We have done Ron as a pilot, now it is Kim's turn to fly to either victory, or a fiery grave, well let's see! I hate to give it to the stiff arse Brits (no offence, but I kinda get annoyed you see epis before the Americans!) But the Tempest got my vote, great speed (I can keep up with a 262!), firepower, agility, acceleration, and Duribility! Heck I knew we kept the British as allies for some reason Feel free, I did American and Brittish fighters, so use other for other planes

Mustang! The fighter and the name fits her personality.

Mustang, specifically a P-51D! (polished aluminum, bubble canopy! The works!)

The W.A.S.P.s ferried just about everything for the AAF, but lots and lots of multiengine, so I voted for the B-17. I wouldn't wish the TBD on anyone, those that didn't get shot down at Midway were mostly used as target tugs in the VC (composite) squadrons. I think the Navy CASU (Carrier Air Service Units) were principally responsible for moving Navy planes rather than utilizing the WASP pilots.

I've gotta concur with the group and go with the P-51/D! It just fits Kim's personality so well. Besides, I really can't for the life of me see her flying a bomber. (And you know she's gonna be flying the thing! Sitting back in a turret somewhere taking orders? SO not gonna happen!) Flying a big, slow, lumbering beast, being forced to stay in formation, flying pre-set headings and speeds into bombing runs? She'd be looking to bail out five minutes after take-off. Bombers or transports would drive a person like her batty. BTW, just where is there a thread for what plane Ron would be flying? I've got some pretty well-defined opinions on his aircraft of choice as well.

Here's an alternative - she slips behind enemy lines and makes off with an experimental German super-fighter!

Here's an alternative - she slips behind enemy lines and makes off with an experimental Ger man super-fighter! Or a Nacospeak 262 like James Chase did in Secret Weapons over Normandy? I'd see that! The natzies would be like 'WTF?! That's a girl flying that jet?! How can girls fly jets?!' Then Kim would probobly open the powerful cannons up on the guys...

The Me-262 Schwalbe packed quad 30mm, so yeah, Kim could certainly do some serious damage in that sitch. I just dug this pic out of my Photobucket account. Scope out the size of those cannon ports in the nose. Like... DANG, man!

Or that space bomber Germany tried to develop?
Maybe Dementor's father tried to steal it/develop it!

Ah yes... Eugen Sanger's antipodal bomber, aka the "Silverbird." It never got past the wind-tunnel testing phase, but this thing was a good twenty years ahead of even current technology. Some of its design elements were even adapted by Rockwell International for use in the Space Shuttle. Also, I renew my previous question as to the existance of a thread discussing what Ron would be flying in WW2. If not, could somebody create one? Please and thank-you!

The Ger mans were ahead of their times when it came to aero and space technologies. If this plane had say been in production ealier in the war, it might have made a huge difference for the Ger mans when it came to air superiority.

Where the pilots in WWII (or any other war) even allowed to chose their planes? Otherwise the answer to all of these polls is "Whatever they gave him/her".

It would have been a cool spaceplane. Yet this plane was beyond the Ger mans to make. It was way ahead of their times.

What about the flying saucer that is rumoured to be created by the germans the V-7 or the Hanneburg-I(I think that what it is called). It seems there are proof that it does exist although it got destroyed by G.Patton when they found secret weapons in a factory at i cant remember the name.Although until today it remains a myth.

If I can recall,
Trollis once made a rendering or screenshot, from the game IL2 Sturmovik, of Kim flying a P51D mustang.
It seriously looked awesome
So it looks like the Mustang is suitable for Kim.

Then, as now, any cjoice would depend on class standing in flight school. Even that isn't a guarantee since it is considered a good thing to cross pollinate the less popular communities with high performers.

The Natzies would sure be on the run back to Berlin faster if KP was on the front lines! Heck it may not of even gotten past 1943 for the year if Kim was up their blowing stuff up!
