I think it's weird that a lot of adults and teens like KP more, but honestly it shows just how smart KP as a general show. I'm proud to be 6 months away from being 20 years old and a KP fan. Yeah, it's weird and creepy that a lot of KP fans are older men, but hey, that can be cool too. I have a hard time understanding what it is you're trying to convey, because while you say you're proud to be nearly 20 and enjoy the show, you also say it's "weird." Which is it? And I take issue with that last statement...what is it that makes it "weird and creepy" for a person such as myself to like the show, enjoy it with my family, and participate in this fandom? (Not just myself, but Cloudmonet, Captainkodak1, Grandpa RD and Dracko, among many others.) I've been around these message boards for more than 3 years, and this is the first time I've come across such a direct slap at older KP fans.

Yeah, but what about 40 y/os who don't have kids Having kids is a prerequisite to being part of the fandom? What if the person is gay, for example? There's a whole lot more info to be obtained about a person before one can hand down judgements.

I've been around these message boards for more than 3 years, and this is the first time I've come across such a direct slap at older KP fans. I'm sorry if it came across like that. I don't know what I meant by that and I'm sorry that I said that. I guess it's just me tryin to make sense of it but when I think about it... does it make sense that The Golden Girls is one of my favorite shows? This is about women in the elderly years. So, maybe I was being judgmental and I'm sorry. I'm still recovering from a weird random cold/flu that came out of nowhere and struck me down for two days so, please forgive my... nasty remark. It wasn't meant to sound as bad as it sounds. I meant that it's completely random and odd that older people like the show, but that's cool. At least the show has a diverse group of fans and not just one narrow type of people, because it would truly be sad if there was one type of person watching the show. Some of the nicest people who are KP fans are the older crowd. What I meant by "Yeah, it's weird and creepy that a lot of KP fans are older men, but hey, that can be cool too." is that, it's completely weird and eccentric-ish that the show has middle-aged men as fans, but that is cool too because I realize the awesomeness that can contain. I'm sorry if it sounded like a slap, I should have clarified. I didn't mean it badly. I am, however, very hurt that it was interpreted to be something other than a "oh, this is kinda crazy that this is so but I can dig it" thing.

What I saw in your comment, which I did not take offensively by the way, was to see a show created and written for "Tweeners" (6-12 year-olds) would have older men as fans.
For me it is just a case where a select group of people appreciating a quality show. Especially with the rest of the programs out there.
Can you believe there is a show where the parents do not approve of the current boyfriend so they are having the daughter go on dates with their "approved" men. Of course the dates are taped, with both the parents and the unapproved boyfriend watching.
The older group of KP fans remember when there were actual TV shows that were entertaining without insulting. KP is one today.
Also remember most of the writers and the two creators of the show are closer to the older age bracket that the Tweeners.
Anyway, don't feel to bad on you comment. That is the trouble of the INTERNET writings, someone will not read it the way it was written.
For example (I know, I know, I dragging this into the ground.) Wow, 25 cents for a candy bar.
Where the accent is placed on a particular word changes the meaning.
WOW! 75 cents for a candy bar.
Wow, 75 CENTS for a candy bar.
Wow, 75 cents for a CANDY BAR.
Thanks

Wow, 75 cents for a CANDY BAR.Thanks Thank you, at least somebody didn't take offense. I still felt awful and still do. Because I do that. Yeah, I learned about the whole... how a sentence is done can change the way it's said or whatever it's called when I was in my sophomore year of high school. Yeah, there are so few quality shows out there. I used to be a fan of Survivor in it's first season and got my mom into it. I dumped the show after season 1 and walked away. My mother, who is a fan of Grey's Anatomy, Lost, most hospital shows and crime shows, and Animal Planet watches it. I wish I hadn't been so keen on watching Survivor that wednesday after we moved into my new house in July 2000 because she never would have seen the show and prolly wouldn't have watched and I wouldn't be moaning about this today. I came to KP after spending a year being a MTV groupie watching The Osbournes, Real World: Las Vegas, and Clone High (CH wasn't a bad show in actuality, but MTV is utter crap). To inform people, the next two epsides coming on this week, will also be coming on at 5:30. that means that Fashion Victim and Odd Mans In will also be on at 5:30 and NOT 8:00 But, it said 7 on the promo. Are they lying to us again. Then, I better be prepared at 4:30 to be safe.
