Sooo...a question. Ummm - what minor personality traits do you find most annoying in people?

1. People who think they're just better than everyone.
2. Unrelentingly cheerful, upbeat all the time people. There's a person like this at work and I can't stand them at all.

Usually twice on a weekday. Once in the morning before work, once in the evening.
It's on a list of message boards that I sort of go through in a day. Each one gets a 5 minute glance or so.

A friend of mine in AR actually took pics of a reasonably interesting set of cars at a stealership that had been traded in the CfC program. There were some neat things there. Like this: darn near mint Eldo. Plus other neat stuff. Older BMW's, an oddball 1-ton shortbed/dually/singlecab GMC pickup, several RWD Lexuses, clean old rust-free Dodge trucks, older Toyota trucks that hadn't been attacked by rust, a funkycool 2-door Trooper, etc. Shame. Cars that would've probably done well at getting *somebody* around.

I was able to see the good ideas of the program, and I figured that most old cars would be traded in by people who *aren't* car people and would therefore be cars that probably weren't loved much to begin with. Then I saw that Eldo and felt like I'd been punched in the junk Punched in the junk by an amped-up tweaker chick with bony knuckles.

When I first hear about it, I was like, "That makes sense." Then my buddy told me what happened to the "clunkers" and I was not happy.

We'll just have to do our part to buy old/interesting cars and save them from the crusher that way, like the millions of car nuts who came before us.

I've got $4 in my wallet and about a buck's worth of change in my pocket. Unless I want to spend tuition money on a car, I think I won't be buying anything for a while either

Unless I want to spend tuition money on a car, I think I won't be buying anything for a while either A former friend of mine is buying a car shortly. I'm jealous, and I almost want to go with her just to look at them. However, the downside to going with her is that I would be with her, and that would suck the joy right out of it.

I think she wants a Saturn. It's a good starter car for someone who doesn't know anything about them.

I just hope new Saturns are less naco-y than old Saturns.
