Sorry, they're actually Six...six principles.
And they are:
1- Consitancy: Myspace's pages are terribly designed when it comes to consistant outlines.
2- Feedback: The feedback is pretty good, but unless you know exactly what you're looking for you're going to have a tough time finding it.
3- Clarity: Although the pages are titled according to the links, they do not inform the users what these pages exactly do.
4- Forgiving: This is normally about users making errors and being allowed to correct them. So, I believe users can edit their info on this site...but I still have to find out if that's true.
5- User Control: Users practically feel out of control from the moment they enter the homepage, they are presented with links everywhere and advertising banners catching their eye all the time. So nope!
6- Aesthetics: Every aspect of the website is eye catching- animated banners, bright colored links, and a different layout on every page. So, myspace most definitely broke that rule as well.
And there you have it- myspace.com sucks!
Oh, and thanks for helping me finish my nacoignment so fast!
EDIT: (I can't believe the word A.ssignment got nacofied as well! )
