keke....well, since I'm on staff for the Richmond Diagon Alley thing, the INSTANT it ends and I have my book, I am locking myself in some room at Zaaly's house and reading it in one go, no internet or phone or tv till I'm done. XD I won't have the end spoiled the way it was for Half-Blood Prince!!! (which was the fault of one of my own best friends, amazingly XD;

Just before Half Blood Prince came out - there was an article on Mugglenet about LOADS of people who were betting on Dumbledore to die. In fact, there were so many bets for that person, that it looked suspicious enough for the people taking the bets to call it off.
That spoiled the sixth book for me, 'cause all the way through I wondering - is it going to be him?

I was lucky to stay away from those spoilers about DumbleD., but Mugglenet really helped. They didn't post one thing thing without soe kind of spoiler warning or anything. They really helped. I don't think Libraries should be getting the book early. Look what's happened! Leaked in a matter of 3 days before release. They still don't have the whole book though, and all I know for sure is that one character really does live. Which I knew was going to happen. I'm alright. At least I' not spoiled like when Sirius met his fate in OoTP.

Oooh, you were spoiled about Sirius? Poor you! I personally haven't encountered a death that effected me as much as Cedric's did. But Dumbledore's absense is taking its toll on me.
Anywho, reading the book on my computer feels just as enjoyable as reading the book in real life. I'm a few pages into Chapter Seven at the moment - another thirty to go ^^

With book 5, I was REALLY hoping that Hagrid would die.
Don't get me wrong, he's a good character, but he's a character I really didn't care about.
Nabu! Stop reading it! Wait a few days! PLEASE!
Fine, I hope JK Rowling kicks you in the butt.

OMG, stop? Perish the thought. Thus far, Deathly Hallows has been a captivating page-turner. Seriously, it's like a drug. If I stopped now, I think I'd die ^^

Well, you've got to keep yourself off the board because if you spoil it for me, I will go to England to kick your British arse.
You're making me nervous.
Come on, Saturday, hurry up!

Awww, no need to be nervous at all - I won't slip a thing, I won't even hint or imply In fact, as soon as I finish reading - I'm avoiding this thread altogether. Anywho, onto Chapter Eight!

Guh. It's SO tempting. But I've already payed thirty bucks for the book, and I'd rather get my money's worth. Plus I'm spending the entire friday afternoon at my bookstore. And I strangely want one of the boxes the books came in. Just to say I have one. It's actually 3.6 days right now. I just don't count today.
And you're right, 3-4 days is LONG! Yesterday felt like a week or some reason.

I should sleep in more.... I've been waking up at like 7 or 8am every morning. I find myself bored constantly waiting around... And I was supposed to go golfing today... My friend canceled on me.
And yeah, Nabu, I was on the harrypotter.com message boards and it said in a thread title - SIRIUS DIES! - I wasn't really mad. Just surprised.
And now the rumors that I have hard are weird. Some people are saying Harry Dies.... some say Harry lives.... I don't know what to think, so don't tell me.

I have all these mixed feelings. I want to shout questions at Nabu although I know he won't answer them. But then, I don't really want the answers...

Ironically, I always look forward to spoilers! D: Maybe it's because of my habit of not finishing any HP books I buy .. I always tend to read about 1/4 of it (or if I'm lucky, 1/2 of it!) then go around asking people what happened in the story .. or just wait for the movie. XD yeah, I'm lazy like that ...

Awww, I feel sorry for thee ^^ Reading a Harry Potter book for the first time is the best. I mean, I don't even care about the plot half the time. It's just the act of reading the great narrative. I mean, a plot and a good mystery helps - but it's the EXPERIENCE that counts.

Perhaps this time, I'll do something special. Since it's the last book .. I'll actually TRY and MAKE myself read the whole thing! ;D Hopefully, I'll survive.
