OVERALL RS.NET CLOTHES MINDED REVIEW: 4.74/5Clothes Minded has just aired on Disney Channel as I typed this (around 8:30 I believe). Thus, the link to the episode will probably be non-existent now. So, anyway, if you've seen it, send us your thoughts! It was a normal day in Middleton. Drakken and Shego are up to no good (I thought Shego quit working for him...), and Kim and Ron have to save the day. Only problem is, Kim suffers a wardrobe malfunction on her mission and has to go shopping for a new set of clothes. It becomes more of a problem when stores around the nation discontinues Kim's mission style! Now she has to come up with a new look while foiling Drakken's latest scheme. Add the pressure of applying to college, and Kim really has her work cut out for her this time. I'm thoroughly convinced that the KP staff are anime fans by heart. Heck, Steve Loter is a huge fan of Lupin the 3rd. I only say this because of Kim's array of costumes she is forced to endure. They were very hilarious to look at, more specifically the Gundam-type suit she wears at one point! Even though I enjoyed all the alternate costumes, I did kinda feel sorry for Kim for having to endure such embarrassment. Kinda. I was also rather intrigued to see the whole college ordeal between Kim and Ron. I say that because while we know Kim will be accepted somewhere, Ron may have a difficult time. But at least he's trying, and that counts for something. I guess this is what the VIPs mentioned when they said that his character will be improving over the season. I've only got oen minor gripe, though. I thought that Shego had stop working for Drakken. When did they get back together to work on this new mission? I'd like to know how and when that happened. I had thought that in Mad Dogs and Aliens saw that they would not be working together again for quite some time. Oh well, my gripes won't stop me from giving this a great score. I do like Kim's new look (though I'm sure it'll get some time to get used to), and this is a KP episode with a lot of classic elements. May not be as good as Mad Dogs & Aliens or Ill-Suited, but I still enjoyed it. My Review Score: 5/5

First Post: Can anybody to say if there's some sweet moment in this episode between Kim and Ron?. From the spoilers of "Disney Adventures Magazine", it looks like Ron tricks the "Fashionistas" to create Kim's new look. So I'm thinking that maybe Kim thanks him kissing him in the mouth or something. I'm right?. And what Drakken and Shego said when they know the fact that Kim and Ron are a couple?. Second Post: The solicitudes for Colleges from all over the world should be for Kim's heroic missions saving the world so many times. I thought that, if Kim accepts the offer of going to the College of another country... Then that country would be Japan!!. And Ron could go perfectly with her!!!. Why?, the answer is evident: Yamanouchi. Think it: Study on College for the day and secret Ninja training at night. It sounds cool, right?. By the way, I'm not sure, but I heard that at the end of the episode, Kim follows an advice of Drakken about the College. Can somebody confirm me if that is true?. And if it's true, which is the advice that Drakken gives her?.

I was seriously hoping that TPTB would give us an episode or at least a mention of the headaches that exist in applying for colleges, and I must say, I am very must impressed. Awesome job guys!
I realize that Mr. Dr. Possible and the tweebs were trying to help, but yeah, I have to agree with Drakken and Shego on them. What is that getup?
Not too much in the way of K/R moments, other than them both at various times saying "Yeah, I'm going to have to keep you around," which is cute, and then ofcourse Ron at the end trying to find a way to keep him and Kim together. Very sweet.
I'll write more as I continue watching it for the third time.

I had thought that in Mad Dogs and Aliens saw that they would not be working together again for quite some time. Shego never once said she quit working for Drakken in Mad Dogs and Aliens, she only said she was on vacation from him at the moment. That would probably imply that she's still with him, and was just taking a break. On another note, I expected this to happen: to see the two reunited with no explanation. Shows like KP do this quite often.

I thought this episode was better than "Grandie Size Me", Kim was unusal more comedic with different suites.
But on at least two occasions Kim's outfit let her down, Drakken and Shego had a chance to finish Kim off as she was helpless, but typical villains, let the hero live, only to beat you later on.

I thought that she had quit from him what from being broken out of prison twice and hearing rumors that she'll be going solo on missions. Well, doesn't matter, really. I'm just glad, overall, that they were back together this episode.

As to the episode... for some reason, I can't get it to start on my computer. The DC commercial plays and then the video goes dead. No loading or anything. What gives?

The first scene was ok. Not much kim & ron. Ron getting hit with the hot steamy was hilarious though. I loved ron talking to mrs dr p.
I loved the scene with Ron, Wade, and The Tweebs trying to talk to kim.
I loved when Ron took Kim to try on outfits. That was HOT! I loved Kims "Im going to have to keep you around" Comment. So Sweet.
I loved the "My Lady and I" comment and Ron Holding Kim Tightly!
I loved when in Kims room Ron states "I think I'll keep you around"
I loved when kim said "Waiting for my Boyfriend" at Bueno Nacho.
When Shego said "You're Boyfriend" was great too.
Kim saying "Not when Ron Needs Me" was great also.
Yeah and Ron saying "I need to send out more Applications" and Kim Agreeing was sweet to. It was lkie i have to be where my girlfriends at. ;D
I give it a 4/5. Not that many Ron/Kim moments but I loved that there were a ton of refrences to there relationship.

5/5 Squared on this eppie for me! CHOCK full of the old KP goodness that got me hooked on the show in the first place.
LOTS of laughs in this one, and everybody concerned is SOOO in character here that it brought a little mist to my eye (and no, it's NOT my finger).
The new mission clothes look great, and the tribulations that Kimmie has to go through to finally get the new design are hilarious and totally believable.
Good old Rufus... seems the ray that he got blasted with in 'Naked Genius' hasn't totally worn off yet, huh?
***DOM ALERT***
I was wondering if Kim was fully clothed when she covered herself with that purple goop...
HMMMM. It looked a little TOO form-fitting in the scene where we see her covered in the stuff, LOL!

what about the part where ron was captured? what could have happened if kim had come in her normal outfit and had been knocked out by the bat and captured?

*TAPS MIC* Is this think on? I just wanted to say...
Drakken and Shego are working together once again, I KNEW IT! The winning best team-up is back! In the famous words of Phil Ken Sebben... HA! HA!
Just when I was getting worried that Drakken was going to turn a useless villain and that the writers had no more cunning plans for him to employ, my worries are proven wrong. Judging by the screenshots it looks like Drakken's got game with a plan that wreaks havoc around the globe. THIS is what I wanted to see. Drakken as the mad scientist behind the Diablo's attack and not just as a has-been. And the expressions of the villains are simply great.
I can't wait to see it in the place that is a series of tubes you can use.

The pants are a little too 'bell bottomy' for my taste. (People can call 'em 'flares' all they want - they're still bell bottom pants. No matter how thin ya slice it, it's still baloney.) And the shorter sleeves don't do much for me either - not because of the way they look, but because I don't think they'd be much good as field clothing. There's a reason people wear longer sleeves in the jungle, the arctic, the desert and in any hostile climate. Thank goodness it's a cartoon, otherwise she'd come back from every mission with her arms covered in a spiderweb of scratches.
Beyond that, the episode itself was great - smart and funny. Plus it was nice to see Drakken back in action. Though I was puzzled by the unexplained reconciliation between him and Shego. Still, they had their old mojo workin' pretty good.
Leaves me to wonder - what WOULD Kim study in college? Granted most people don't figure out what they want to study until a year or so AFTER they start college (and sometimes not even then). But Kim seems to have a leveller head than the average teen. Gives me some ideas for a fanfiction in which she finds herself wondering about her future and what she ultimately wants to do for a living. She could blow off chores, classes and other things as a teenager with her parents footing the bills and her friends covering for her, but she's growing up now, and in real life, a boss isn't gonna take that kind of behavior.
Still, great episode!
