[glow=blue,2,300](Concerning the ASiT discussion) I think it would be impossible for them to see their future selves. By going into the timestream they're removing themselves from whatever is ahead, until they return to their proper time. Ow, Brain pain! I loathe time travel, let's leave it at that.[/glow]

That, my friend, is what's know as a paradox. I hate them, too. And I know it is impossible for them to see their future selves, but still...
Hey, I wonder if that one rule of time about 'two of the same person cannot exist in the same time frame' applied in the movie? Wait, wasn't this about StD?

Yeah, but I kinda get the feeling that the movie didn't show any signs of Kim 'liking' liking Ron until the end. After Kim's date betrayed her and melted.

Watch Kim's face! In "So the Drama," like the whole series, Ron talks about his inner feelings, but Kim shows hers through facial expressions and physical gestures. Kim knows how much she's hurting Ron by going with Eric, she's trying to deny this to herself, to convince herself that Ron will get over this. What really shows on her face is how much hurting Ron hurts Kim. Through her whole relationship with Erik, Kim includes Ron. Kim and Eric sit next to each other at Bueno Nacho, Ron's across the table. Kim invites Erik to dinner with her family, Ron's invited too. "Erik's my boyfriend, Ron's my best friend, we're all cool together," is what she seems to want, but over and over, Ron blatently doesn't accept his role. Kim pretends to ignore this while Erik's there, but whenever she's alone with Ron (and not in battle) the turmoil shows. She's not sure she made the right choice. Watch the treehouse scene. She trying to hide her distress from Ron, realizing her feelings for him too late. So when Erik turns out to be working for Drakken, and Ron makes a series of statements that can only be interpreted as "I'm the guy for you," what was complex and uncomfortable suddenly feels easy and natural. The question then becomes what's keeping Kim away from Ron before Erik's appearance? The movie lays it out: 1) Ron's immaturity, as Kim sees it (still filled with childlike wonder), and 2) Bonnie's "food chain." Erik appears, relatively good looking, with a personality programmed to be something between Ron and Josh Mankey, and a definite obvious romantic interest in Kim. Where Erik would fit in Bonnie's conception of high-school social hierarchy is uncertain, but Monique's reactions suggest that other girls beside Kim would like what they see. Bonnie's having a frustrating night at the prom. First Kim's dating an acceptable guy, having fun dancing, while Bonnie and Brick sit out every dance. Then Kim comes back, from whatever she does that she thinks is so important, hand in hand with that froob Ron, and everyone applauds! This wasn't how it was supposed to go down! Worst of all, it looks like Kim and Ron are really in love. Brick and Bonnie aren't getting along that well. Brick just stubbornly refuses to see how evil Kim is. Between the psychological warfare waged by Bonnie, and Drakken's scheme with Erik, Kim's pretty passively following the emotional flow of least resistance. It isn't till Erik turns on Kim that she finally shakes off this double whammy, and then only when Ron tells her what she needs to do. 1) It's payback time, clobber Drakken. 2) I'm the guy for you. And Kim does exactly this, not because she's into following orders, but because she knows Ron's right. And then Kim's really angry, and gives Drakken and Shego way worse physical punishment than usual. Message: you don't mess with Kim Possible's private life! If I were Bonnie, I wouldn't pick any arguments with Kim right away, or make any more derogatory remarks about her boyfriend. Not that I really think Kim would clobber Bonnie, but... it just wouldn't be prudent.

Think I mentioned this before, cloudmonet, but you rock. The moment when Ron finally get up (barely) enough nerve to prod Kim into thinking that way about him is incredibly sweet. He's so nervous, so afraid to do it. I've watched that scene so many times in regular speed and slow-mo and it sends my heart fluttering each time. God I love this movie!

Welcome KR FOREVER. To answer your questions, scroll to the top of the page, click "profile" and you'll get a window with little blocks to fill in with your sex, website, signiature phrase, whatever. The avatar's (mine is a cartoon self-portrait) a 100x100 pixel jpeg file. This has to be posted on a server somewhere or other on the internet. There's a number of picture-hosting sites people use. Then you put the complete URL for the image where it says "I have my own image" and there it is. To stick an image inside a post, like I did with the Kim and Ron pose above, just put the complete URL of that picture between a and [/img ] tags (without spaces).

Hey! I just realized something. Maybe we should stop calling So the Drama 'StD'. I just got up from a nap (don't ask why I was asleep, it isn't a pretty story) and thought someone was talking about AIDS.

"I did and it wont work! HELP!!!!"
Oooh, I'm not sure what to tell you then, because that's how I did mine. Are all the little check boxes checked that should be? Maybe someone who's been here longer than me might be able to figure out why it's not working. Sorry. I tried.

Did anyone else notice that the series of KP ended the same way it began? I mean this in a general aspect, and when I say beginning I mean "Crush", the one that was aired first.
Although this is probably the second time Kim has come across Drakken and Shego, they do act like it's their first meeting, to an extent. Okay, when StD starts it involves the Nakasumi Toy company's parade. Kim was there to protect Nakasumi. In "Crush", they were trying to save the factory of this company. In StD they ended up having to fight RED robots, the Diablos, and in "Crush" they had to fight the assembly line that had turned into a giant RED robot.
Next, "Crush" more or less set up how Ron and Kim treat one another and feel about each other. In StD, their feelings are turned into those of "love"(I don' know what we could consider this, I think it's love.) as we all know. But what "Crush" and StD also showed was that they both have issues with their feelings toward one another(which it perfectly alright). Another element in this is Bonnie, she teases Kim about prom, in StD, the same way she teased her about Josh Mankey in "Crush". (She also mentions the food chain.) Bonnie is also the reason Kim is detered from asking Mankey to the dance 'till the end of the episode. In StD, she didn't do the asking, but she did make Bonnie eat her words twice now. In "Crush" Bonnie said "Josh has rejected girls higher on the food chain than you.", and in StD, she makes a mockery of Ron, saying that he's not worthy boyfriend material, but at the end we see that everyone actually has been waiting for them to hook up.
Another thing, "Crush" showed Drakken as incompetent, but StD showed that he finally was capable of coming up with a plan that was near fool-proof. Basically in all of this, throughout the whole series, there was a really big plan. Obvious right? Well, yeah, but no one mentioned it so I thought I'd bring it up. And I thought it was cool that they pretty much began the series and ended it the same way, with different twists along the way and stuff was cleared up too. To me, StD was basically saying, "Hey, we've had all of these problems with ourselves(refering to KP & RS) and others but we're still gonna be okay(from now on)." Kinda like a comfort to the viewers that, now things are going to be different, but the viewers don't need to worry. Nice closer if you ask me.
And that's another thing, the music. When "Crush" ended, it had the song, "I'm Ready", which was just to show that this story had only begun and that it was going to be a wild ride. But StD(the TV version), ends with "Could it Be", and the creators leave the last line as ...and today is the start of the rest of out lives, I can see it in your eyes... on purpose just to close up all the loose ends, which StD did.
I love a happy ending. I actually thought that they were going to start showing wedding pictures after that line or something. lol. Anybody else notice more connections?

"Tick Tick Tick," "Crush," "Ron the Man," "Gorilla Fist," and "So the Drama" were episodes actually written by Schooley and McCorkle, so one might expect to find greater parallels between these. That said, I'm not sure what to make of Drakken's color choices for evil robots. We have the Bebes, the "Car Trouble" robot army, the giant flying robot from "Go Team Go," and I'm trying to think what else. Drakken's henchmen and synthodrones wear red uniforms, and Drakken's lairs tend to have either dark red or light blue walls. Come to think of it, diablos are dark red and Bebes are light blue (mostly). Maybe this just reflects Drakken's (or the KP design team's) color favorites.
Wedding pictures? I'm an optomist. Let's save those for the thrilling movie which ends Kim Possible: the college years. Really! Why did they change So the Drama's prom from senior to junior prom? (Check variant remarks by directors and creators between January and April.) To make it simpler to continue. No on 65, right? Wedding pictures would spoil a lot of potential plot between "So the Drama" and a Stoppable/Possible wedding.

Sure I'd like to be optimistic about these things, and normally write "NO ON 65" where ever I go, but they have to draw the line somewhere. I just figured it would be interesting to pull up the connects ya know.

Wow you are from Crazy town...Lol. Try Freewebs.com. It's best for some pages and it doesn't have any ad stuff. Also, if you have any more questions you can just PM me, I've made quite a few webpages from scratch so, I've been there. I just remembered something else that matched up in StD. When Ron first meets Eric and takes him into the cafeteria, they see Kim. Of course they goofed on the color of her shirt making it that blueish green teal-like color, simliar if not identical to the color of Eric's shirt. But when it changes back it's red like Ron's shirt. Connection? Maybe...or I'm just overly analytical. ;D
