Shego's parents were hippies and liked to experiment with funky names. i agree with this theory, unless her parents were super heros themselves or something...

Nah, Gertrude is Mrs. Possible, remember? Still it'd be nice to have the name thing solved solidly. I mean, for Drakken we even got a middle name.

Yes, aren't we Drakken fans lucky? ;D I'm goin' with the hippy theory. They were a family of hippies named Go and decided to name their kids She, He, Me, and We. And by the way I LOVE your new sig, VS! Those plushies are adorable!

I actually think the writters were smart on this one. I mean, the fact that both Wegos are named "Wego", or even the fact that all Team Go members have those name, could be interpretated as a hint that those aren't their real names. That way, they keep the fans intrigated, making them speculate whatever they can out of it. That's a way to keep the fans interested in the show.

I dunno, is it a hippie thing to name two of your kids the same thing? The only way I can see that making sense is if he was originally one person. It'd get confusing.

Interesting theory - they do have the ability to multiply, so maybe Wego prime made a copy of himself and liked having a companion, so never bothered to get rid of it. This kinda reminds me of the movie The Prestige. Whenever Wego makes copies and some of them disappears - is it always the original two who remain? Is it possible that Wego never really knows if HE will be the one to stay? Is Wego plagued by the idea that he may indeed be a multiple and not an original Wego? Then again, does it truly matter, if each Wego (at the time of replication) has essentially the same identity and set of memories?

I think it's safe to say the original two Wegos always remain. It's probably programmed into their power or something.

I think Mrs. Dr. Possible's name is Ann (or Anne). "Go" is almost definitely Shego's last name, if not part of it. Quotes: From "Rewriting History"- Kim: Wow! So Drakken and Shego had ancestors there.- Assuming Kim and Ron's mutual dream was fact or grounded in it, this proves the Shego-like ancestor in the flashbacks was Shego's ancestor. Lipsky: Toss up the Illuminator, Miss Go.- "Go" is apparently Shego's ancestor's last name. From "Stop Team Go"- Kim: Ron, that's Shego! Ron: No, it's MISS Go. See, it says so on the board!- As a good guy, Shego calls herself "Miss Go" once again. From "Go Team Go"- Hego: You know of my sister? Ron: Oh, yeah, we're on a first-name basis. Actually, does she have a last name?- Yes, the KP characters have the same dilemma we do. Hego doesn't answer Ron.
