Aha. That makes sense... (I mean, it makes sense that nacospeak=G.erman, not necessarily that it makes sense that the boards automatically changes the word )

Cool clip of Nacospeak KP... out of curiosity, which type of accent is it? As in Viennese, Berlinese, etc.... Just curious. Thought that maybe Dementor might at least have some sort of different accent in the Nacospeak version...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCkl3X6_KVcI found this from Rockets videos showing dementor talk Nacospeak, and it sounds pretty normal Nacospeak accent to my ears ( rofl lol rufus talks so funny in Nacospeak ) I think in English version guy tries be a from österreich or something but well to listners ears it goes always ( hmm did rocket allready link it ?) Ron seems get more mature as season episodes go on but still being his goofy selfs its pretty cool thing they evolved him and Kim so great in this season.

Thought that maybe Dementor might at least have some sort of different accent in the Nacospeak version... As far as I can tell (I'm from Austria ) he doesn't have any specific ger man accent. He doesn't have an austrian or swiss accent, that's for sure. And I don't think he has a specific ger man one either. He sounds like any other villain on the show. (Okay, escept for the yelling. ) Edit: I'm uploading a clip from Car Alarm, with Shego, Motor Ed, Frugal and Dr. D, so you can compare them to Dementor. Edit2: done. youtube.com/watch?v=vS0bE8OiJkM

Ron: "We're gonna need a bigger boat.....and water" LOL Classic! You know, I still don't get that... This line was made famous by the movie "JAWS". Brody (Roy Schieder) is a sherriff for a small new england town on the shores of the Atlantic. This town is suddenly terrorized by a "shark". They aren't really sure what kind or how big. A shark hunter shows up and agrees to take Brody out and kill the menace (for a fee). They take their boat out into the waters off shore. Brody throws chum over the side of the boat to draw the shark up. The rest is classic: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OnaZ8r3p8g(PG-13 - language and mild violence) Ron was referring to this scene. Kim and Ron showed up expecting a small cat. They find a LARGE Puma. Hence the line.

Thanks for the second clip, Rocket! You're right, I couldn't really tell the difference between the accents of all the villains, but then again, I may just not be familiar with the accents. I was just curious if perhaps Dementor either have a stronger or more regional accent than the other characters, but I guess not!

It was a fun episode. Larry reminds me so much of the Trek fans that seemed to live and breath Trek. He really has no concept of reality to understand that Dementor was a *real* villain and not a role-playing actor. Heck, Ron, given he actually worked with Kim on her missions, knows reality from fiction, yet Larry (and his fellow 'nerds') just has no concept of reality. Which is why it made this episode so fun to see him play a game that is not really a game at all. ;D Of course, given his science-fiction knowledge and understanding of tech, it came to no surprise that he handled the battlesuit pretty well. He's no where near Kim's league since Kim is in shape and he's not, but one has to give credit for Larry to knowing his stuff. One thing that tickled me with this episode was the appearance of Hana. Ron took his responsibilities of being a big brother quite seriously, especially with trying to follow Mrs. S's rules of 'No Missions' with Hana. (I guess she must have heard Ron taking Hana on his mission to rescue Kim and Yori in "Big Bother". ;D) Kim managed to con both 'children' onto going on a mission to save Larry, and what happened? Hana showed her 'skills' by destroying a laser gun with a cookie and done the deed of activating Dementor's lair's self-destruct with the same cookie. Of course, Kim thought it was Ron who did it. This all happened before Kim and Ron found out about Hana's powers as seen in "Oh, No! Yono!". ;D My favorite line: Ron - "You know, Real Life does have girls." Given he's now dating one, a particularly smart and beautiful one that is, that line made me laugh at the irony that he was in Larry's position for years until he snagged Kim. Yep, wise words all right. ;D So I say it was a fun episode. It dragged in the beginning at times until the excitement build-up after Larry began his 'role-playing' with Dementor. A 4 out of 5.

Yep Mrs. Stoppable cooled on her stance in "Oh No! Yono" so if the word of the VIPs that "Oh no yono" was the episode before the finale was not good enough to convince that then the reaction of Ron's mom should. Actually, Mrs. S didn't knew Ron took Hana on another mission in "Oh, No! Yono!". He said something like it was pay trip to Japan, thus it pretty much tied in with "Larry's Birthday" of her not wanting Hana on any missions. My guess is that she heard of Ron taking Hana to save Kim and Yori in "Big Bother" and put her foot down on taking Hana on any missions at all. ;D

3/5.
I truly did enjoy this. I'm not a stranger to gaming geekdom, and that's really what made this story fun for me. And the idea was clever... just nothing special.

Something I noticed, Ron did tell Larry that "real life has girls." That's true. What he didn't tell him, which he found out at the movie theater, is that there's no guarantee they'll want anything to do with you. And the actor in that movie sounded so much like Drakken, it hard to deny that John DiMaggio had another dual role. Now take a look at the rest of the cast; Judging by my experience with of his work, it's a safe bet that Bill Fagerbakke(why is this board censoring the actor's name) was the voice of Dementor's brother-in-law Myron. And though I'm not 100% certain, I suspect that Mary Jo Catlett was Aunt June.

What really bugs me is that they changed the voice actor of Frugal Lucre... He had a different voice in season one.

Anyway, I've seen the episode and...for some unknow reason (perhaps I'm too...DEMENTED to know it) I find it AWESOME! It was funny, it was kind of "cool", so geeknerdy and...boy oh boy, look at Mr. Left. ~Click For Full Image Nothing much left to say...at the moment, except for 5/5

The funny thing about Larry and his "lady friend" was that I was rooting for them when the episode began.

I thought this was a great episode and I'm quite envious of the high quality of animation that Larry's Birthday was fortunate enough to get.

Pretty much how I feel about this ep. 4/5. What I also liked about it was that I'm a fan of both Patton Oswalt and Brian Pohsen and they are both huge nerds. As far as I can tell (I'm from Austria ) he doesn't have any specific ger man accent. He doesn't have an austrian or swiss accent, that's for sure. Prof. Dementor's voice is basically a variant of his impression of painting instructor William Alexander. He does a bit about him in his stand-up act. If I can find a clip of it, I'll post it. Edit: I'm having trouble finding one without any swearing in it.

She was hesitant to do anything because he was her cousin. If it were anybody other than family I don't she would've hesitated.
Anyways, this episode still doesn't do much for me, the only stuff of any merit IMO are the scenes of Ron/Hana development, and the visuals in the 3rd act. Other than that I still find this episode to be lackluster. Mostly because the wannabe Drakken-Professor Dementor still feels like a generic supervillain, and quite frankly, he bores the crap out of me.
