Super Friends? Man he's a direct clone of Spider-man's enemy The Vulture. Only in theme.

I like minor villains like him. I even liked him more than Zorpox

Oh, I love Avarius!
He's funny and a great villian!
I even came up with a weird backstory for him.
In another show called Dave the Barbarian, there was a recurring guest character called Ned Frischman. To understand the connection I'm making here, the voice actor for Avarius also voiced Ned, using the exact same voice.
In Ned's backstory, it was said that he is a underappreciated factory worker obsessed with conquering the world. He's a geek type, slightly similar in appearance to Avarius.
So, my fanstory concept is that Avarius is really Ned Frischman, just after he went bigger and badder, moving from lame schemes into the big leagues of supervilliany.
Slightly off-topic, I wonder what the biggest flamingo Ron saw is, if Avarius' Flamingo of Doom, is the second biggest one.
And an offbeat joke, eccentric Cuddle Buddy collector Paisley had the Flamingoat of Doom made, both to use it as a lawn ornament and protect his Cuddle Buddy collection.
