Sure thing, we'll hit it again when I get back. Painting is sort of Zen-like, relaxing in it's way. I usually jusy listen to the sounds of the bay, about the only time I listen to music is when I'm driving. Catch you later. See you later. For when you get back, what are some of your favorite musical artist? did I ever answer this one? If not: ZZTop, Clancey Brothers, Weird Al Yankovic, Hank Williams, Men At Work, Dubliners, Chieftans, Dire Straits, Buckwheat Zydeco, Queen, Jimmy Buffet, to name those that come to mind most readily (probably heard them recently). I don't typically follow any particular artist but tend more to like individual songs by lots of different people in a wide range of genres. Most of the time I don't even know who performed it. I didn't ever want to be a musician or in a band, I don't get as worked up over music as most of my firends do, I never became distressed over a band breaking up, as many people I have known have done. Between that and a complete lack of interest in spectator sports, conversation at parties may be difficult at times.

Sounds like Charlotte, you like music but don't pay too much attention to names and genres.

That is kind of funny, it's probably a pretty small population, given what I recall about high school.

As the Duke would say: not hardly. I functionally rebelled against my own age group.

As the Duke would say: not hardly. I functionally rebelled against my own age group. Odd, even in high school, I felt I could relate better to people much older than me. I was very good friends with several of my teachers and friend's parents.

I've often felt that high school was just a hole in my life before college.

I've often felt that high school was just a hole in my life before college. I didn't think it was that bad, though I am glad I got out of it and went to college. Overall better people in higher education.

Overall better people in higher education. I suspect that a big part of it is that high school is mostly a social exercise and I'm not very social. I don't think I've even talked to anyone I went to high school with in at least ten years, most not since I graduated. My lasting firendships seemed to come out of either the service or college.

isuspect a lot of it had to do with going through more with the post high school bunch. I just never really did anything with the high school folks, my interests lay elsewhere relative to theirs, not much common ground.

I was in the biology, film and chess clubs (I know, nobody talks about chess club), but I was never at any one high school for more than a year or two, so none of it really took. Lots of career related moving. I could easily walk down the street in any of the towns I went to high school in completely unnoticed.

Ha, y'all totally missed mah awesome shot on the pool table in this bar and grill.
