It's simple, they're lying. I don't think that ANY female would like to be treated equal. They want do keep their advantages (simple example: Ladies Nights) and get the advantages of males, but never the disadvantages. They'd never want to be treated like a man, they want to be treated like a "Lady". And, tada, that was it with equality.

Oh, you mean, that you agree with Blanche Devereaux from The Golden Girls' sentiment: "I don't want to be treated as your equal... I want to be treated a lot better than you!" for ladies?
You wanna know a secret?
I agree. Women should be treated a lot better than men. But, officially, I say I'm for gender equality, because the men will get all mad.

I just wish I wasn't too chicken to ask a guy out. I prolly would have a boyfriend by now if I wasn't chicken. Wait. No boyfriend, what the hell? But you're great. I mean, I always thought of you as some sort of celebrity, or something like that. And yeah, gender equality, within reason. I'm not gonna be all like, "duuuuude, sup, let's go rollin down Maple Street wit da top down" or whatever to a girl. Women and men are different, so it's natural that we should be treated differently. But we're all adults, so we should all be allowed the same rights, as human beings.

I call everyone dude. My mother, Bob Schooley, my cousins, everyone. It's just weird.
I KNOW! I wish I had a boyfriend. Or a girlfriend. I'm not picky. Either will work...
Le sigh.

I'm saying that all those "TREAT US EQUAL!" yellers should just shut the hell up. Women are already treated better in most situations, so what do they want more?

Because they got tons of crap in the past. They want reparations, I guess for those who sinned against them.

Pretty much none of us has anything to do with this anymore. Most of the females yelling for equality weren't even born back then! And most of those who were already alive back then don't give a piece of cheese about this because they got what they want. I can't take them serious and they just annoy me because they "fight" for something they already got...well, they got even more.

I'm a woman...and a feminist. But my feminism has a lot to do with crimes against women. Like rape and abuse. Some men think just because they are stronger they get to push us around! Otherwise, I'm for intellectual gender equality, but I'm aware that our physical makeup makes it more difficult for women to do some "guy things" and vice versa.

*Examines facial hair* *Examines object in pants* Yep, pretty sure I'm a guy. I actually agree with Baroque for once, women are generally treated much better these days. Example: Man rapes a woman, and a different woman rapes different man. The guy gets sent to prison for a decade or so, and is registered as a sex offender, the women gets off, at worst, with a fine and being registered. And it rarely goes that far.

Hey I'm a feminist. >.>; ya wanna know why? Because I've encountered plenty of guys who have disregarded my opinions because they were from, le gasp, a girl. Some of the greatest theroies and books were written by women, who had to have their husband print it as their own. That idea annoys me. I'm also partial to the fact I don't care for equality, I just think that some things should be equal, like opinions, ideas and all that mental stuff.
Ahem.
That being said, I shall take my exit, stage right!

Women should have the rights that men do, but I think they should be treated like women because that's what they are, women. Men should be treated like men, and women like women, but you don't have to treat women and men as if they're of a different species.
