I just haven't really had time to come to the board, plus, with KP over, I've been in a "KP Depression" since the show ended, that I didn't want to thikn about it, but now I'm ready to get back to my KP fandom, and hopefully make some more videos. I know that feeling. I wept the entire day after KP ended. I was so sad for a while. But, I decided to leave my mind open, as I didn't know what the future hold and if I found something else, that would be okay. And I did. Luckily it was a funny show, because the laughs helped me get over the sadness, and within two months, I was healed. Granted, I haven't watched a full episode of KP since it ended, but the reasoning for that is simple. It first was because I didn't want to, because I was afraid of my feelings, afraid I'd cry more. Now, it's because IMAGINE how refreshing it will be to watch KP again after a long break. Some episodes I saw so many times that it wasn't fun. But, when I finally do watch them, it'll be great.

Well, I've been going for two years now, and got an APS (Associative Degree of Public Service), so I'm going on as a cop. Its what i've wanted to be for a long time. But, yeah, nothing is official, but I've done my training and classes, so I'm ready to start as a city cop. I still have to take another training course for city cops, but I'll be working with another officer while doing so.

I had no idea that there was a degree for cops. You learn something everyday.
So, what is the appeal to being a cop?

I couldn't imagine the life of a police dispatcher. Especially in a big city. Every who's calling you is either yelling into your ear, hysterical, thinking they're infallibly right, or angry.
How do cops and police dispatchers get along? Are their any safety measures or procedures in place in case one of the dispatch guys has a really bad day?

I had no idea that there was a degree for cops. You learn something everyday. So, what is the appeal to being a cop? Well, you can get different degrees for different services. I do not think you even have to have a degree to be a cop, but you do have to have your high school diploma or GED. Like, a degree in criminal justice. You can get that. In fact, I've started a college online course for that purpose. It helps if you wish to work in a more advanced field such as the FBI. The appeal is different for anyone you ask. Mine is to help people and get out there and make sure that society can run on order. Yes, there are deep responsibilities and times when you have to debate whether you did the right thing or not, but it comes with the job. I enjoy it though. I have fun. ;D

Since I'm a new officer, I tend to ride with my superior, and he helps me handle some of the stuff. I have rode out myself and it was different, but you'd be surprised how organized we are on radios, especially since we deal with many issues. We get along fine. We don't see dispatchers, so we don't usually talk. They call us in, send us on a call, and we respond. if you have a bad day, you really need to set those emotional feelings aside, and do oyur job. People count on you to do so.

Is it really your birthday, or did you... lie to the board? And nice to see you back. Reality invaded, I'm guessing?
