Hey, Steve! Welcome back! FANTASTIC job on Ill-Suited! QUESTION: Thoughts on Monkey Business getting released in Germany, Australia, UK and Spain? You guys confirmed Monkey Business at Gargoyles, so what's up with the lack of US release? Are you timing a potential release to coincide with Season 4?

Hey Steve! Welcome back!!
Got kind of a question that only you can really address...
Recently ADJL got cancelled. You mentioned "corporate decision" as the reason and I don't think I've read anything that thorougly explained this. You may not be at liberty to explain why, but it leads to a dilema.
At the time of ADJL's cancellation, the ratings were strong. In fact, stronger than they were prior to your arrival. We are hoping for a fifth season of KP or a movie or SOMETHING beyond the 22 eps on the plate. The comments you have made in the past were "it will depend largely on the ratings". Well, in ADJL's sitch, that didn't matter. So, even if KP gets strong ratings, there is a strong possibility that nothing will save her and this is actually "THE END". We are very thankful for the 22 eps we got and will be thoroughly enjoying it, but I'd like you to revisit your "depends on the ratings" comments regarding going forward with KP and really address the posibilities of taking KP beyond episode 87 with something more. (Movie? Spinoff? More Eps? Etc.) What will it take? Did you leave the series in a state it could go further? By the way, can you tell us yet what actually killed ADJL?
Hey, you're out of a job again!!! What's your next project??

Hey, you're out of a job again!!! What's your next project?? Well, it's complicated. Many factors go into a decision to continue a TV series or not. I'd rather not elaborate further, but we'll see what the future holds for KP. HUGE ratings (like High School Musical) are undeniably good for any TV series and are certainly the strongest factor in renewal. As far as a future job- I'm currently working on a pilot with Bill Motz and Bob Roth for The Disney Channel.

Steve, welcome back! Are you known as Steve or Steven, out of curious? How did you get involved with Kim Possible? Please call me 'therealsteveloter' or Steve. Or Bertha. I got involved with KP due to my previous work with Mark and Bob and my knowledge of Chris Bailey's directing style (from directing on 'Clerks') Also with my skill with baking cookies.

This is probably worthy of a 'no comment', but will we see Warmonga more than once this season? [Yes, this is my dubious way of asking about the finale - oops] ;D

Why did you change the opening/ending credits?
How did you come up with the clip selections for the new opening credits. Most specifically, using the LBD shot!
Did you intentionally make references to other KP episodes in ill Suited ? Examples follow: - Ron's "Whatever" comment about Bonnie's trading up (Mole Rat CGI) - Ron's "Earthquake" comment in Bueno Nacho (Partners) - Ron's "Noooo" about going out for football due to Bonnie's comment (STD)
Who came up with the "Water skiing over a shark" comment at the end? That is the ultimate trade joke and a slam to people who said the show can't succeed with Ron/Kim bf/gf (reference to a show Jumping the Shark ala Happy Days/The Fonz)
We are seeing things from unusal camera angles in these new episodes. There was mention of the screen pan behind Kim's legs to Professor Dementor in Bueno Nacho. Also, the under the table shot duing the KP/Ron fight in BN gave us a look at Kim's underwear for the first time since Tick-Tick-Tick. Are these new camera angles due to the animation crew taking some liberties (you mentioned they used to work on Teen Titans I believe and that battle sequences will be more "edgier" this year). Or were these angles requested by you and the crew to give the show a different feel???

Um... alright then. Hey, Bertha!
What are you still working on currently, in regards to Season 4 of KP?
And since you brought up Clerks, I just wanted to say that that series really seems like the spiritual predecessor to Kim Possible. You, Chris Bailey, and Stephen Silver (and even Nick Filippi) all behind the art and animation for that series. It was pretty tight.
Now that I think about it, what kind of interaction did you have with Kevin Smith?

Or were these angles requested by you and the crew to give the show a different feel??? The opening credits were changed because we wanted to freshen them up and give a better overall feel for the series. Also, I like to do reeeeeaaaalllyyyy frustrating things. What's the LBD shot? (Is this dirty?) I'm not sure about the references. You'd have to ask Mark and Bob if they intended to lay pipe. It's not a dirty term (like LBD), 'Laying pipe' describes setting up something. I would think the 'jumping the shark' reference is Bob's. It sounds like something he'd write. Regarding the staging of the show- we wanted to make it more cinematic. You'll notice that some episodes feel more 'standard' and some are more 'dynamic'. It really depends on the situation. For instance 'So the Drama' feels more cinematic than say, 'Roachie". In fact, the presidential state of the union address feels more cinematic than 'Roachie'. Actually, I never worked on Teen Titans, but a lot of my storyboard artists did.
