I wonder if we're going to see more of James Possible acting comicly overprotective of Kim. Sure, I know he was tickled pink (but not too pink) over their first 'date' but he's acted like Kim's 14 throughout most of the series (instead of 15-17) when it comes to anything not directly related to missions.

Yeah. It should be interesting to see him next season. I kinda wonder how he feels about Kim and Ron going commando. Mrs. P would be thrilled, James would be... iffy about that.

Huh? What's your def. of 'comando?' To me that means not wearing underwear and THAT just ain't something Ron wants to do under any circumstances!

LOL. Sorry. I should have used the regular word that I was thinking of.
Here is my rephrasing... I kinda wonder how he feels about Kim and Ron doing it.
Why the heck am I using euphemisms?

lol I was confused by the commando thing too lol, both wearing lack of underwear lol As for your definition of commando, I think Mr Dr Possible would act like any other father would lol Mad as hell. Except it's actually in Dr P's power to do something about it - bring on the black hole! Who knows, Ron may get transported into our universe as a result I call dibs.

I hope we see at least some 'overprotective father' humor next season, it could be a laugh riot!

Count on Mr. Dr. P to buy an armorys worth of guns... and a home black-hole probe launcher. With two seats.

I think we all saw how MrDrP (and MrsDrP as well) reacted to this in Emotion Sickness.

Mr. Dr. P.: Ronald, hop in the car. Ron: *Getting into the car.* We going for a ride, Mr. Dr. P.? Mr. Dr. P.: Yeah. Buckle up.
Mr. Dr. P.: *Pulls a Shotgun from underneath his seat.* Ron: *Gulp.* Mr. Dr. P.: You're looking nervous, Ron. Ron: ... Mr. Dr. P.: I don't know why. I'm just cleaning my gun... Ron: While driving!! Mr. Dr. P.: Yeah. I guess it'd be pretty easy for us to have an unfortunate accident, wouldn't it? Ron: Uh-huh... Mr. Dr. P.: You've got nothing to be nervous about Ron. *Puts it away.* After all, you've got nothing to hide. Ron: ... ... Are we still in Middleton? Mr. Dr. P.: You know, as a father, I am feriously devoted to the safety of my children. You know, I once sent Drakken into a artifically created worm-hole to a distant region of deep space for saying something... innappropriate about my Kimmy-cub? Of course, then he came back with a fleet of mutant aliens bent on conquering the Earth, but you get my point. Ron: No. Mr. Dr. P.: You see, Ron, if ever someone tries to do something to my daughter that can hurt her, I step in and stop it. It's a father's sacred duty. Ron: Like it's the Mother's responsibility to push-away any girl after her son? Mr. Dr. P.: Actually, they go after guys, too. And don't interupt... Say, do you suppose that anyone lives out here? Ron: Why? Mr. Dr. P.: Oh, just wondering about witnesses- Uh, to possible alien abductions. Ron: ... *Breaking down.* I just wanna go home! *Sobbing.* Mr. Dr. P.: You know, crying isn't very manly. Ah, here we are. *Pulls up to an old river dock.* Do you know what happens now? Ron: PLEASE!! I PROMISE NEVER TO HAVE SEX WITH KIM AGAIN!! Mr. Dr. P.: Wha- whoa, wait, what? WTF?! Ron: Uh... Mr. Dr. P.: I WAS JUST GOING TO GIVE YOU MY SHOT GUN TO PROTECT MY KIMMY-CUB WITH!! Ron: DON'T KILL ME!!

Pretty much I agree that Mr. P will display *some* protectiveness but he would react much like did in "ES". He wants his Kimmie-cub to be happy and if Ronald do anything to upset her, etc., it's the 'Black Hole Deep'. ;D To be honest, I think he approves of Ron, given he trusts Ron due that Ron and Kim grew up together. Ron is sort-of like son to him, and I can see he would approve of relationship between Ron and Kim.

Even as far back as MNiS, he says 'no boys, ever' just feet from Ronald. Ron's excluded from that stricture.
Approval aside, he's going to be keeping an eye on those two!

Dr. Possible does seem to be the spying type, just look at show down at the crooked D; Dr. possible also has many resources at his disposal.

So, I bet he would actually push them into staying together.
