So I was reading earlier today through another forum that seasons one and two will be available only through the Disney Movie Club (although I've checked with their site and they're not yet listed). I looked here for further info but didn't find any, so I thought I'd at least pass the word along. No sources cited, but this quote was given: Here's the sitch: Disney Channel's hit animated series KIM POSSIBLE SEASON 1 is finally here on three discs containing 21 awesome adventures -- that's over seven hours of fist-flying, action-packed, SO not your average episodes. If there's danger or trouble, she's there on the double to save the world from villains like Professor Dementor, Drakken and SeƱor Senior Junior AND make it home in time for cheerleading practice. Luckily, she has her sidekick Ron Stoppable and his pet naked mole rat Rufus by her side. So don't miss all the thrills, chills and homeroom study skills in the family favorite, KIM POSSIBLE SEASON 1.
BOO-YA! Kim Possible is back! The second season of Disney Channel's hit animated series KIM POSSIBLE is now on DVD. Join KP, her sidekick ron Stoppable and Rufus, his pet naked mole rat, for 30 awesome missions -- over eleven hours of way cool, save-the-world-before-dinnertime action. Wherever there's A villain to foil or midterm to pass, KIM POSSIBLE SEASON 2 is crime-fighting fun for the whole family.Does anyone else have any further info? *EDIT* Ok, I've got more info; you can only see the sets once you become a member and sign into the DMC site. They are $24.95 each and look like this: Here's to hoping they'll offer seasons three and four as well!

Proper DVD's? Hopes = up! ;D Been putting off getting the Nacospeak ones since my Deutch is Scheisse (amazon.de checkout = confusing). Maybe they'll actually bother to add some bonus material as well... *giddy*

What the hell is it with today anyway? Okay, so I was looking forward to Bleach episode 293 to come out: Good. Then I find out about the Professor Layton AND Pheonix Wright Crossover game for 3DS: Excellent. And now Kim Possible season 1&2 DVDs are announced?
My body just wasn't ready for this level of awesome.

Finally! Any chance that these will hit retail stores in the not to distant future. If not, I'll have to send Legendary Knights Critias, Hermos and Timeaus to overthrow Disney's corrupt management.

Those are just game cards from a terrible filler arc and therefore they don't exist in real life.

Those are just game cards from A terrible filler arc and therefore they don't exist in real life. We can always just flood their inboxes with letters and postcards.

I just want Seasons 1 and 2 to hit retail stores nationwide by mid-2011. That's my target date. It's proably going to hit Disney Store locations first because Kim Possible is owned by Disney, created by the always awesome minds of Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle.

Or you could just join the DMC*. In fact, do that anyway and buy the hell out of those DVD's!
*Seriously, is anyone else automatically reading that as DeLorean Motor Company?

There's a possibility that the Disney Movie Rewards will add these as prizes for points in six months or so, like they have with the DMC exclusive Zorro sets. But frankly I can't wait that long and would rather save my points for something that can't be picked up with money. As for retail stores, I really don't have my hopes up. The early volumes of the Disney Afternoon sets haven't sold enough to warrant releasing the final volumes, and I'm guessing they're releasing these KP sets as the DMC exclusives in anticipation of similar sales. But if they sell better than they expect, maybe we've got a chance to see them in the stores. They did eventually release the Zorro series as WD Treasures (a line that's most likely dead and wouldn't include something as modern as KP anyway), but on the other hand The DuckTales Movie still remains an exclusive title. Unfortunately, bonus features on DMC exclusives are bare minimum if at all, as they have been for the Disney Afternoon sets. For those thinking about joining the DMC for these sets, here's some information I got from a friend that may be helpful: If you're intent on joining, the best join code is 978283, you pay $1 for 5 movies + $14.95 and $8.95 for two bonus movies. To finish your account, you'll have to purchase 2 more movies at $19.95 or more. (Kim Possible Season 1 and 2 cost $24.95 each right now, so you'll be paying $75.8 for everything, or $8.42 per DVD.)
And of course, the more sets they sell, the more likely it is we'll get to see seasons three and four released. * Seriously, is anyone else automatically reading that as DeLorean Motor Company?Yes actually. I may have watched Back to the Future one too many times.

I was with the Disney Movie Club a few years ago. I don't want to join again. I love me some Kim Possible, but I'd rather wait until it was available on Amazon.com and other retail stores. This page on Amazon has been on their site for at least two years now. I do want KP season sets on DVD. Especially with commentary. I love commentary so much. I need it.

It's funny that it's only now when I really don't have a fondness for KP, that they choose to produce season sets....

Thanks enigmawing. I got in with the promo code and found the two sets are now $16.95 each. Given all the troubles we went through to get this far in getting season sets, strike while the iron is hot.

Eh, minor drawback: Had to buy one at the regular price and the other at half-price. But I got them ordered.

I'd like to know what, if any, special features are on the DVDs. Please let us know when you get them.

Can they be purchased from outside the USA? I'm only interested in the KP DVD boxsets, obviously. But why would Disney choose such a rip off joining system? It doesn't make a lot of sense...
