Among the many versions of Shego's parents I've seen, there was one in which Shego's mother was a Hippie that never grew out of this, and currently lived in a nudist camp. XD ...where did you you see that In a two-part fic. Kitten Possible: First part, where Kim gets turned into a cat (thanks of DNAmy). But Shego's mother is barely mentioned in this one. Kim Powered: When Kim somehow got powers similar to Shego, the villainess must take her to the only person who once was able to train her and her brothers to cope with her powers: Her mother.

Well, I always use StarvingLunatic's versions of Team Go's parents in my writing, so you know my views on the issue.

Well, I always use StarvingLunatic's versions of Team Go's parents in my writing, so you know my views on the issue. StarvingLunatic made what's probably the most popular version of Shego's mother, Isabel. But for what I've seen, she made two versions of their father, appearing in different fics (both characters married to Isabel). One is Jason, from the saga starting in "Walking the Line", and the other one is Kane, from "In The Middle" (which I still got to read), and now StarvingLunatic's making a story exclusively about Isabel and Kane (Seems like Kane turned out to be more popular than Jason) I think that's about it.

Yep. Two versions of the father . One is pretty beloved by everyone (Kane), and one is pretty despised by everyone (Jason). Now, truth be told I've been very critical of Lun'ika's handling of Jason - even going so far as to coin the term 'Jason Gooding Syndrome' for the condition of an author not being able to develop a character, either in any meaningful way, or past the stage of aggressor in particular 'sitch - especially in regards to her story Against the World. Kane on the other hand just can't do wrong; he's like Ron on the rocks with an extra dose of crazy, except that because of who created him everybody loves him regardless (Sorry, but some reviewers have just really eaten away with me with their attitudes towards Ron). Oh, and by-and-by, Something's Gotta Give is indeed a great story (I just got done writing a review for the latest chapter), though I really can't say about it's 'sequel', mostly because of my ultra-hardliner positions against multiple partnerships.

Well, I still gotta read most of that (honestly, around all that, the only things I've read so far are "Walking the Line" and "On a Short Leash", LOVED both). So, other than that, I can't share much opinions, unfortunatelly. What I can share, though, is how much I love Isabel. She's just such a... special character. Hard to predict, and having such a... hard relationship with her family, even though she clearly loves them all. That's specially notable between her and Shego. Another fic I've seen that portrayed quite interesting versions of her parents, if you're interested, is Small Surprises, Big Consequences. Trust me on this, is not what you'd expect.

She's just such a... special character. Hard to predict, and having such a... hard relationship with her family, even though she clearly loves them all. That's specially notable between her and Shego. True that. I even have her featured in my own writing (Thanks to SL), though I did give her a bit more backstory in regards to her father - Lt. Walter Han: pilot; shot down and presumed dead over 'Nam when Isabel was 8; died in the Hanoi Hilton many months after being captured by the Vietcong. Another fic I've seen that portrayed quite interesting versions of her parents, if you're interested, is Small Surprises, Big Consequences. Trust me on this, is not what you'd expect. I've heard about that story. It's listed as Kigo, but the reviews say no, which I find both interesting and incredibly risky. The art for it though is fantastic, and featured exclusively Agni and Joss, which is also very confusing. Personally I don't know what to make of it.

*cough*cough* Really?! I've read more then you! How ironic is that? Quite ironic ^^U. Of course, I'm planing to read it all, just taking my time and reading some others authors besides StarvingLunatic. Currently I'm reading Slyrr's work, and may I say, I love his portrayal of Kim so far. And now you're giving me the link of that story to add to my to-read list. Another fic I've seen that portrayed quite interesting versions of her parents, if you're interested, is Small Surprises, Big Consequences. Trust me on this, is not what you'd expect. The art for it though is fantastic, and featured exclusively Agni and Joss, which is also very confusing. Personally I don't know what to make of it. True to be told, while Kim and Shego are getting closer in what there is of the fic so far, there STILL no romance happening. We're awaiting it, though. But regarding the art about Agni and Joss, that's not exactly from this story. Mostly about someone else's story who, with the aproval of Zearth/Trackula/Festum (the guy has many names ^^U), is writting a Agni/Joss fic in which they both are around 17, I think (haven't read that one yet). But the original fic basically starts when Kim "discovers" Agni, the daughter Shego had when she was just 14 years old. And from there, a lot happens. Kim starts learning a lot about Shego's past, and recently has met her parents, which, like it happened to her, it's not what you would expect. Just trying to erase your confusion.

Currently I'm reading Slyrr's work, and may I say, I love his portrayal of Kim so far. Want some more weirdness? I'm reading his latest story right now (I'm behind by several chapters). But yeah, you're probably gonna finish her books, I'm not. And now you're giving me the link of that story to add to my to-read list. Uh, no I'm not. The story's rated ' M', I can not give you the link on the forums here. If you want to find it though, all you have to do is go to my FF.net page (That house beneath my avatar) and look for Marine. I currently only have three chapters to it posted, but I'm working on the forth, and I do have most of the series planed out (Going all the way to the 27 th century and back to the Heian Period of Japanese history). It's just a matter of actually doing the typing. I've heard about that story. It's listed as Kigo, but the reviews say no, which I find both interesting and incredibly risky. Well, no offense but I'd prefer to stay away from any Kigo, for previously stated reasons, but I'll read the fic all the same, just as soon as I'm done with A Friend in Darkness.
