Amen! This guy has written in no uncertain terms how annoyed he was about the spam, and people want to dismiss him as "needing to get a life"? Good God, talk about irony! When people write stuff like this in articles and blogs, how do you think that makes the world view us? You dismiss people like that by saying "screw 'em", and you can kiss your dreams of a KP season 5 goodbye forever. I say, stop with the spamming, STAT, and take a whole new approach. THANK YOU! And Amen! This is exactly what some of us have been talking about. Plus, I think the first order of business should be to issue Mr. Carlin an apology, preferably in a snail-mail letter. It may not win him over at all, but it sure wouldn't hurt. You sure aren't going to win anyone over to the cause by bashing those who don't see things exactly the way you do.

Very nicely put FaZhou and artfan, but at the present time I felt like venting a little, and if my venting gets us more media support even through sympathy, all the better, if not. At least my frustration to this all will cease and we can move on with this.
I've been working on getting to key people who I feel could help write real positive articles on Kim Possible and help our cause. I need these people to feel what we're feeling and if I have to use Peter what's his last name to do so. Then so be it.
Your right artfan and so are you FaZhou, I let my emotions get the best of me this time. And your right it's time for a new direction and we shall go there together...

But for God's sake, don't be emailing people outside the KP fandom, griping what a reviewer had to say about you...which was justified in the first place, IMO. You're making us all look like a bunch of nutty zealots.

Kudos to foothills30. In the face of a terrifying setback, a positive strategic suggestion. Welcome to the cause friend. ;D Glad to be part of the cause Manofevil! I just think the KP fans need to benignly distinguish themselves from the fans of other canceled shows. If we want positive social recognition, we need to offer the media something positive and unique worth reporting. We have got to think out-of-the-box. And I do think a charity angle could achieve that. It would also help bring together all KP fans, both those fighting for the FFF and those who are not – it would be a neutral rallying point. Now, whether my idea is practical or not…that’s another matter. But imagine the good that could come of the effort.

I'm going to agree with ArtFan88 on this one. The FFF needs to leave out / drop the ADJL crew for the time being. It has only caused decesion in the ranks from what I've observed. As Julius knows my contributions to the FFF are mostly side work and not nearly as dedicated as most of you. I personally would be willing to let go of a season five if they would release the darn box sets for seasons 1-4. I think your on the right track now, Julius has been doing some most impressive work over the last few months to redirect the effort and I believe this incident is just the sort of event that will do it. Good luck, keep up the fight.

Although I really want to punch that guy, his words make a point. Maybe our plan is a bit too aggressive. Maybe we need to reform and change our method into a more assertive way. However, just because people have a passion for something, doesn't give that idiot a right to put us down. It has nothing to do with him, and he has NO clue about what this show is. How can he even think of making such a rash decision based on his emotions?! It's proposterous! People have different interests, making each and every one of us unique, and if he disagrees, then he can shove his foot up his apparently clueless voice box. GT out.

This thread was originally put here to inform all KP fans about the unjust terrible press the FFF is getting. It appears however, that this press is justified in some opinions. Now the discussion is turning to FFF direction and discussion and it is better served being in the FFF section now.

In the past, I have had my concerns about your campaign, although I do wish you every success. I would like to have you consider one thought. Mr. Ames is teh one person who actually spoke up and complained about all the emails. Perhaps you might consider how many others felt the same way, but have not spoken up. I dare say it may very well be a worrisome number. Artfan's suggestions are something I think you should consider. I agree with him that you must make your letters count, but even more importantly, you must make them count positively, not negatively. Again I wish you much luck.

What all of you need to understand is the press is there for the public and not the other way around. In the old days the press report on everything, now they pick and choose like if they were shopping for apples or oranges...forgetting that they can make a difference in peoples lives, but that means nothing to most of them. Tenley Woodman is an exception and so are a rare few journalist. Tenley knew that she could give us a boost and help our cause. She saw there was a story behind it and she cared enough to care about us and the people involved.
I mean What makes Jennifer Lopez having a baby more important then a bunch of fans who are dedicated to saving their show and all they ask for is some coverage, a word or two, an article would be nice, but even just a mention, that's not much to ask for..but when journalists assume the position of a god and decide what they should make public, regardless of the fact that they know full well that even a word from them could help the cause of not only our fight, but for other stories they refuse to write about or do. Even after continuous appeals, they should at least consider what there abilities and their position could do, but yet they ignore it, instead decide to lash out cause they know they can...it's wrong and sometime soon that will change.
The media has become to relaxed, most of these so call journalists only write what they know people will want to hear, like J-LO having a baby, I mean I'm happy for J-LO, but would they have even mentioned J-LO having a baby if she was just an average person, just someone of the street?

Perhaps so, man, but you also have to realize that many of these journalists may have ambitions of their own. They may be covering the entertainment desk NOW, but that may be the only job they could swing for themselves. If they're looking to move up to, say, the crime beat or the political arena or even the war in Iraq, then they have to be fairly careful about what they hand their editors. For that matter, they may well have already written stories about the FFF and their editors may have rejected them. In many news organizations, the editors act in much the same way as the suits at Disney. Hand them as many great ideas as you like; if they don't feel like spending their money on them, they won't. J-Lo is a proven seller of papers even if the whole thing is mindless, so they're bringing money in if they print stories about her. The FFF is still a voice in the wilderness, so they'll only print us on a slow news day. (OI! this just had to be an election year, didn't it. ) The point is that in corporate news, like in every corporation, everybody has someone to answer to. The journalists to the editors, the editors to the department heads, and on up to the CEO, who answers to the stockholders. This is something else we need to take into account in our campaign if we intend to be successful.

Thanks for the link, very interesting. I appreciate that he is willing to aknowledge the movement getting in touch with him. It saddens me that he still seems so bitter even when the olive branch is passed his way.
