Well where I live about 80% of the kids who go to my school are Spanish (and I'm one of the 20% who isn't) and she doesn't seem Hispanic. I would say South American too, but it seems like she has some Jamaican in her.

No te preocupes, no estoy molesta ni nada, I know you didn't mean to insult me. Aqui en Venezuela hay apellidos extranjeros because of the inmigration. I'm my case, my last name is Italian. Y hay apellidos de otras partes de Europa y apellidos que se originan en Venezuela tambien. Y no sabia que Linea Patrulla se referia a una mixed race, that's interesting. And yeah, we could definitely be guessing where Zita is from, but the possibilities are way too varied. She could even be just American as well, and only have the latin descent. I really have to listen how their English dialogs are like, the accent and all that.

A ver, un poquito de por favor por aqui, mantengamos la calma que no somos mayoría. ;D Lets stick to english since this forum is based on an English-speaking majority, but on the other hand, it's good to know there are so much Spanish speakers here. About the Zita origin thing, I always thought she was Mexican don't know why. and she is DEFINETLY not argentinan or Spanish (as in from Spain), i've met people from argentina and Zita doesn't have that type accent, the same happens with the Spanish origin, I'm from Spain and she doesn't have Spanish accent.

Zita was born in Middleton, so that makes her American.
As to her ancestry, I'm afraid that may forever remain a mystery.
And yeah, the rules of the board DO say English must be used to post here, but I, too am happy to see a lot of Spanish speakers here.
Todos en ingles, por favor....

Zita was born in Middleton, so that makes her American. Are you sure? I don't recall any evidence of her being a "native" Middletoner, or any evidence to the contrary (I used to think she was the "new girl," but now I don't think that's necessarily the case...)

and what does it have to do for Zita to be all american???
i mean if her parents were Mexican-born...then she's Mexican-American

Isn't Zita's last name Flores? That's Spanish, so it makes her Hispanic. The writers have never specified which Hispanic culture she is from, though.

The writers have never specified which Hispanic culture she is from, though. yeah but according to my friend Hernán,his friend Alexandre Flores is from Fábrica do carro,El Conq. which by the way is a portuguese speaking city and region of El Conquistador...so i may d'accord with you 50% cause remember spanish and portuguese are cousins and closely related...only thing is that it is pronounced differently but written the same way...i also speak Spanish(1)...english(20)...and portuguese(3) with a 30% of knowledge so maybe she could be from Brazil or El conquistador(Asântana)like i said earlier in this thread
