Well, the forums may be withering on the vine, but Kim Possible fanfiction and fanart seem to be going at a pretty good clip, with over 6,300 stories on FF.net and AFF.net and 21,000 pictures on DA. I only became a KP fan last August and don't know what it was like when the show was in its heyday, but I'm not complaining. I've got a backlog of 50+ stories that I want to read, and spend an hour or two every day on DA. I've noticed that "The Simpsons", who've been around for 20 years, have only about 700 fanfics total and a couple thousand more deviations than KP. I think that, barring some kind of miracle (the World Showcase Adventure being one) and a change of heart from Disney, Kim Possible's future is in the hands of her fans.

To start this off; I mean no disrespect in saying this but I do believe that you are wrong in writing KP fan world off. Yes the interest in KP for some waning but it is not dead, new fans come along and will continue to find her. Boards such as KPFW are needed to keep the fandom going, so I say KP fan world should stay as is; for the new people that have found Kim, and the same should be said of RS.net. Members move on and that too is part of the fandom, if those who care for the board are tired of it they should hand them off to a trusted fan that can give her the time and devotion that she needs. Then when it is time for they themselves to go they will do the same and pass the board on.
As it was said the KP fandom is not gone, are there still not new fanfic’s and videos being made everyday? Maybe to some it was only the show and the 88 episodes that mattered, but to others the adventure goes on.

Oh, I wasn't writing off the Kim Possible Fan World, just responding to some earlier comments that seemed negative. I reference KPFW all the time and want it to continue. Some of the forums may be losing participants, but like I said, fanfiction and fanart seem to be doing quite well. Even if Disney were to send the show off to the vault, the fans would keep interest going. KP belongs to the world now.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Muzzlehatch, but I was talking about what was said a few posts back. I agree with what you said, the fandom will go on it is just the members that change. You are right she does belong to the world and her fans now, as shown by the amount of fanfic's still written about her. The disservice is from the fans who as they leave tell you that you should leave too.

Look...some people who write the kp fan fictions and draw the kp fan art are not even fans of the show.
Edit:
I would leave it be till there is another kp movie or another kp season. While it might not be anytime soon i imagine if the penguins of madagascar does well on Nickelodian that disney could make an offer to Bob and Mark about another season or a movie. Still a lot of stuff has been hashed out over and over again.
I know for sure the redesign would be awesome but till theres more action in the fandom i don't see the need.

Some say the redesign might help activity in the fandom, some say it won't. Part of why we were thinking about it would simply be to help the overall design flaws we've noticed over the years, but if no one thinks it needs it, then we probably won't do it. KPFW is for the fans, not for those running the site. Also, the redesign would NOT be to get rid of it. Simply to make a little more pleasing to the eye, so to speak... But what the fans is what the fans will get.

Or to give it a face lift of some sort. IMO, It really does not matter if the redesign helps activity in the fandom or not. Any Improvment to any site, no matter how little is always a Plus in my book. So, I say Go For It! Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino

I will say then yes to fixing the design flaws, and I want to say that all roads lead to Kim Possible. Without fans sites to be available to a new fan or some one looking to find out more about her or the show is the quickest way to kill her for good.

Hi, As of 06/17/2009 at 1:30pm, kpfanworld Season 2 through 3 are down. Season 1 seems to be ok. I get this when I select an image: Home Episode Index Next 100 Screen Caps 1-100 for the episode Naked Genius Warning: opendir(photogallery/22 Naked Genius Pics/1-100) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/kpfanwor/public_html/caps/includes/function_print_gallery.php on line 10 Cannot Open The Directory "photogallery/22 Naked Genius Pics/" Please make sure the URL was typed correctly. If you think you are revieving this message in error, please e-mail Caps@kpfanworld.com I was wondering if anyone is upgrading the site right now and when it will be back up. I am working on a KP Music Video and I use the screen caps from kpfanworld to help in the Story Boarding process. Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino

my caps site is now no longer available, Unfortunately due to recent changes in policies with the company i run the site through, the site will be undergoing some changes. instead of the site being a gallery where you can see the images individually, when the reorganization is complete you will only be able to download entire episodes at once in a zip file.

Hi wallaceb, Well, that kind of sucks for me at the moment. I was in the middle of Story Boarding a New KP Music Video, so now it going to have to be on hold until I am able to get some Sceen Shots from someone or somewhere else. What kind of format and quality will the entire KP episodes be? Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino

If we knew which episodes you needed, I'm sure we could figure something out for you. I'd help with the archiving, Brian, except I don't have all of the caps on my computer. I have So The Drama... But only because I made those...
