I think Joss and Jim (Or Tim), that couple would be sweet.. Hopefully Joss is a 4th cousin. Well, I think the dialogue of "Crooked D" gives evidence of them Joss and the tweebs are, in fact, first cousins. (Mr. Dr. Possible and Slim are brothers, or - if G-Go's "Reuniverse" is any indication - maybe only half-bros. ) Though that doesn't necessarily mean they Joss and one of the tweebs can't hook up. Cousins marrying isn't the same as, say, siblings marrying by any means. It's legal for a boy and a girl who share a grandparent (or two) to be wed in a good number of states (though, unfortunately, not in Joss' native Montana.) Not to turn this into a religious discussion, but I know that if the Possibles are Catholic, than Joss and her tweeb would have to get dispensation from their diocese (provided that they lived in a state where cousin marriages were legal), but that shouldn't be hard (especially not if the tweeb inherited his mom's skill with the Puppy Dog Pout. ) I don't know about the rules regarding cousin unions in all the myraid Protestant churches out there, but I know you can make a good argument for said couplings, especially since there are a number of cousin marriages in the Old Testament (like Isaac and Rebecca, for example.) As for the whole "inbreeding" thing, the risk of birth defects to children born by two first cousins marrying (I think) is about 4-6%, as opposed to 2-3% for children born by two people "outside the family." So it doesn't look like Joss and her tweeb would be making a bunch of ogres or something. Though if I were one of their children, it would probably be a good rule to date outside the Possible family tree... Heck, after thinking about this topic I think I'm becoming a Joss/tweeb shipper...

None of those. Joss is clearly deep in love with Kim. So I'm not the only one thinking like this.

I'm going to say Wade because I saw that option and my first thought was "awwww..."
Though Sean would not be a bad match, either.
As for first cousins marrying, I'm a little wary because of my own state's law on the matter "Must be over fifty with proof that they can have no children") but I can definitely see the appeal. Cousin-marrying was quite common up until the past century.

I'd vote for Wade; around the same age and all...could work.
To those who voted for the tweebs: you've been hanging with the "Ben 10" shippers, haven't you? Cousin love...ewwww!

We just have to find a state that will allow them to wed!

I'd vote for Wade; around the same age and all...could work. Well, at least in my view, one problem would be that if they marry, the bride might be known as Joss Load. And I'd advise Wade to lose a few pounds or so... I for one, have never seen an episode of Ben 10 (though I think I've heard the name), so I really don't have an idea of what you're talking about. Not to mention the fact that I haven't voted yet (split between Joss/Wade and Joss/tweeb...)

I vote Wade due to process of elimination. The age thing is huge for pre-teens, so all the older people are out. I'm kicking the Tweebs out because I'd rather avoid the first cousin thing (if it's love I'll support it, but better not to encourage it). And Arty Smarty's out for general brattiness. So, Wade.

... I'd rather avoid the first cousin thing (if it's love I'll support it, but better not to encourage it). The basically sums up my general view of the cousin thing; it's OK for a bit, but don't overdo it (i.e. I don't necessarily think it's immoral for Joss and one of the tweebs to wed, but extremes (like the intermarrying royal families have a tendency to do) should be avoided. Saw "Mentor" again today. Artie would have to clean up his look, at least, if he wanted a chance with Joss, IMHO...

And I'd advise Wade to lose a few pounds or so... Hey! Just more of him to love...but he might end up losing more. I for one, have never seen an episode of Ben 10 (though I think I've heard the name), so I really don't have an idea of what you're talking about. Well, Ben and Gwen are cousins...and people actually put them together romantically. It just goes to show you how insanely desperate some people are for shipping. I'd like to think that there's a bit more imagination running through this fandom.
