The boredom bug bit me, so I decided to scan through the boards. Then, I found this thread! Wow, I never realised we have another Malaysian on the boards, and you've been around for two months already! Anyway, a belated welcome to you, Haruko! Now, just a few questions for a start. Sorry if some of these questions have been asked, I'm just too lazy to scan through your thread. LOL! ;D T1. How long have you've been in New York? Roughly 2 years. 2. Are you working or still studying in New York? Just graduated from NYU...need to find a job...like SOON! 3. Will you be coming back to Malaysia? If yes, is it just for short visit or permanent? Aiyarrrrrr ini soalan ah sangat susah nak jawab...hahaha...I'm thinking I might...and more likely short visit...kot? 4. What is your race stated in your Malaysian identity card? (i.e. Malay, Chinese etc.) Melayu. lol 5. Which part of US have you've visited besides New York? I've covered most of the East Coast and the Midwest region. I just need to head west now lol. 6. How often do you get to meet Avenger? (He's living in New York too, right?) Not as often as I wish I could! Coz no...he doesn't live in New York...he lives in Chicago. I did get to see him last week though... 7. Have you've seen all Kim Possible episodes? If yes, what is your favourite Kim Possible episode? No I haven't...there were big elaborate plans for me to watch them...last week...but hmm...got distracted. 78. Guess, how many Malaysian members are there in RS.Net? uh...hmm...I'm not sure... 3 or 4? 9. Have you've been to Los Angeles Disneyland? If no, will you be going there anytime soon? Nope. I haven't had the pleasure to actually visit California just yet. LAX is the only place in California I have been to. LOL. I have gone to Disney WORLD in Orlando, Florida...like 3 times. 10. What Malaysian food do you miss the most? (i.e. satay, nasi lemak, roti canai etc.) Ish...soalan susah ni! Hmm...I guess I would say Laksa Johore or Soto Ayam or Mee Rebus Baidali (at Aji Don Alley at Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas) or Keuw Tiow Kerang (also at Aji Don Alley) or Murtabak Singapore (Aji Don Alley too) (the bigger most amazing murtabak lah kan!), owh and Teh Tarik...miss Teh Tarik lah! Ok...10 questions for the time being. More to come when the boredom bug bites again! hehe! ;D

Most of the Malaysian guys here say I look Japanese too, when they first meet me and never think I'm Malay until I start speaking in Malay and their first reaction will always be "LAH!!! MELAYU KE??? INGAT JEPUN TADI!" weird eh? Hehe mmg lah bukan bapak die punye! I surely hope not! Tapi ye, takut mcm somethings die tak nak reveal ke halayak ramai ke? LOL. He manages to construct sentences in Malay very well, all he really needs is a English-Malay dictionary. Yay! Yes please! Send me the songs! I'm always into good music. ;D

Oh, tell him I'm buying you guys a Naco if he makes it to Malaysia. ;D Ohhh...he knows about Pontianak? Hmmmm...have you shown him the Malaysian horror movie, "Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam"? Yeah, I'm not a fan of Siti too. I thought you were, though. My bad! LOL! ;D Oh, what type of songs do you like? Do you listen to rock songs too? Hahaha...hmm...I think he might want South East Asia too..so you might have to fight with him on that one. I on the other hand...can't really be bothered. I'd prefer if he didn't get Asia in general! I have my reasons hehehe I haven't been to Tioman either. I'm such a terrible Malaysian!!! I've been to like Langkawi though! And I've covered the whole of Peninsula Malaysia, been to every state, just not the beaches. Even covered Singapore (mom True Blue Johorian [JB mari]) and Thailand. Parents were never the "it's school holidays jom gi pantai" type. My mom isn't a fan of beaches and dad well he can't be bothered either way. Most of my school holidays were spent going back to KL..back to civilization. (Hahaha my parents dulu keje kat UUM. I was dragged against my will to live in Jitra, Kedah for most of my High School years) So yeah...every chance I got I either hopped on a bus to get back to KL (I would do this on random weekends sometimes) or forced my parents to drive us all back to KL. I was that bad! Plus after SPM I just went straight to Uni overseas and well never really had the chance to travel to the beaches with friends and stuff. Like most of the Malaysians students do. Pegi Penang and PD ade lah whenever balik cuti from Melbourne dulu hahahaha. I will though...I really want to. Redang, Tioman, Perhentian maybe? I think Avenger would like the places! I Hmm...ala! Skang rindu lah plak nak balik Malaysia duk tepi pantai! I will tell him. But first...I must find out what it is! No he has not seen the movie although I have mentioned it to him! I want to see 'Jangan Pandang Belakang' coz people have been saying it's scary and I actually have it, I just have not found the courage to watch it yet. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it with Avenger. Urgh no way would I like Siti. She's so euwwwness! I can't stand her! Yes...I think it's safe to say I am a rock chick...I like most rock music, I'm actually into a lot of types of music. Huge fan of the Strokes and Coldplay and John Mayer and the Artic Monkeys, the Ramones, Racheal Yamagata, etc....

And Venice and Rome and Florence and Barca and Monaco and Paris and Nice and Prague and Vienna and Oslo and Stockholm and Berlin ahhhhhhh so many places!!! Hey wait...you keep asking me questions...do you have an 'Ask Me' thread? So I can ask you stuff??? Haha! Sabo jer lah! ;D I was a teenager back then. Jakun gak tengok tandas kat Narita Airport, coz first time I tengok tandas automatic flush! 14 tahun lepas mane ader tandas automatic flush kat Malaysia! LOL! ;D Ooohhhh....banyaknyerrrr tempat!!!!! Yeah, same here. Kalo lah duit I nih tak berenti mengalir, sure dah satu dunia I visit! ;D I tak buat "Ask Me" thread coz I rase I tak mampu nak jawab soalan2 yg org lain akan tanyer gak, especially now that I don't log on as often as I used to. Susah gak kalo fay-mers sangat kan? Ah, the price of fame! LOL! ;D No prob on that, u boleh tanyer I kat sini atau PM. I sure jawab punyer! Hahaha...hmm...I think he might want South East Asia too..so you might have to fight with him on that one. I on the other hand...can't really be bothered. I'd prefer if he didn't get Asia in general! Eliminated the "enemy" when his own fellow army members, USS Columbia, "accidentally" hit him. Haven't checked back since, but as far as I'm concerned, South East Asia is still mine! haha! ;D You should make a trip to Pulau Tioman someday! It is a really beautiful island! ;D Oohhhhh...Kedah! That's pretty far! At least 4 - 5 hours' drive ( depending on your speed. )....and you forced your parents to go to KL every random weekend? You're evil!!!!! LOL! ;D Well, there's nothing much up north, unless you wanna get away from the busy city lifestyle. Most of the fun stuff is in KL. Hmmm...are you a fan of horror movies? I haven't seen both movies (not a fan of horror movies), but my sister have seen "Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam". According to her, it is a pretty scary movie. Oh btw, Maya Karin was my classmate in college...but it was long time ago, I doubt she remembered me. Awesome! I'm more of a heavy metal and rock fan (Metallica is my fav band! ...and I like Evanescene, Linkin Park and several others too!)....but since I had my first gf few years ago, I can now accept slow and sappy songs! LOL! ;D So, have you've been to any rock band's concert?

LOL! ;D So, have you've been to any rock band's concert? Hahahaha I have fun reading those type of 'battle/war/whatever you call them' posts. They're very interesting. So you're not part of the army?? Why not! I have not asked Avenger about South East Asia...I will ask him soon. Oh yeah I found out what a Naco is...he says it's delish! So looking forward for you buying us Nacos! Wahaha ;D Maybe...Avenger and I can make a trip to Tioman one day. I would either get them to drive down to KL or I would just buy a bus ticket back. And on weekends when I'm not heading back to KL we would go to Penang. I was that EVILLL! But you can't blame me can you?? It was JITRA! LOL Yes I am a fan of horror movies. I like watching horror movies...but I always tend to get freaked out right after I watch them and I'll get all scared to go anywhere. Hahaha...I always tend to watch horror movies with my eyes hidden either between my fingers or behind a huge pillow. I saw Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam at the cinema when I was in Malaysia. It was pretty scary, but I think the scariest part was totally the opening...when they showed the flying Pontianak and it sitting on a tree. When the movie opened with that I was totally ready to leave the cinema. I was like "shoot...I can't watch this...no way!", but the rest of the movie was not as scary...it was ok scary. It was definitely interesting. I'm not a huge Malay movie fan but Pontianak was alright. Wow? Maya Karin was your classmate? That's...hmm...cool I guess. I worked with her just before I came here actually. I had worked with Saidah Rastam and Jit Murad and I was in charge of all the actors and actresses, dancers and singers who were working for them for a play they were working on. I basically had all of their contact addresses hahahaha. I have my own opinion on who's cool and who's not. Working so close with these 'artists'. Oh I like heavy rock stuff too I guess but not a HUGE HUGE fan. I mean they're ok sometimes. Not a fan of Linkin though hahaha. But they're o...k... Have I been to any rock concerts? Hmm...I don't think so I mean nothing really hard 'ROCK' I guess. Although I do go to concerts and gigs often. I just went to a Joss Stone concert last Friday at Central Park and I'm going to go see Albert Hammond Jr (he's from the Strokes) on the 18th! Woohoo! I'm excited for that! Anyways I'm thinking of interesting question to ask you...

Look forward to the day when you guys come to Malaysia ( in your case, coming back to Malaysia. ). Yeah, bring him to Tioman Island! If he love beaches, he would love it there! Yeah, can't really blame ya...but you're still evil anyway! haha! ;D Wow, it was THAT scary, eh? There are several horror stories here, like "Chermin". Not sure how scary that movie is. However, lately I see lots of horror movies coming from Korea, and its getting rediculous! I mean, they even have a horror movie titled "To Sir, With Love" !!! What's up with that? LOL! ;D Anyway, I'm more of the comedy and action movie fan. Movies like "300" and "Mr Bean" would be more to my liking. You worked with Maya Karin and several actors? Nice....well, what do work on? Scripts? She was famous back in college, and she's even more famous now, with singing, acting and being a VJ on Channel [V]. Last I heard about her is that she's staying somewhere near my cousin's place. Oh well, she's not exactly my taste, so it doesn't really matter. Wow, seems you've been to several concerts already! I went to Linkin Park concert at Stadium Merdeka few years ago. It was awesome! Haven't been to much concerts since. Questions? Fire away! Btw, here's some pics of the Naco! ;D Yummy! ;D

Well I haven't heard of the one you mentioned and yeah you're right the title is way weird. I am a Movie freak so I watch basically everything from dramas to action to horror to comedy to indie...anything really! Yup I worked with Maya Karin and Lina Teoh and Paula Malai and Jit and a bunch of other actors, most of them from Actors Studio and those 'english' speaking actors, it was actually for M the Opera, but I left before the play finished. I wasn't really into the play and I was getting ready to come to New York anyways so I left the production team. I read the script and basically thought it wasn't that good but who am I to say anything right... Yup concerts are always fun. I love music and there's no better way to appreciate it then going to a live gig. Ooo....the Naco! LOL. Well I'm sure Avenger would love it!
