Wondering what people thought of Barkin's role in the finale.

As THE Barkin Fangirl, I thought he was funny. I like goofy Barkin. He doesn't have to big and brave all the time. Aliens were attacking.

I wanted to hear your take on it. I like him mainly for the comedy but he's grown on me as a character in general these past few months. He certainly wasn't brave in this, and I wondered if that would disappoint.

I really wasn't, and I think I even surprised myself with that. I thought he was adorable. I figure he's been through enough that he deserves to freak out on occassion. I mean, Ron does it all the time and no one complains. He's still considered brave.

Everyone freaks out every once in a while, and if you're going to freak out, an Alien Invasion is a time I'd not be too surprised about it. So yeah, I agree.
I felt a bit bad that his car kept getting vaporized ;D

Personally, I'd wish Barkin would have acted more as a man during the Alien Invasion, or that at least Nana would have actually told him to pull himself together and he managing to do it.

Well... Someone must administer the Graduation Ceremony and he's the only professor left or that is what it seems to be...

I have to say, the way he told Ron that this was the best time of his life... He was very, very far away from his usual "tough but fair" attitude. He was basically bullying Ron, so I really disliked him in this episode.

I always like Barkin. He is kindof insecure though he tries to act cool. ;D

I've always loved Barkin. I felt so sorry for him in the finale, watching him freak and have a total PTSD flashback. I'd love to see an episode with Barkin visiting a therapist for PTSD.

I just don't like how it's always Patrick Warburton who's voicing the "big, strong, and dumb" characters. It's getting to be very redundant.

I've often wondered how he has thought about the fact he keeps getting tagged for those sort of voice roles. As for Barkin himself I liked how we saw more of him in season 4 and how he had more depth than just Kim and especially Ron's high school nemisis. I know most people don't like the episoce but he, or specifically his dad, had some great lines in Cappin' Drakken.

warburton is popular for his voice though, it's giving him a good amount of roles, i don't know if he really complains about that.
Barkin was great the last episode.

...if you're going to freak out, an Alien Invasion is a time I'd not be too surprised about it... I can't remember what I saw this in, but what you said made me think of the following exchange. "This is no time to panic." "It's a perfect time to panic!"
