Haha. That's why people make fun of the South. Because of the accents and they're crazy beliefs back in the day. LOL. How far are you ancestors livin in the south?

The Binches, three generations (Great grandfather Binch was born in Calverton, England) My Dad's mother is a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson, so that's Virginia ties. My Mom's side of the family are descended from Scots and Scots-Irish in the NC mountains. So you can say I have some southern roots.

A fellow model railroader, I see. Do you subscribe to "Model Railroader?" What scale do you model in? Got a layout? Favorite locomotive? Favorite model that you own? Models on your wishlist?

A fellow model railroader, I see. Do you subscribe to "Model Railroader?" What scale do you model in? Got a layout? Favorite locomotive? Favorite model that you own? Models on your wishlist? I'm more of a 'lapsed' model railroader - I haven't done any in years I was more partial to "Railroad Model Craftsman" than MR I was pure HO (though I did custom work in N) My layout is in ruins - thanks to a failed roof. The layout room is more of an attic now Favorite, of course, is the GS-4 My favorite model, however, is an engine that doesn't really exist - an EMD F-35 (made from an Athearn FP-45 shell cut down and mounted on a GP-45 frame with a tenshodo can motor and regear kit) painted in Southern Railway passenger colors. Think of a F40 with a front porch. I may look into that new GS-4. Don't care about the sound system since it would be a display model (I have a special display shelf my father helped my build many years ago)

Ouch, sorry to hear about the roof. I've never built a layout before (except for a 4x8 table my dad set up once) but I want to. And I model in HO scale, too.

Hmm, okay it's december and well it's my first time not going to New York so I'm gonna bring this up.
Ever see the Rockette Christmas show, and if you have and can remember the outfits well, what's some you could picture some KP cast members wearing.
