The title basically explains everything^^ Me and my best friend learnt today the consequences of what happens when ya do a piggy-back. For those who dont know a piggy-back is when a person jumps on the other's back and is then carried. Anyway my friend gave me a piggy-back, i did tell her not to but she said it would be fine. For a while all was good and we were having a great laugh. Suddenly Danielle lost her balance, i flew over the top of her and smashed my head on the pavement leaving me a biiiig black eye and a grazed arm (i now look like the frickin Hunchback of Notre Dame), Danielle however ended up with a big cut and bruise on her chin aaaand had her two front teeth chipped badly (ouch that much have hurt) and the poor thing is using a straw now.. I thought nothing was wrong first of all, it wasn't until i turned round and saw blood pouring from Danielle's mouth that i actually started to panic, i then put my hand on my head and felt blood dripping down my arm Seriously i've never seen soo much blood before, its like something you would see out of a horror film. Luckily we were only down the road next to where i live so we were able to get home quite quickly. Thank god we didn't end up in A&E at the hospital. Me and Danielle are now too frightened to go out in public and let people see us the way we are, but i will be going to the dentist with her tomorrow as she is getting caps for her teeth. Though i warn you all, something bad can happen just like that when you least expect it and im definately not gonna ever give/get given a piggy-back ever again whether you were in the road like us or anywhere else. Its not worth the risk of getting hurt, especially when it can be quite serious. So i hope you all listen to the words of a young crazy girl who just wanted to have some innocent fun ^^

Wow, and I just gave Dana a piggyback last night.
I think it's okay IF you can support the person on you. I'm not saying Caramy wasn't strong enoughto support her friend, but like a dad giving his child a piggyback ride, that would be easy.

Aww thanks everyone^^ My friend went to the dentist today and her teeth look fine again, wonders of what 30 mins in a dentist can do to you lol.. My boyfriend came round to see me along with his mum & sister and YAY he still loves me with this thing stuck above my eye *rolls eye that does not have lump* hehe Danielle's face still looks bad and i have a purple eye, so when out in public people tend to look at us weirdly. Still never again will i let someone give me a piggyback or let me give them one.. Not unless wearing a helmet, knee/arm/shoulder pads aaaand a lot of clothing lol Strange how quick something can happen, one min she was holding me & the next we were both smack down in the road. Still years to come we will be laughing about this, just like today^^

Argh...teeth...pain! Good that you feel better again...well, it was just an accident. Bad luck...who knows. Understandable though that you don't want to do it ever again.

I know piggy-backs are dangerous, which is why I REFUSE to give me little 7-year-old cousin piggy-back rides, no matter HOW many times she asks me to. I FEEL SOOOOOOO SORRY FOR U AND UR FRIEND, CARAMY!!! . If this makes U feel ANY better, once part of my head split open a bit by me falling on the radiator, and I had to get staples put in my head, and ten days later theey took them out. And that happened when I was eight. And whe I was nine, on Thanksgiving Day, you know that thing that takes the juice out of the turkey? Well, the turkey juice spilled all over my chest right after it came out of the oven, and I had to put a load of this creamy gel on me everyday and night for a while, and I had to keep this squishy cast-thing all around my stomach which made it uncomfortable to walk with, and when I was 3, part of my toe nail got cut off, by a door jamming into it. Ouch! And when I was 5, I was on the playground in my school, and there was one of those bridge things, and when I was sitting on the railing thing of it, I fell off, and my face hit the ground first. I didn't have 2 go to the doctor or ANYthng like that, because all I had was the tiniest little red dot on my face, but I was 5 and it hurt! And when a baby, I had HORRIBLE ear aches, and I cryed all the time because of it, and I always went to the doctor and stuff, and when I was eight, I slipped on a patch of ice, my lip was bleeding everywhere, and I had to get a couple dissolvable stitches. And when I was still eight, I was on the monkey bars, fell out, and my nose was bleeding terribly, but it did stop after a while. I didn't have to go to the doctor, but still. And when I was 4, I was in the gym, a basketball hit my right i the forehead real hard, I fell over, and the back of my head hit the floor, and it REALLY hurt! I was crying, but I didn't have to go to the doctor or anything, but it still REALLY hurt on the back of my head! Ouch! And when I was eight, I got a guine pig for Christmas, but I only had him for 5-7 weeks, 'caused he passed away. So on that day, I got two other guinea pigs, and a few years later, one of them died again, so now, I still only have one guinea pig, but I can't hold or pet him or anything, because now I have a big allergic reaction tog uinesa pigs. they give my a lot of hives, I itch, I sneeze, I sometimes cough, but he's still mine! I'm not giving this guinea pig to ANYbody! Did all of THAT make U feel ANY better?

yeah piggy back rides can be dangerous... when me and my husband were first dating, he gave me a piggy back rid and I don't remember how it happened but some how I had lost my balance and fell backwards off his back and went head first into the pavement. Luckily I didn't get too hurt, just a bruise and a goose egg.

Wow KPfan from what you wrote in your paragraph makes me feel truly sorry for everything that has happened to you, and i agree with ZorpoxFanboy and his respect of your ability to bounce back from everything. I know many people can find that a hard thing to do, but to actually overcome it is a great thing. I'm quite an emotional person so i seriously do feel sorry and sad for everything that you've gone through. I understand how you feel about your Guinea pig, if i was in the same situation i would not give up any animal that i loved no matter the consequences. Thankyou for trying to make me feel better, i suppose it has taken my mind off of the bad things that have happened to me, yet to hear what someone else has gone through is touching. Thanks to everyone for all your comments. Altogether though i am feeling a lot better, my arm still hurts quite a bit which is strange and i will get a scar. Kinda annoying considering i'm gonna on holiday in the sun getting a tan, but hey there are worse things that could happen. My eye is bruised mostly yellow and purple but the colour has spread onto my eyelid and around the eye. People are soo gonna think i can't put makeup on lol.. Danielle is healing nicely, teeth look fine (we actually went back to where we fell to look for her teeth.. No luck) her lip looks better & her chin is slowly getting better. Still looks very sore though *shudders* i feel soo sorry for her especially if its still bad next week as we both have college indentity photos. I said she should do some random chavish pose to cover it up lol ^^ I suppose the warning i already had from giving my boy mate a piggyback should have stopped me from letting Danielle give me one. Yet last time it was unexpected, my friend Tom just jumped on my back n it clicked out of place. Some guys really are heavy. No offence to any other guy here!^^ We are still getting up to our normal craziness now though, going to a fair tomorrow and gonna go on all the rides (soo over the fear of going out in public lol), also hopefully will get the chance to see my kitten again. Danielle's cat had 4 kittens and i'm allowed one *jumps up & down with joy* I got to hold it when it was one day old.. Sooo cute! ;D
