Come on people..... If you hate something don't talk about it, If you really like something tell the whole world. Kigo/slashy/ D/S and even K/R all have haters and supporters so, why can't we just stick to our own fandoms and stick together to continue Kim's legacy.
to the starter of this post...... In my opinion if you really like something....give it your full attention and tell it aloud so that the whole world can see what true fandom means. Don't listen to what others say opposite on what you think, after all what they say only matters to you if you believe in it.

I think using the brain soap was uncalled for in this case, too. I know that brain soap is a joke, but people might be using it too often. It does send a certain message even if it's supposed to be a joke. I can understand why Beeftony objected.
Are you people really that easily squicked out?
And yes, let's not turn this into another KiGo debate. It's about liking Hego.

I have never felt a need for Brainsoap on this board, or the new bodywash product line. Not to say that they aren't cute ideas though. Hego... well there's nothing wrong with liking him. Some of my best friends are fangirls ^^.

I thought Hego was acting really hilarious in "Mathter and Fervent". When I saw some of the antics he was up to, I was finding it hard not to like him myself!

Hego is cool. His stereo-type hero-ness is hilarious. And his finger puppets. *snicker*

He is a classic example of Super Strength Hero, neigh indistructible, but not as dextarious, when Kim got the super strength, she had both Strength and Dexterity mixed, a VERY deadly combo

Hego is a jackass. I mean, come on, the guy's a two-dimensional Superman parody who's too caught up in his own ideals to have a firm grip on reality. Not a very engaging character. At best, he serves as a reminder that Kim isn't really all that much of a Mary Sue, because she has real problems. Hego's just too obsessed with being a hero to be a real person, which limits his entertainment value. Maybe if we saw more of his alter ego (who looks suspiciously like Clark Kent), then his whole "Gooperation" shtick would be more bearable. But so far he's just served as a gag character that they bring in whenever they need to funny up a scene.
Kind of like Ron this season.

You got some sympathy on this thread when Luke brought out the brainsoap for your ship of choice.
You weren't asked your opinion of Hego's character, just what you might think if you were told by someone they have a crush on Hego.

Yeah I know that wasn't a very nice thing to say about Hego.

I didn't ask for sympathy. I'm not going to lie and say I like Hego either. Everything that could possibly have been said about that had already been covered, and a tangent was starting to develop where people posted their feelings on Hego. I was just doing the same. I don't care if it's not nice. It's how I feel.
It's not like I'm flaming, since I gave actual reasons. If you want to debate individual points, fine. But don't accuse me of not being nice, because I made that post knowing full well that it would draw a negative reaction. And I'd do it again.

First off, let's not make this about KiGo. You do not want to see me rant about that. I'll just say that I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and that trying to bait me with such a comment shows a lack of maturity on your part.
I've just never been one for fanboying/fangirling. I simply stated that Hego as portrayed in canon is not a character that I'm fond of. Here's why I think he's an ass:
-He's condescending. Look how he treats Ron in "Go Team Go" at first. When Ron asks why the world famous Naco isn't being sold at the Super Grande Bueno Nacho, Hego gives him a terse answer and then basically ignores him. When Kim tries to fight Aviarius, he tells her to stay out of the way so she doesn't get hurt. He does it rather rudely, too.
-He's unrealistic. Hego's character type comes from the Golden Age of superheroes, where Deus Ex Machina was the order of the day and the good guy always saved the day with a cheezy pun and a big smile. He's a parody of Superman fer cryin' out loud; don't tell me he doesn't come off as a self-righteous prick when he's too caught up in his own ideals to realize that the world doesn't work the way he seems to think it does.
-He's arrogant. Aside from pretty much ordering Kim to stand aside when she tried to fight Aviarius, he got into a petty argument with Mego about how super strength is so much better than shrinking. He even led a bone-headed charge against Aviarius because he couldn't accept the fact that his lacking powers gave him no more chance against Aviarius than the average person.
-He's a glory hound. The way he told the Team Go origin story says to me that he's only a hero because he likes being recognized as one. He even feigns nobility by telling Kim to sit in his seat. Hego seems obsessed with making himself appear better than everyone around him, wanting them all to praise him as a hero. Of course, this only succeeds in making them view him as an ass.
-He's stupid. Seriously, a view screen that allows him to contact his foes with NO encryption? Then again, considering how dumb his foes are, it's no wonder it never occured to him that it could be used for spying, because it never occured to any of them either.
-He's stubborn. This is never a virtue. I understand that Kim can be a bit bull-headed at times, but this guy has such a huge case of Cranial Rectitis that he can't see any viewpoint other than his own. Not one of the qualities of a great leader.
-He operates on a code of justice that the world has long since abandoned, expecting his foes to be good sports when they lose and just come back again. He can't comprehend real evil. To him, the world is black and white. He doesn't understand Shego because she's the grayest character on the show.
-His explanation for Shego going evil is so... basic, it's either bulls**t or he's covering something up. Or he's just so thickheaded that he didn't realize that it was his tendency to speak down to and try to control anybody who thinks differently than him that drove her away, and didn't catch on to the fact that Shego was unhappy with being on the team until the moment she split. He's not very observant about those sorts of things.
That's why I'm not a Hego fan.
