Thoughts on Wireless optical mouse? Optical mice are certailny all-that and a bag of chips. The lack of a track-ball to get jammed-up with dust, lint and other miscelaneous crap is certainly a plus, along with not needing a mouse pad. (Except when working on a glass-top table, I have found.) As for the wireless part, THAT much I believe to be over-rated. The cord really doesn't pose much of a challenge, (at least for me), and having to deal with the receiver unit, as well as its bundle of wires, is actually more trouble than the mouse cord was to begin with.

What is Stockton, Cali like?

What is Stockton, Cali like? It's pretty much the armpit of California, or as San Francisco newspaper columnist Herb Caen once called it "the hotbed of absolutely nothing." Seriously though, as much of a pit as the town may be, it's not without its redeeming qualities. It's population is growing by about 10,000 per year, (mainly fugitives from the insane real estate markets of the greater SF bay area), and after nearly 20 years of foot-dragging by elected officials, there's a concerted effort to re-develop the downtown area. Stockton is also home to the largest inland deep-water port on the west coast, so we have that going for us as well.

Well, I've never been a big Yankees fan, so I'm not really crazy about the guy or anything. However, he is one of the best sources for off-the-wall, non-sensical statements that you're going to find anywhere. For this reason, I am a fan. Some of his better remarks... (Regarding the tendency of Yankee Stadium's high rim to throw long shadows in the afternoon:) "It sure gets late early around here." (Regarding a popular new restaurant in New York:) "That place is so crowded that nobody goes there anymore." "The trouble with baseball is that they give you a round bat, a round ball, and they tell you to hit it squarely." (This one actually rings true, in its own way.)

I recently watched 'V for Vendetta', ever seen it? 'Fraid not. I did just sign up for a Netflix account, however, so maybe I'll put that one on my list.

Oh heck... So many choices, so little table space. ;D If I was forced to pick just one, I'd probably go with pastrami. There's nothing better than a good pastrami sandwich, IMO.

Are you watching KP at all lately?

Are you watching KP at all lately? Not really, I'm ashamed to admit. By this point, I've seen every episode at least four times, so there's nothing there that I can't recall from simple memory. When there's nothing new, I tend to grow bored rather quickly. Right now I'm just waiting for season four and filling the gap with fan fiction. (Mostly reading, with a tiny smidge of writing thrown in for good measure.) It's a good way to get my fix.

Tonight, it's COLD! Tempature is suposed to drop below freezing tonight, which is somewhat rare, although not unheard of. Tomorow is partly cloudy with a chance of rain later in the afternoon. On the bright side, it's not snowing!

So, do you like Scooby Doo?

So, do you like Scooby Doo? While I never got to be a big fan of the show, I'll admit that it has it moments. Also, it got Casey Kasem working again, so there's some good there as well. Overall, the plotlines never varried enough to keep the show interesting. The characters and locations may have changed, but the sequence of events was nearly the same for each episode: -Stumble onto a mystery -Run around screaming -Find some conveinently-forgotten piece of evidence -Spring a trap that works to spite going horribly wrong -Unmask the bad guy -"Blah blah... medling kids... blah." Once you've seen about 20 episodes, it starts to get old.

Currently it's 28 degrees at the airport, which is stupid because I can't think of anyone who lives at the airport. Tonight's forecast calls for dark. Anticipated to be mostly dark tonight, gradually achieving widely-scattered light by morning. Tonight's low: 25 degrees Tomorow's high: Whenever I get up! (insert rim-shot here) ;D (Always remember: If you don't like the weather... MOVE!!!)
