omg!! I stay away from this forum for a couple of weeks.... and find things like this when I come back!!!In the first place...the thing that excites me the most, it that all of you are talking about a 4th season in the most vehement way ever! and I didn't know anything about that chat with the creators of KP...but it's really cool! it looks like they're seriously considering the possibility of a 4th season... of course...its kind of sad to see that they don't have in mind the idea of Drakken and Shego as a couple...but after reading some of the things that you have said...I think you guys are alright... It would be really hard to make them have a real marrige relationship without taking away the villainy thing... I will be happy as long as they stay together...and as long as the creators of the show slid delicious D/S hints into the series!!!... then we, the fans, can make up all the fanfiction we want... And... Cloudmonet...you're my hero!I agree with all the statements that you made...that's a very good approach to the show...and you truly understand the D/S "dynamic"! I also think that Shego is Drakken's girlfriend already

The question "Will there be a season four?" was ruled out-of-bounds for this particular chat. Why would anyone care if the answer was gonna be no? But cartoons take a long time to get together, and even if they're working on new Kim episodes right now, it'll be at least a year before we see them, and you know how corporate secrecy goes and all that. Like the true nature of Drakken and Shego's relationship, the true status of the Kim Possible show will remain in the shadows for awhile.

=3 Yey D/S. Like i said before.. even if they don't have Drakken and Shego "shown together all couple-ish like", and still think there is some.. unseen things going on as for a fourth season.. WHO KNOWS! I hope..... In fact, there are still 2 eppys to be realeased for Washington, Gorilla Fist and The MoleRat Will Be CGI (already seen Gorilla Fist on the StD DVD)... and Gorilla Fist airs this coming up friday.. so, The MoleRat Will be CGI won't air till like.. January?? so.. who knows what may happen during the summer/fal of 2006 And... Eisner's gone!! *dances* . . . Also.. i sorta wish I didn't askj that question to Mark and Steve...... not the answer I was hoping for.

Well, before the DC marathon (airing next week) was announced, someone called Disney and asked on the status of KP. The Disney rep said that it has been renewed for another season and a marathon ending with Gorilla Fist was airing November 18th. Now we know that the marathon is real... why shouldn't the season four thing be?

Sounds good to me, but you know how many times someone's said this before and it hasn't panned out, so let's not get too excited yet. Logically, signs have been pointing toward renewal for awhile:
1) Repositioning of the "So the Drama" prom from Senior Prom (Steve Lotor's remarks circa Jan 2005) to Junior Prom (So the Drama premier chat, April 8, 2005). It's easier to continue if they're still at Middleton High for at least awhile.
2) Eisner's retirement. Perhaps Eisner's policy also retired.
3) 65 episodes? What 65 episodes? There's no such policy and never was! (Or so they say now...)
4) A few weeks after Toon Disney shows Kim Possible episodes in production-order blocks once or twice a week, Disney Channel itself begins doing the same thing.
5) The fantastic delays in dribbling out the last bits of season 3.
6) Repeated appearances of Mark, Bob, Steve, John Dimaggio, etc, discussing KP.
7) "Will there be a season 4 and when?" made a forbidden question in the most recent online chat.
This doesn't add up to absolute proof of anything, but-- I'd call the signs more favorable than not. Still, the official announcement, whenever Disney chooses to make it, will be loud, colorful, and obvious, with preview clips of exciting action and bits of romance. And probably, Disney's marketing folks being what they are, this will start happening an appropriate lead time before the first episode, or maybe opening movie, of season four. They wouldn't want to do it too far in advance, because it'd take attention away from other stuff they're trying to promote.
Considering how long it takes to make cartoons, I counsel patience.

Well obviously if something like that happens again there has to be a plan or something.
