I was clicking though channels and saw a show called "Kim Possible". I thought it was an odd name so checked it out. I was hooked by the witty humor and got a kick out of the cut downs and comebacks between Kim and Shego. I never even watched DC before. Kim is still the only reason I watch DC now.

I think most people just happened on KP and either said yay or nay, but eventually fell in love.

;D Now that KP finished , I want to know how did you know the show at first time.? Well you know, I was just a little ten-year-old girl who saw about a new TV show about a teen crime fighter. So I watched the show and was interested, I wasn't really a fan, and over the "pre-teen years" I just watched it if nothing else was on. Then when So the Drama came, i decided to watch i because it looked cool, and then, out of no where, when Kim and Ron kissed at the end, I broke out crying in happiness. I guess a year after that or so, I started look more at Kp stuff and I came across all this stuff about it being saved , then I got into message boards and Fanfics...and every clicked from then on. ;D

I started this obsession young and will finish it old. I have watched it ever since it came out. I love the Comedy, Action, Danger, and Rufus. Plus, my secret dream was to be someone like Kim. *sighs* it'll never happen but at least KP is here for me to watch and enjoy.

The show hasn't finished yet ;D Or has it in Australia?! Anywho, I first caught the show on a Saturday morning three years ago. I was flicking through channels, and caught Kim Possible doing some stunt. "A Sitch In Time" - Parts 2 and 3 [aka. Past and Future] were the episodes that got me hooked. But I think Royal Pain was the first episode I ever saw.

I was surfing through channels after just having cable installed and found the show playing.
Instantly hooked by the artwork, animation style, and the voices. The MUSIC is one of the best things about the show, too!
I recognized John Di Maggio and Nicole Sullivans' voices immediately.

Well in the year 2002 DC Asia keep promoting KP like endlessly and i thought it was a dumb thing and like some stated the name was weird so i gave it a shot. When it aired i saw S1 and well i watched the entire season but didnt get hooked but when S2 came out with better animation etc and stuff i became a die hard fan.

Woo...deja vu! I think I've posted in a similar thread already last year. Gah, too lazy to search for the thread! LOL! ;D
Anyway, I got curious when I first saw the KP promo on DC Asia in my parent's place (I didn't have my own subscriptions to DC Asia back then), and I got a little excited everytime I see KP flying across the TV screen with her grappling hook. When I saw the premiere ep (I think it was Crush), I was hooked ever since! If I'm not mistaken, KP premieres on DC Asia somewhere towards the end of 2002, so this year shall be me my 5th year as a KP fan! ;D
KP is the best animated show I've seen in yearssss....and KP was the only reason why I took up my own subscriptions for DC Asia!

Like every single one of my favorite television shows, it was an accident.
It just happened that on an August 2003 night at 10 pm, I was watching Disney Channel after a Boy Meets World episode ended and I decided not to go to bed, but to see what was on next. It turned out to be KP. It was a decision that changed my life. That was it, no one told me about the show, I hadn't gone out of my way to see it. It just happens that every show that I ever liked, I found by accident (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, The Golden Girls, Will & Grace, Scrubs...)

I've repeated this story several times -- sorry if you've seen it before. I came across Kim Possible because I wanted to watch The Simpsons! You see, we didn't get cable until early 2004. Back then we were excited about all the channels, especially my wife when she discovered Lifetime: Television for Women. Oy...! And it turns out that she really liked Lifetime's programming on Sunday nights. Up until then we had always battled about what to watch on network TV on Sundays. Of course, I wanted to watch the Simpsons, but she didn't like that show . Turns out she's never been a big fan of cartoons. She didn't do the Saturday morning locked to the TV screen as a kid. So I set about trying to find a cartoon that she liked, and then hopefully I could parlay that into me watching the Simpsons. So as I was browsing the cable channels I always stopped at any cartoon to 'just give it a look'. Of course, with her in the room, I was looking out the corner of my eye to see if she was any bit interested. After a while I came across Kim Possible. I thought that I had found my answer! Given her liking of Lifetime, I thought a cartoon with a strong female lead would surely get her interested in cartoons! Didn't work out that way. She watches the show and enjoys it, but I'm the big fan. Oh, btw.... I still don't get to watch the Simson's....

I knew and watched Kp from day 1, but I didn't become a fan straight away. Then I tried to draw fan art. Then I realized that I couldn't draw Kp for nuts. Then I got mad and got obsessed with Kp watching every episode in minute detail, downloading all the model sheets, recording every episode I could find. Just to be able to draw her. Then I got hooked onto the show for other reasons apart from art. Then I grew to adore the storyline, and the shippyness. Ooooh I love the shippyness. I ship anything now
