I'll keep my fingers crossed that they'll figure it out. In the mean time it's good to have you back.

Wow.
Alyssa, I'll keep you in my thoughts. I hope they find/figure out what's going on. Not knowing what something is is probably the worst part of it. I wish you luck and hope you feel better.

I don't really know what to say except that I wish you and your family/doctors the best in finding a cure to your ailment, and that hopefully one day you can look back on this as an unpleasant but ultimately surmountable problem.

I want to thank everyone for their support. But now I have a dare, someone ask if I liked the Twilight books or if I'm excited about the movie.
Come on.
Make. My. Day.

Ashley, my love. You have made my day. Not my art, but that is exactly how I feel. >.> Stephanie Meyer is an insult to authors everywhere and only encourages bad UGLY BETTY fanfiction writers to pursue a career in writing. ( art from shinga at shinga.deviantart.com )

Indeed I do.
I read the first book in my Senior Year of High School, it was worth about 40 EBS points (EBS was an electronic quiz we took on the computer instead of doing book reports. For more rantings on EBS, scroll down) and because it was 500+ pages with large print.- The entire time I was reading it I wanted to do what I did to the Harry Potter Book.
Throw it out the window, set it on fire and pretend I never read it.
If I had the time to finish "Of Human Bondage" (45 points, but 700 pages with LITTLE print) I would have but Twighlight was an easy and disgusting read that took, I kid you not, but 8 hours of my time.
To me, that book is an insult to novels everywhere. It makes no sense at certain parts (Why on EARTH would vampires be shiny?) and the communication between certain characters is poor. i feel like the "Extra" vampires like Edwards "sisters" and "brother" were created for the soul purpose of being background characters."
The worst part is, Twilight would have actually been a good book if any real effort had been put into it. Unfortunately all the Narutards and chubby goths who read and write that crap of their own and worship Anne Rice told eery other Narutard at all the conventions and message Boards that "Twilight is the best book ever written. I love Edward, but I hate Bella but she's ok because Edward loves her"
*EBS was horrible for me because I enjoyed book reports. I'm creative so I always had fun with my written assignments. The worst part was that some teachers would make you write about the book anyways, in not a book report format, but a boring 5-page-answer-these-generic-questions-that-have-nothing-to-do-with-the-book that stifled creativity.
also because of a mishap with EBS in 10th grade when I had missed 3-weeks of school due to a bladder infection I ended up failing and needing to repeat 1st semester 10th grade english.

Okay, so I know you don't like Twilight, and because you don't like Twilight, you don't like Stephanie Meyer.
But did you at least give The Host a try?

I didn't know there was a book called "The Host"
What is it about and give me 4 concrete reasons as to why I should read it. No less than two pages, 500 words and due monday.

So I did. I first watched it when it first came out, because someone (I think it was Ninnik) posted it here when the second act came out. Favorite character? Like/hate the angst? Written/read any fanfiction? Read the Captain Hammer: Be Like Me! comic? Edit: Oh, and "My Eyes" was one of my favorite songs- did a KP AMV to it. I liked Twilight but understand and respect your opinion. "The Host" is, I think, a sci-fi book by Meyer. Bien, ¿y tu? ¿Qué te gusta hacer?

I actually haven't read any Dr. Horrible fanfiction. I'm a bit nervous that it'll be like so much fanfiction, poorly written and overly cliche. But I always believe in giving something a chance. ...I also didn't know there WAS Dr. Horrible fanfiction. I'll go ahead and take a link to any you recommend as well as the webcomic. By starwberrygina at deviantartOnly makes sense if you're a firefly/serenity fan. The comments on the picture is pretty cool too. "I was able to meet with Nathan Fillion at Dragon*Con 2008 this year. I gave him a shiny print of this piece and he loved it! He laughed out loud and even pointed to the doctor in panel two, remarking on how funny the expression was. I am still all giddy about that"Brand New Day" is my favorite. My good friend sings all of the Dr. Horrible songs really well. He has the same kind of voice as Neil Patric Harris... *sighs* I could just listen to him sing all day... Well if I come across it I'll probably skim through it, if it's newer work it MIGHT be better than Twilight. If it's older I'm not holding my breath. Quiero leer y dibujar. I admit, i used a freetranslation. Due to my recent health issues I had to DROP my spanish class and nothing from before is really sticking. The medication I am on is making it difficult for me to retain information in ENGLISH which makes studying a foreign language practically impossible.

yessssssssss!!!another person who hates twilight as much as me!! I am surrounded everyday by "like omg Edward is so hot!and like I'm so in love with him!!!" I'm just all "newsflash people, Edward is a fictional vampire and the guy who plays him is ugly" I watched the preview for the movie on the Penelope DVD there was like special twilight stuff and my friend asked me if I just adored that preview, I said it was alright. And I about died laughing when she was all "and Edward and Bella started to waltz with each other and it was soooooooo intense" I did not see the intensity, especially in a waltz, I fall asleep when I see waltzing lol. Intense dancing is krumping people!!!wow I just ranted and it was fun lol and I like your little narutard thing I laughed!!!
