Come on in people. Let's rock n' roll I want to get to know the people here better, and in turn I want people to get to know me, so If anyone feels the urge to ask something, fire away. You might find there's more going on here past the Metallica fan exterior.

Do you watch Heroes? Do you watch Kyle XY? Do you watch Phil of the Future? No for the first two. Phil of the Future; that actually caught my attention for a time. I liked the concpet; a Family from the very advanced future being stuck in our time. Pretty original idea. I like original ideas. But honestly SciFi isn't really my thing, so it's rare that things in that genre will catch my interest.

Kyle XY is ABC Family. And Heroes on SciFi is reruns, its originally aired on NBC. Well....Uh....I think I was just owned. Okay. so I'm a little ignorant when it comes to TV shows and TV genres. Something else about me to throw out in the open. Maybe I'll check these out just to be fair and make an actual opinion. Do you like Pokemon? Do you like Digimon? Who's your favorite character on KP? Pokemon? *shudders* The TV show I can't stand. But I have played some of the games for GameBoy and Nintendo DS and found them pretty fun. I have to say, I was amazed at the fact that about 2/3 of the kids in my senior class had DS's and by the end of the year a third were playing pokemon in the middle of class, including myself. Quite amusing. Good times. ;D Now, Digimon I could never get into at all. It was a little to out there for me. My brother enjoys it a lot though and I respect that. As for my favorite KP character, that's hard. Everyone brings something special to the show. If I had to pick I'd say Ron, cause he's similar to one of my best friends attitude wise.

What's your favorite Metallica album?

What's your favorite Metallica album? Oh man, that's a hard one. It really depends on how I'm feeling; certain albums appeal to me more depending on my mood. Though the ones that I really love and listen to more than the rest are Load and S&M.

Though the ones that I really love and listen to more than the rest are Load and S&M. Do you like the more recent music of Metallica over their earlier works? Honestly I think all the albums have something good about them and I do listen to them all quite frequently, but yeah, the later stuff appeals to me more. I do think that all the early stuff is classic and are powerful records, however, my personal taste in music is for more melodic, mellow songs but with a hard edge to them. Load, and to a lesser extent, ReLoad, are great albums and are right within this category. Everyone says that these are among the worst in Metallica's list, but I disagree. The band changed and evolved; went beyond just doing thrash. For that period in the bands history, they are perfect albums. A lot of those songs are such great tracks and they get swept aside simply because they aren't fast or heavy enough; because they don't have the edge of the old Metallica. I don't try to put the later stuff up against the early stuff because you just can't. It's a different style all together, and that's what I like. It's the same band, just evolved and more mature. S&M just added a whole new depth to all their material with the symphony. It's amazing, probably among the greatest things the band has done. Hearing the old and the new songs in one set played with such power and emotion is really mind blowing. St. Anger, while I think it is deeply flawed, isn't as bad as most people say. It's just an experiment that wasn't executed as well as it could have been. With just a little more work, I feel those tracks could have been just as good as some of the early stuff. But, as it is, I do enjoy listening to it when the mood is right.

Why do so many people dislike the St. Anger album? I liked the song and play it at those times I feel... well, angry. ;D
