Ah, I didn't know you had a story written! But I searched and found, and if it's "The Fight for Freedom", then I found it I'll even link to it here, in case the curious wish to read it: www.fanfiction.net/s/3641358/1/Kim_Possible_The_Fight_for_FreedomI'll post a review once I've gone through all 5 chapters. First impressions? I thought it was kinda rich that you expressed concern in all my other stories about messing with established canon, when in your tale you killed Kim off! Granted it made the story more dramatic, but physician - heal thyself... "I am not going to dignify that with a response." -Ron, in 'The Big Job' *grins*, your just gonna have to wait and see...

Catfight! Quoth Grimm: "I don't suppose you've got any popcorn?" Ron: How about Nacos? Grim: *silent for a second* Eyes on the game. Five bucks says Rhonda kicks Kim's butt. Ron: Make it ten, I got faith in KP! LOL, that catfight was PERFECT! And I loved the "As a matter of fact I do." part.

Thanks - a good catfight must be carefully crafted. The only thing I neglected was to have one of them start taking pictures....

Ya' know, a thought just occurred to me...
With all the big talk that Kim was making about "truth and light," Grimm seems to be the one speaking the truth and sheding light in this situation.
The sad fact is that Kim really hasn't done anything to help Ron develop his powers, or even suggested that he should try. Although she'd never admit it to herself, she probably really is terrified that if he ever truly developed his gift, then he might very well grow to overshadow her...
And then where would she be without her precious spotlight.
The big worry now is that Ron might find out just how little Kim really thinks of him as a crime-fighter. He's used to people seeing him as the team's second banana, after all... but for Kim to see him the same way? That revelation just may break him in a way that can't be fixed.

A cunning observation - one I may have to make mention of in future chapters. One reviewer over at fanfiction.net disagreed, but raised an interesting point. He said that Kim actually HAS tried to make changes to Ron in the series and that she's been very energetic about it. An example he cited was when she tried to get him to change his hair style.
While true, I observed that most of the 'changes' that she's tried to make in his life was to make him more 'popular' as opposed to making him a better partner or a better part of the team. Her meddling usually focuses on some social aspect.
Which raises another question I'll be addressing in the story at some point. Does Kim want to improve Ron for his sake, or for hers? Ron doesn't seem to care if people make fun of him or laugh at him, but Kim cares a lot about such things. So she may be trying to improve him so that SHE doesn't get laughed at along with him as her boyfriend.... Ah, there are so many layers to the Kim/Ron dynamic that just weren't touched on in the series....

Ah, there are so many layers to the Kim/Ron dynamic. Welcome to the wonderful world of human relations, my friend: A subsidiary of the Friendly Funny Farm Corporation. Kim's motivation is something that has been touched on lightly in a few other fanfics as well, although never addressed in detail to the best of my knowledge. Outwardly she seems so altruistic, and she'll profess this till the end of the day, but deep down one has to wonder... Is she really in it for the common good, or is she just in it for the notoriety? Deep down inside, where even SHE is likely unaware of it, is she really just a publicity hound? Or might she just be an adrenaline junkie who found a creative way of getting her fix? Perhaps it's a combination of all these things? In the end, whose to say? And if she isn't as altruistic as we've been led to believe all this time, doesn't that make her a lot more like Grimm than she'd be comfortable admitting? After all, such circumstances would mean they both have primarily selfish motivations for their activities. Grimm does it for money while Kim is chasing the limelight. At the end of the day, they're both really just looking out for good ol' number one. ------------ And on a completely and thoroughly unrelated note, I've been wondering lately about the ultimate destiny of Team Probable. Sure, they're not nearly as evil as say, WWEE, for instance. They're not out trying to enslave humanity or destroy major cities, after all. However, that fact not withstanding, they are the bad guys, and in the KP Universe, the bad guys always get their come-uppance. Now I'm not saying that it would ultimately come to anything so extreme for them. Probably just a long stint in Cell Block D is all they'd ultimately wind up with. But still, these thoughts on the subject of our favorite male/female outlaw duo have started a short stanza of poetry running through my head in a continuous loop. It's dark, (a lot darker than anything we'll see in this story most likely), but it sets a general tone which I suspect may play itself out at a later date... "They don't think they're too smart or desperate, for they know that the law always wins. They've been shot at before, but they do not ignore, that death is the wages of sin.
Some day they'll go down together, and they'll bury them side by side. To a few, it is grief, to the law, a relief, but it's death for Bonnie and Clyde.”Bonnie Parker - May 6, 1934 (Seventeen days before she and Clyde Barrow were gunned down outside of Sailes, Louisiana.)

Points well taken. And a comeuppance of sorts IS coming. Team Probable is not invincible, just as Team Possible is not infallible....

LOL You don't even want to know what I though when I saw the name of this thread. Rhonda's my name IRL. Didn't know if you knew that or not. But still I'm glad I looked. As always, your drawings are amazing. ;D

You're probably refering to loyalty? Although other words could be used under the same description you use.

Yes - the answer was indeed "Loyalty", which will be the theme of the next chapter! True though, other words COULD be the answer, like 'hair'. But loyalty is the cliche answer about cats, whose loyalty only seems to last as long as mealtime. The riddles have been tough to come up with. If I made them to hard, people complained they were too tough, but if I made them too easy, they weren't challenging. The real riddle is striking a balance between the two....
