At the start I was with Kim on the "she's five years older than him," then they actually showed it and I was laughing too hard to remember to go ew.

Okay, assuming she is 18 (decent assumption for a high school senior), that means Wade is 13. Now while it's unorthodox, it's not "wrongsick".
Now in 5 years, she'll be taking that as a compliment (she'll be 23 and "some 18 year old hunk" is chasing her), we know that Wade hits a growth spurt sometime in the future and he has the potential to fill out and become pretty beefy. Who knows what's possible, right now if I were Wade, I'd just keep my hormones under control (to quote Qui-Gon Jinn, "Patience, my blue friend.")... and find ear plugs.

A good episode all round.
Did anyone notice the Trek reference around the middle?

Funny episode, got weird with the Wade Monique thing. A little too strange for me. Other than that it was a great episode, only thing that could've made it better was the K/R kiss there at the end actually happening.

Cupid effect was the best of tonight's episodes, I loved it when Ron was trying to hide what Wade had done from Kim

I can sum this up in one line: Cupid obvioulsy said "screw the bow and arrow" and went a for a battleship lobbing 2 and a half ton love shells. ...Don't judge me. Anyways, 5/5. Wade using his "bun warmer" on Monique was priceless every time. Best part, though, was Mr. B reading Ron's "biology essay". K/R front: Disney, in the future, interuputed kisses and and implied make-out sessions in PARIS, of all places, are not going to cut. And this was a Valentine's episode! Screw this up again, and I'm going to have to resort to making fun of you using my Monty Python jokes.

The other three episodes were excellent, but this one was absolutely off the charts. It's a great companion to Emotion Sickness. Sometimes these episodes are so fast-paced and inventive and ingenious that it's hard to believe they're only about twenty-three minutes long. They're just so packed full of great stuff. Moments that come to mind -- "Shouldn't I just be myself?" "That only works in cartoons." "Paris, the city of lice." The x-treme poetry of Junior's lyrics -- "On the road to love...you must pay the toll...exact change is required....."

This episode was great, and I am still torn between this and Trading Faces as the best of the new ones. Didnt bother me that Wade went a little unethical in his pursuit of Monique. It was great to see Wade in the flesh and the main character in an episode. Hey, all's fair in love and war? Somewhat disturbed with Kim pawing Junior after she lost her earplugs and was zapped by the "love ray". Kim did look hot while doing it....but I would have gone "BOO-YAH" if she pawed Ron like that I liked all the new eps...but this and Changing Faces were the better ones

Okay, since it's officially came out, I'm going to give you the exclusive of what will be posted on my webpage (link in my profile) later today. My official review of The Cupid Effect. Spoiler warning and stuff, cuz I go all crazy and stuff... Rating: 5/5 16 of my predictions correct, 121 of the Predictions total (including ones that are double) This episode is more of Monique and Wade episode. But that doesn’t deter from it’s totally kick ass awesomness! Monique is wanting to get herself a man… and Wade has a crush on her! And, it’s Valentine’s Day… and apparently Dental Health Month as well. I’ll be sure to brush my teeth more now that I know. And, SSJ is doing stuff, yanno. Great Ron quote: “Holy cannoli! I have a girlfriend on Valentine’s Day!” And Kim’s Kimmunicator battery lasted for like 4 years. Good stuff. Haha. Yeah, a little trite moment but I thought that was uber coolness! It’s amazing how Wade has a crush on Monique (and I predicted it. I want my claim to the Internet, now!) and Ron want to set up Wade with Monique, but Wade’s 12 and Monique’s 17 (there was a direct reference to his age, as in he can’t drive for 4 more years and Monique being 5 years older than him, so yay!)You get to see Wade’s house (THE SHOCK! ), his mum, and Wade in person! It’s not as shocking as Team Impossible where it was SO FREAKING OFF GUARD! Great Wade quote: “I look like Lincoln!” Haha! Amazingly random Barkin quote that I love: “Aw, that’s a lovely thought. A-Plus Stoppable.” And, Ron gives Wade the idea to make a cupid’s arrow type thing to make Monique fall in love with Wade. And then, everybody goes to Paris! Not to Hilton, to France! Of course, everybody being Kim, Ron, Wade, and Monique… and Rufus of course. I loved that. Kim: “I thought you said the Eiffel Tower was in danger.” So random and Kim misreads it as romantic and Monique feels like backup! LOL. What a great episode. I loved that. I loved this episode. Ron: “Will tell them you’re fixing the French Internet!” That quote alone makes me wanna just roll my eyes and say, “WHAT THE funk, RON?!” I love it! LOVE. IT. And Wade’s dad is named Lontaine? Nice, lol. I got a huge kick out of SSS and SSJ acting like their delivering flowers to Wade’s mum from Wade’s dad. Haha. He even pretends to read a card that is really a parking violation for like 80 bucks. Not like it’s a huge dollar amount. He is a billionaire, dontcha know. I think that Raven, as much as I hate and despise her for That’s So Raven, she did a good job in this episode. I love it when Ron finds out what Wade did. He’s all, “Oh, Kim’s so gonna blame me!” What’s the matter, Ron? She not gonna let you get any? Haha. That would be so awesome. That bun warmer joke was positively amazing! I loved it. And then it’s The Sloth and Monique tags along for the mission to Spain (or wherever the Seniors are living) because she’s annoyed at Wade for him shooting the cupid ray at her and Kim wants to go on a mission and save the world. I do too! Kim: “Monique, don’t make me zap you again.” And then The GREATEST MOMENT OF ALL TIME IN KP HISTORY (aside from all of So The Drama!): RON AND WADE DRESS UP AS WOMEN! I’ve always wanted that and now I have it. That’s so bliss worthy! So, if Ron is a woman, does that make Kim a lesbian? Haha. I kid. And SSJ sings! It’s not that bad… it’s kinda hawt. Oh, I’m lying. It was bad. It’s a total cool mission, except when Kim crushes on SSJ for a bit. SSS: “Have you met my bodyguards Evil and Treachery?” And then the episode ends with saving the world (or at least the women of the world) and with a simple date with Kim and Ron at Bueno Nacho…and a botched kiss. What made this episode was the tag: Kim: “You’re weird.” Ron: “Kim!” Kim: “Shh. I like weird.” Oh, GAWD this episode and all the others were so darn sexy!

5/5 for me! I loved the K/R moments. And Ron forgot Valentine's Day! Although he did remember Dental Health Day or whatever that was again. I can't even remember little holidays like that. I even felt a little sorry for Monique, she got zapped like, what? 5 times in the ep. ;D

Hi. I'm a n00b, but I've been Kim fan since day 1. Obsessed Kim fan came around ES, but always loved the show. I give this episode 5/5. I loved it all around, but my favorite thing is that SSS's love poem is improvised around Khan's (also played by Ricardo Montalban) "He tasks me!" speech from Star Trek 2. I am LOVING the new season.

Loved it! < 3 It was great to see Wade in person, and his crush on Monique was sweet, though a tad disturbing at times. And when Ron gave Wade that love letter thingie, but he realized it was his homework, and they switched to his teacher (brain fart, forgot his name) reading the love letter, and he was all, "Aww, that is so sweet. A for you, Stoppable!" or something like that. xD I found it really funny.
Overall it was a great Valentine's episode, except for Kim and Ron's interrupted kiss at the end. NO FAIR! But I did love the ending: "Hey Ron!" "*surprised* Aaah!" "You're weird." "Kim.." "Ssh, I like weird." Very cute! -^^-

Well, with any luck, Kim and Ron will get to lock lips again without any interruptions in future episodes.
If they can kiss on the lips in "Emotion Sickness" without getting interrupted, then they can most certainly get away with it in other episodes as well.

Oh, and when Kim was under the love spell of Wade's device at the concert, and she was clinging to Jr., then Ron jumped on the stage where Kim and Jr. were and said, "Dude, gimme back my girlfriend!" It was funny and sweet at the same time! ;D
