When do you plan to use your new method of screen capturing that doubles the amount of screencaps in your collection? well, if you noticed, some of the eps now have like 1200 pics, these are using the new compression but, i am not sure if i will replace the other eps becaise it would cause any direct links to them to not work anymore because the names/address would be different that is why i had the poll, and it seemed like most people did not want me to change the site but what i am doing, is compressing the existing pics when i first started, i ws going to need 9 gigs for the entire site, i will now only need around 3!!!! even if i increase every ep to 1200 pics it will still only need around 4-5 gigs

cool, that might work, but it still seems like a lot of extra work to increase the number of pics

It's based on C, C++, Java, and Perl I think....

ouch perl, i can't stand perl
from what i can see, i would say you are right, it looks to be a combination of at least c++ and java

That's because it is a combination of the three.. Or 4... Anyway...
An example... the registration script is 113 lines... Which I reduced from... 208 (approximately) by using a function to include the header and footer and the registration form.

yep, you got to love functions, they make your life so much easier, and make the number of lines of code required to be a lot smaller

Exactly. I used a function to handle BBCode as well. the functions.php houses all the functions and includes the database connection information and the banning system.
