OVERALL RS.NET BIG BOTHER REVIEW: 4.82/5Well, the episode has been taken off the website, and due to scheduling errors on Saturday, Big Bother SHOULD air this Saturday, April 7th. Just one more week for you television viewers, so remember, patience is a virtue. Oh, and to clarify it for the FINAL TIME, it's BIG BOTHER, not BROTHER! Thank you. As per past Season 4 episodes, this thread will have spoilers, so if you're waiting till Saturday to see Big Bother, stop reading RIGHT NOW. And as always, stay on topic the episode being discussed. Remember Home Ec, where you might've had that assignment where you had to take care of your own 'baby?' Well, I went through that, and now so does Ron (heh, at least my kid wasn't a bag of flour). His problems soon increase when he finds out that he has a new member in his family: his adopted baby sister, Hana Stoppable! As if that weren't enough, he and Kim have to deal with Monkey Fist's new insidious plot in Yamanouchi, Japan. Hmmm, Yamanouchi, eh? Well, at least Yori will be some assistance to the dynamic duo while confronting the monkey-man. Now, I wonder how she'll take the news that Kim and Ron are a couple? Well, I was afraid I'd miss the episode (since it was put up while I was at work! ). But after many trials and tribulations, I was able to see it. Overall, a very good episode, but, in my opinion, not overly perfect. The pluses: We get to see Yori in action again, which is fantastic news for the Yori fans here. I'm quite curious on how what they'll think of Yori when she takes the news that Ron's dating Kim? And we go back to seeing Monkey Fist in action again. Among the over big villains I've missed (now I'm waiting for Killigan to have a little screen time). And, I know I haven't mentioned it before (or have I?) but Hana is way too adorable for her own good. How dare Ron treat her as a threat! Well, at least Ron's doing quite a bit of maturing (I'd like to see him fight without Hana or some flour in tow). Now for the few bad things, only a couple gripes though that kept it from getting a perfect score. First of all, is Yori becoming a little, oh I don't know, two-dimensional? I mean she took Ron's news quite well, or TOO well in my opinion. And I really wanted to see a little bit more Ron/Yori moments (I don't mean that as a shipping!). From what I remember of the GARGOYLES thread, t I expected Ron to be a little more dramatic about his confession to Yori. I would've like to see more humor in that. Ahh, well, guess you can't have everything you want. All in all, as I said, a very good episode, but far from perfection that was seen in past episodes. I'm beginning to see the notion that any mention of Yamanouchi, Japan, Yori, or Monkey Fist, will be a pretty serious episode when compared to others. I'm sure that my mind might change once 'Oh, No! Yono!' airs. My review score: 4/5.

I'll have to watch it again, and brush up on my Latin, but how many Sacky's did Ron go through?
And did anyone notice that quick line where Kim told Yori that she and Ron needed to "spend some time together," only for them to cut to them being back at Ron's house?

5/5. This was a complete gem for me. I watched it twice to help myself get a better grip on the episode, and I still loved it. Still not quite my favorite, but definitely a 5/5 just the same.
As has been said by another, this episode had everything.
:)It had K/Rness (and delightfully in the form of jealin--Kim.) :)It had a great running gag of which I did not get tired. :)I was surprised at its organization. :)It showed Ron as being responsible. :)It showed a completely new side to Ron. :)It had Yori. :)Yori and Kim bonded. :)It had a cute baby. :)The baby was cute. :)The baby laughed. :)The baby had a cute face. :)I liked the baby.
*biological clock kicks in once more*
Besides the baby, this was a brilliant episode.
Except I also have issues with Ron's sitting techniques.
He left Hana alone in order to retrieve various Sacky clones. No no! He washed the baby with gloves! (and I'm sure that's for humor, but still!) Babies need skin to skin contact.
But he did make an awesome baby sling without paying $50.

Whoa, It's letting me watch it! They finally got rid of that only from America thing?! I know! I got on so I could explain how to get to the episode to someone how to get to the episode and it started playing. SO EXCITED! I saw it earlier, and it was amazing, there were so many great things going on in this episode. I'll post more thoughts later!

I want an artist to draw a pic of them. Hana hugging a sack of flour. Or sleeping against it. Really, I don't want child porn, but I suddenly love the idea of a cute baby sleeping against a sack of flour with a smiley face on it.

Ron is no doubt a good brother, but he's a terrible father! Kim's going to need to supervise whenever they have kids! She was so cute! It still kind of bothers me that his parents didn't tell him. I'm trying to get into the mindset of someone when they think to themselves, "Let's not tell the other kid, we'll just hope he deals with it." Maybe they were afraid he would overreact (Ron, overreact? Nooo...), so they decided to wait until it was done, so he'd just have to deal. I didn't get the entire roman numeral of the sugar-baby, but I got enough to know it was 1,900 and something. No doubt Hana is the weapon. After all, for love to make something unstoppable, that something should probably be animate. Besides, we already know that whenever the word "unstoppable" comes up in these prophecies, there's always some relation to Ron. Once again Ron kicked major butt and neither Kim nor Yori was there to see it. How does that always manage to happen? Maybe he's just apathetic when they're around, since he knows one of them will bail him out of whatever trouble he's in. I like seeing Ron kick bad-guy butt, it should happen more often! I'm assuming that this episode comes before "Clothes Minded", since Kim's still got her old mission clothes. It's kind of weird that we didn't see Hana in that episode, however. I'm thinking little Hana's going to be an aunt before she's 10! ;D 5/5 definitely!!!

I didn't think Yori was two-dimensional. I thought her quite the opposite, actually. I was judging by facial expressions, and I think that while she did take the news well, she didn't take it perfectly. To me, it seemed her little change line was a bit convenient, and by the time she and Kim were tied up, she had time to think about things.
So Yori was, yes, quite all right with Kim/Ron. But jumping for joy? No.

Sacky was a girl, though. Leave it to Nabu to ship same-sex baby couples! ;D

I think the Stoppables are experimenting with a different technique of parenting. I still defend them as non-bad parents, but they don't seem to be all the traditional. At least that's my euphemism. Hoo, boy. I loved that rip on that "What to Expect" series. Classic. And I hope Hana be an aunt before she's 10!

But from what you're saying, I do believe that Yori would come to accept K&R as a couple.

I loved this episode, it is one of my favorites. Two big storylines, Hana, and the Kim / Ron / Yori situation.
I don't know why it took Ron so long to warm up to Hana, she is adorable. And she is powerful, if what she did to Monkey Fist is any indication, she could take over the world saving business if and when Kim and Ron retire, I want to see how powerful she is when she grows up, they should do an episode when a grown up Hana shows up from the future to warn Ron and Kim about something.
The Yori storyline, Yori took the news the way I thought she would. And her comments that it was Kim and Ron's desitny, give me great hope that Kim and Ron will get married someday.
The minor things, in this episode it is brief, but when Ron and Barken are together it is funny, "Home time is my time especially in bath time." For some reason the Tweebs nickname for Sacky the Flour Child had me cracking up.
The closing tag, Ron kind of freaked out over that girl treating the bag of a flour as a real baby, even though Ron did the exact same thing through out the episode. That was funny in an ironic way. That is typical Ron. The girl made me think of the episode of Danny Phantom when Danny / Valerie, and Tucker / Sam took care of flour as a real baby, I guess because she does play Sam.
"Home time is my time especially when it's bath time." LOL
5 / 5

I like to think that Ron had matured enough to think that someone giggling over a sack of flour was weird.
The way Barkin acted toward Ron... I got the impression that Ron bothers the man a lot.
And how was Ron too old for that assignment? I was a senior when I did mine. Of course, I locked my flour baby twins in my locker the entire week and let my science teacher's daughter play with my computer baby...

Man, they did a lot of quick dialog like they did in StD ... which makes it all the more awesome. There are just soo many lines in there that have so many double entedres.
Kim: "She can count on you Ron, but not for everything, right?" ---------------- Kim: "Ron, I don't think she'll be spitting up when she turns 18" Ron: "Well that makes one of us!" ---------- Kim: "In the meantime, Ron and I might as well head home" *Kim gives evil grin* ------ Ron: "Kim, where are you going? The attic is this way..." ---------- Monkey Fist: "Loving the weapon makes it unstoppable" ---------- Kim: "You and Yori? Um ... no." ---------- Yori: "So it is, how you say it, girl's night out?" Kim: "Sure, something like that." -------------- Ron: "Heh, that's some grip you got there" ---------------- Ron man just kicking major monkey butt ---------- Ron: "NEVER threaten Ron Stoppable's sister!" ------------- Ron: "Nobody talks trash about my little sister!" ------------
and yeah, any episode with Hana is going to be big now.

I don't know why there is so much dislike towards them. The Stoppables are great compair to the fictional animated parents I can't stand. If you want bad parents, Toph's parents from Avatar: The Last Airbender, those two I can't stand. Their child overcomes a handicap, and becomes strong and independent, they should be proud, but instead they basic tell her "You are weak, helpless, you will always be that way so just give up." Than they hire two thugs to kidnap her, I can't stand them. I might even hate them more than the Fire Lord. The Fire Lord looks like father of the year compair to Toph's father. Compaired to them, the Stoppables are great parents.
