I got one of the bendy/magnetic hand KP figures on Ebay - mainly because it has the best 'head-sculpt' of all the toys I've seen.
Only, the body is...terrible.
So, I'm off to Target in the morning to pick up a "Bratz" or "My Scene" doll and try to graft the head onto one of them. Only problem is I hate actually buying one of those things, like I'm somehow validating those terrible child-very friendly person dolls.

Yeah, I so wouldn't buy the ruddy Bratz.
My 9 year old cousin collects and owns a ton of them and it just makes me sick.

I saw an auction on ebay for someone who did a KP head transfer of that particular figure to a Bratz body. Didn't look half bad. I don't mind the Bratz dolls. It's Barbie I abhor. She's got more unrealistic goals and the like added to her resume then any other doll on the market from how I see it. I definitely see her as a worse role model in a lot of aspects. Especially past body types of her. I won't get into a rant on that here though ~Mara

But Barbie is far more moral than the Bratz doll. I mean... look at how they dress!

You forget something ABL. The Barbie Franchise is at least 40 years old which means that's done a lot of changing over that time. Especially over a certain Revolution in the 70's. Barbie has dress just as bad if not worse then the Bratz do in the past. It's not necessarily moral as it is the times.
Do what you feel is right Commander Argus.

I have to agree with AshleyBenlove here. Barbie is a much better role model than these Bratz dolls. Yes Barbie is physically unrealistic, but that's more acceptable in my mind than what the Bratz embody. Besides, has anyone ever done a study on GI Joe's for boys, in the same way it was done for Barbie? I mean, I know it's not completely the same, but I think the data would go both ways, but that's a different topic.
Bratz are just obnoxious. Every time I see a commercial for these things, it sickens me. First of all, that z instead of s fad went out a long time ago. The movies? They preach about family and friendship, with a new hip hop beat. Yet the animation is horrible, and it's no longer subtle. They come out and just say it!
I forgot about the makeup stuff. These young girls, under 10, are getting advertised for MAKEUP! by the bratz dolls. I don't ever remember Barbie doing that. This lies along the vein of the Thong abercrombie advertised and sold to 7-11 year olds. It's disguting. Plus Barbie was hot.....

Well, I won't be playing with the dolls anytime soon but I still like the dolls. I had a ton over the years. Barbie is just... cool.

I feel this will work because the Bratz body is about the right size, but I'll be yanking that creepy head off of it (prolly gonna burn it)

Burn that thing.
Do everything you can to destroy it.

Bratz are what our free market Capitalism, combined with our crumbling, culturally-barren society, was destined to lead to. That, and a number of other hideous, detestable things which should have never existed. In a perfect world, the man (I assume it was a man, anyway) who proposed that those dolls be made, would have been imprisoned immediately, for committing treason against the State. By the way, I find your name and signature to be very funny.

Hmm, I think you're right...we still have yet to see KP figures that look like how she looks in the show! I'd buy them, then... I wonder if they will release new toys for the new season?

Other than TPTB mentioning there would be merchandise, there hasn't been any buzz about it. Maybe they're waiting for Kim's new look to be unveiled.

Well, if they do decide to make new figures, I hope they will still make the old mission clothes, too! No matter how cool the new look is, I still have mad love for the cargo pants ;D And hopefully the body proportion will be better, too
