NO MORE BRACES. This morning I got my braces off!! It's been almost 3 years since I got my braces!! I've changed so much in the past 3 years, it's seriously crazy. My ortho record from 3 years ago!! Note... I was chunky (ew.. I look like my bio dad), anndd even though I wasn't wearing them in this pic, I had geeky, round glasses, ... andddd no makeup, my hair looks horrible. Haha. AND HOLY CRAP. I TOTALLY REMEMBER THAT I WAS ABLE TO STICK MY WHOLE TONGUE THROUGH THAT GAP BETWEEN MY TEETH HAHA I should get my new ortho record soon. They took the pics today after I got my braces off. Sooo.. I'll update when i get that.. WOW. Braces - No braces - <3 Yessssss

*le gasp* They look beautiful!!
You've changed completely since childhood! New hair, no specs etc!
But aww, I'd grown attached to the braces *sob* I'll miss you, Neville.
I'm getting braces in a couple of months too. Like you, pretty long term.
Gah, wish I'd done it early like you ^^

Wow, you've changed astoundingly! Like first...sending someone else to the dentist because you were so scared but oh snap, she was told to get bracers and then you had to get them and now you're like...totally unbracered! Great thing!
Has someone already said "Brace yourself"?

As a gift.. they give you a HUGE goodie bag full of stuff you weren't supposed to eat while you had braces. OF COURSE.. EVERYONE STILL EATS THAT STUFF. But, heyyy free candy haha. My retainer only needs to be worn at night YESSSSS!

My second cousin in Kentucky was kinda similar. One year, she was dressed like a tom boy and had braces, the next - she was uber hot! Like, no braces, girly clothes, straightened hair - the works!

I call it the Butterfly Syndrome. When they're done wearin' the braces, they don't just take 'em off - they MAKE sure they're noticed ;D I mean, 3+ years of watching what you eat etc is HELL.
It has to be worth it in the end.

It has to be worth it in the end. I guess it was mostly the fact that I started noticing boys more.. and... I just starting acting more like a girl, and likign shopping, and stuff like that.

CONGRATS ON GETTING THEM OFF. I cant say how excited i was to get mine off, and i totally agree with hannah best method of losing weight. I just couldnt be bothered to deal with the pain of eating. AND I MISSED EATING APPLES OFF THE CORE.
You look amazing Sarah!! ;D pearly whites

I didn't need braces but my sister wore them for, I don't remember how long but it was long. It made me glad I never had to have them.
But CONGRATS!
