Bzzzzzt.
Emotion Sickness cranks it to 11!
That's the episode that hooked me! (and made me spring for cable so I wouldn't have to wait for the local ABC station to run KP)

I gave it a "10" rating. This episode was tops for Kim Possible. "Emotion Sickness" beats it I suppose, but they're in the same league because it just doesn't get much better than this: fast-paced, lots of action, lots of comedy, lots of good character interaction and some nice shoutouts to previous episodes. There are probably more memorable lines in "Steal Wheels" than in any other episode I can think of. "Dude, you got a mullet growing back there, set it free, man!" "We're related." "Seriously?" (everyone) "Seriously!" I liked how Drakken's mom showed up again ("Mother's Day" was one of the funniest episodes). I really liked how Kim got left out and actually called a cheerleading practice just to get some company. "I was on a date!" "I'm grounded!" And Motor Ed & Drakken's plan was so wicked even Shego was disgusted. Stealing a kid's wheelchair? "I'm a BAD man, remember!" (I can see that line coming out when the idea was pitched. "Come on, he can't steal a wheelchair" "They're EVIL!") And of course, you have to love the interplay between Motor Ed & Shego, with Ed dissing women's driving skills and her blasting him.

It is my professional opinion that you have excellent taste! ;D

It was another example of excellent character interaction--not quite the level of "The Cupid Effect", but that is what makes an episode for me.

One of my favourite episodes from season 3...I think I must have watched it over a dozen times Right from the opening sequence, you can tell it's going to be an interesting episode with Kim all insecure about her night without Ron. Great episode for K/R development, and of course, it's always fun to see Kim slightly out-of-character ;D The Drakken/Motor Ed relation was also a nice addition. Everything about the episode was just perfect! 10!

My only gripe (and once you see it, you'll see why it's so minor) is that Kim's peasant shirt (RIP apparently) lost its laces.

All that "...and he's kicking me!" OMG, you wrote Emotion Sickness too!? Man...I really need to get out from under my rock But OKAY, you are DEFINITELY my hero now! ;D Lol, now that that's done with, I hope I didn't come off too fan-boyish. But honestly, you are one of my favourite writers, Mr. Swenlin! Do you write all the dialogue that goes on the episodes, too?

I love the "Kim, HE'S TRYING TO GET AWAY!" part before that plus "and you're surprised...?" after it - they're both some of my favorite lines, along with "Uh, Kim, THEY'RE BAD MEN!". This is such a shippy, funny, and action-packed episode that I give it a 10, and in terms of rewatchability, I might even put it above "Emotion Sickness" since so many of the lines make me bust out laughing the second I hear them.

The amount of dialogue that belongs to the writer varies from script to script. The story editor gets in there and does a pass which can be light or heavy. And then Mark & Bob (producers) do THEIR pass. So it really depends. You can download my draft of Steal Wheels at www.swenlin.com and then compare to the final episode as one example. I do know the whole "seriously" exchange at Planet Tools was all mine - I'm really proud of that bit. Cracks me up every time. But then in Emotion Sickness, the bit where Drakken loses to Ron's "superior dibs calling" is all story editor Thomas Hart - that's one of my favorite bits in that episode and it isn't even mine!

You Nightcrawler, me Kitty! (I know, DOM alert, except I was exactly her age when her character was introduced in the comic)

I liked your take on the whole Bueno Nacho food fight thing, hehe. And Monique was supposed to join in, too?
