Serge is the one that approves people, a system put in place since people registered here to spam the place.

Serge is the one that approves people, a system put in place since people registered here to spam the place. Ya, this is quite true. Serge changed the registration sitch a while ago when we were hit hard by a bunch of spammers registering as "Mudkips." The last batch of posts made by these pinheaded idiots were so bad I nearly puked on my keyboard... YEEE-GADS! SOOOOO... the registration lock was put back on by Serge, and I don't blame her at all! To the folks waiting for the OK to be a member, please be patient and hang on a little bit, OK? Serge is a pretty busy person these days with a LOT of Irons in the fire. She WILL get to doing this in good time, guys. RD

Ah, I see. Spammers are rather rampant these days. Very well, thanks a ton.

I didn't know this forum was so big. We'd probably be lucky to have 100 active members though

Why not give a couple of moderators the power to approve registrations? I suspect there may be a few members lost due to unnecessary delays. They may not be diehards, but the number of members on this (and other?) forum(s) is a gauge for KPs popularity, and thus useful should you need proof, for whatever reason. Well, for FFF letters, mainly.
