I just read this, and I was amazed at the dates of some of the posts! I mean, you guys are real good guessers. Or you ship everything and some of it has to come true. But I prefer the first one.

Nope, it's not that everyone are good guessers (though I bet some just came to the realization about the pairing later), it's just the pairing has drawn attention in fanfiction circles for some time. And why? ALL ME! BOOYAHAHAHAHA!!! *steeples fingers in front, laughing madly* I created it, it's all mine. My... precious... what... let go... stop drugging me, I'm... ahh... Okay, they boosted my medication again, I should be good for a while. It's amazing how crazy you get when a ship you create, with absolutely no hints in that direction whatsoever, actually comes to fruition. It's like a wonderful drug... though not as good as the stuff they keep giving me is. ;D Now, if only Bonnie proves to have mental abilities... PS. I figure I should have the Sharkin fix kicked soon enough. I mean, I can only watch the episode so many times in a day to enjoy it. ;D

I don't think it works like that. The inventor of the telephone is long dead, but they still exist. The Wright brothers are pushing up daisies, but airplanes still fly. Zaratan may have pushed the Sharkin boat forward, but now that it's caught on, there will always be sailors.

I don't really like to call it "Sharkin"....reminds me of HSM (i.e. Sharpay). Uggghhh! I'm gonna stick with "BarGo" instead. I just read this, and I was amazed at the dates of some of the posts! I mean, you guys are real good guessers. Or you ship everything and some of it has to come true. But I prefer the first one. I'm sure a lot of people have some ideas when they saw the first KP episode (i.e. Tick-Tick-Tick).

Oh, good grief. Apparenting "Stop Team Go" was a miracle for my S/Bness, and I missed it!

Oh, good grief. Apparenting "Stop Team Go" was a miracle for my S/Bness, and I missed it! The internet is a series of tubes, pick the one you can use. And it is not really a miracle. This Shego is a total Nega-Shego. You can see Shego would attracted to Barkin IF she was a completely different person. The kind that cries when she feels impotent and that is chipper and nicer than a Sesame Street resident.

She's good, though, and sarcasm is not really a good trait to have. Instead of that, she's sweet and sincere. She's a pacifist instead of someone who enjoys the fight. She's different, but she's still the same.

How about we just call it Shego and Barkin and be done with it? Bargo Sounds like a bad clothes designer brand. Like Fubu.
Any who, i like this couple, it's cute and yet has edges that get to be rounded out if either could take it seriously.. And, just for the Record, all the talk of crappy pairings were all over some forums, and the thought of Barkin and Shego together just popped into my head, i didn't happen to find it anywhere >.o;

Kill my fantasies, why don't you? Better now than when you actually watch the episode, seriously. It is like watching the Shego of a bad fanfic. OK, she is NOT a totally different person. She's good, though, and sarcasm is not really a good trait to have. Instead of that, she's sweet and sincere. She's a pacifist instead of someone who enjoys the fight. She's different, but she's still the same. She wasn’t the same. She was a version of Shego with a totally different set of morals and ideals. Physically she may be the same person, but mentally she was a totally different one. A person is defined by his actions, but those actions are decided upon based on that person’s ideals and morals. If your ideals and morals change as dramatically as Shego’s did, you stop being the same person because you have a different personality. That wasn’t Shego, that was NegaShego. Shego loves fighting, is sarcastic, doesn’t get scared easily, has a strong character, is dominant, and evil. She is as much the same person as Ron and “Zorpox” are.

Okay, watched the episode.
My Barkin/Shegoness has been completed with a large bag of what seems to be cement. Sorry, but I am a Barkin/Shego defender.
metaljudas, it seems to me that you are saying that the credentials and degrees of teaching and child development Shego had before switching to the dark side are not part of her. You're saying that "person" and "personality" are the same thing instead of letting Shego be a very, very complex character. Most people, if you look at them, have many values that appear to be contradictory.

I know it is for metaljudas but IMO Shego's credentials and degrees in child development etc. although they're now canon, just don't feel properly part of her - they just feel tacked on to her by whoever wrote this ep. A bit forced, like an excuse to put her in the scenario of hanging out with Kim and dating Mr Barkin.

It was more like an interesting tidbit of information, and it does fit with her.

I didn't like the episode much. Although Team Go was very funny in it.

It just bugs me when people complain that a character is too simple, and then freak out if they happen to have the complex contradictions of real people.

The whole child development thing was more of a joke than anything else, but it could be explained as something she did from before her descent into evil.
I will stop poking the Shego/Barkin shipping with needles and be a gooood boy. After all, it is not something we will see ever again on screen.

Nah...BarGo sounds better (like WarGo! ). "Shego and Barkin" is too long to type.
