Deist, I guess. Baptized and raised Roman Catholic (the Irish ancestry)
I was going to elaborate on my choice to leave the church, but out of respect for ALL faiths, I decline at this time.

Maybe because Tom Cruise is a scientologist, and was acting all weird on tv, people treat the religion almost like a celebrity matter. But there may be scientologists on this board, so we should stay civil. I don't make fun of scientology, although I disagree with their view on medicines.

RD Wanna discuss it with me? I left the church myself after 18 years in Roman Catholicism. I'm also Lutheran by Ancestry too... never been to a Luth church.

The "Truth" is an older name used to refer to Christianity. I remember my grandparents calling it that.

Mom was a Catholic, Dad was Protestant...but now were all just one big happy non-denominational Christian family.
(I put down Protestant 'cuz we don't do stuff like communion and confession, etc. et. atl.)

It's funny... we're not allowed to make fun of religions but everyone makes fun of Scientology. Because Scientology is a certifiably fake religion. (I remember cloudmonet noting that L. Ron Hubbard once said that if he got rich, he'd found a religion. He got rich, and did just that.) Well, iut's obvious that I'm a Catholic.

I am a conservative Christian, but I do not know what I am really, if I am a Catholic or a Protestant, I may even be a conservative Deist for all I know, in some cases I agree with the Catholic Church, in some cases my positions are closer to Baptists or Evangelicals, although I still classify myself as a Catholic.

Yep the chap said he'd make up a fake religion to make money and he did just that. Therefore Scientologist are idiots. Simple as that. ;D

That's not a fair judgment.
Have you even looked at the religion?

Does being Atheist mean that a person does not believe in anything supernatural or paranormal at all, which means that to that person, everything in this world can be explained by science
