Yeah, there's this retarded rule at my school that you can't dye your hair. Stupid, right? Hair color should be optional. And if I get a check on my report card next year for having a different hair color than this year, my mom would totally verbally abuse the principal, lol.

I have a few jackets. More than I actually need living here, but I love being able to wear something with long sleeves. I guess since it's hardly ever called for here, that's why I like wearing them the most. How old were you the first time you experienced snow? Was it just like you imagined it would be? It was 2001 when I first saw snow in New Jersey. We had to go there for a funeral. It was so fun. I spent three hours making a pathetic snowman, and started a snowball fight at a graveyard. Good thing I was so short back then, because I could hide behind the tombstones.

Well, I knew it'd be wet, but it wasn't nearly as cold as I thought it would be. Even at night. I only had to wear a shirt and a sweater. Florida winters were a lot colder then the snow.

That's because you were in Jersey where everything is second rate except for their goaltender. You should try a Canadian or a Northern New York winter.

I went to New York City in the beginning of May in 2007. And I had to wear a jacket everyday. It was still pretty cold. But the coldest weather I've ever been in was just last November when I went to Alabama. I've never been so cold in my life. One night, it was 17 degrees. I could barely take it.

My family went to NYC this past winter and nearly froze! I've never been so cold! We went to a NY Giants game (their stadium is actually in Jersey) and it was like 8 degrees or something. And there was about half a foot of snow. My youngest daughter and I spent most of the game in the ladies bathroom, where it was at least a tiny bit warmer. I told my husband I was not doing that again.
So - we're considering going to Tampa, Florida this fall so he can see the Giants play there and the kids and I can do something fun and warm. Any suggestions as to what to do in Tampa with a 9 and 7 year old?

Hey, Tina! How's it going? I finally got to see an episode of True Blood, thanks to my mother's zealous over the Sookie Stackhouse novels and one free week of HBO (because my parents are a little too cheap to pay to the full DirectV package, but oh well ) Turns out, I caught the last episode in season 1, "You'll Be the Death of Me", but I know enough about the books and the show to know what was going on. And I gotta tell you, Tina, I absolutely loved it! ;D The plot was fasinating and the characters are gripping and all very likable. My verdict on the guys; Jason is an idiot, but cute, Eric is evilly hot, Bill is really hot, cool, and I love his house, and Sam is really, really hot and cool overall, and looks really good without a shirt (or anything for that matter, because he seems to have the same problem as Jacob, lol). But I'm gonna look into the rest of the series soon. This is a very promising story, more than Twilight, from what I see.

Disney World! It is in Orlando, but I don't think it's very far away from Tampa. I would say Busch Gardens, but it's mostly rollar costers, and I don't think you're little girls are big enough yet. Actually, I'm sure of it. But they'd absolutely love Disney World. And thats not the only option. There's tons of things to do. I can't really think of what exactly's there, but I highly doubt you'll be bored.

I can't wait, because I have no one to talk about it with except my step mother, who is also a hug fan, but we've talked about everything and it gets kinda boring with her after a while. I have all the Sookie Stackhouse books too. I got the set for Christmas. I haven't read any of them yet, because I have so many freaking books I could start my own library. I really loved the last episode, even though Bill didn't really have the big hero moment I wanted for him. He was too busy burning to a crisp. Haha. Poor thing. I freaking love him. My step mom has a crush on Jason, but Bill is the one we root for, and even talk like all the time. We love how he says Sookie. ;D I didn't really find Eric all that hot to be honest. I didn't like his voice, and he seems like he has no personality. But I heard he becomes more important in the second season, which begins in June and I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So maybe my feelings will change. I just hope it's not who I think it is that was the dead body in the car at the very end. But I have a feeling it is. Darn!

I only like Eric because I know a few things about from the series. But my mom wouldn't spoil who was dead in the back of the car, only that it was a good shocker.

But if I get an interesting vacation to a place I've never been before out of it, I can sit through a few hours of football. We definitely want to go to Disney World, but this trip to Tampa will be short...maybe 3 nights. We want to spend a week when we go to Disney... hopefully next year. It's soooo expensive! I've been (a while ago) and I know it's worth it, but still...expensive. I'm sure we won't be bored, too. If we stay somewhere with a pool, my kids will be happy.

He about freaked, because he thought I had seen one of the earlier ones with all the sex. I explained that I wasn't watching the rest of the series until my mother finished it, so she could give me a verdict on the content (we bought the season set). Wasn't season 2 released this week?

No, it's in about two weeks. And I don't know if your mother will let you watch it. It has a lot of sex... A lot a lot of sex.
