Thoughts on last night's South Park? It made me feel ashamed and sad (for Britney) and I also feel comforted in the fact that nothing will be as awesome as seeing Kyle in a blond wig and sunglasses for half that episode. There's just something inherently amazing, awesome, cute, and funny about a nine year old redheaded Jewish boy in a blonde wig, a little hat, and sunglasses.

I felt bad for Britney too. I wanted to see what became of Butters though, after the news report scene, but then again, he would of just been grounded by his idiot parents. Oh one more thing....
That ending, downright horrifying, and so true. I hope that poor girl was watching last night. Not a fan of her, but I used to listen to music like that. I am sick of all the merchandising though. She better be on her toes, because the hunt is on, or make that, the harvest.

Yeah, I agree. I like some of HM's music (I don't like her as person but I have some of her stuff on my iPod, I'm embarrassed to say), and I remember watching the episode and thinking, "I wonder if that girl is watching and what she'll think." Haha, Butters went to the hospital for psych treatment. I love how Cartman was the first one to bail after Britney shot herself, followed by Butters... and then Stan and Kyle who owned up and took care of her for the rest of the episode. It's a shame they failed. The ending was pretty f'd up but it made me inexplicably hungry for corn on the cob. And I must admit, Kyle looks GREAT as a blond.

Have you seen the stuff about the new South Park at SPS?
"In a South Park homage to the 1981 film, “Heavy Metal”, the boys are trying to get Kenny off the latest drug craze that’s captured the junior high and under set." And apparently, the episode is called Major Boobage.
I just keep thinking of Ron adding 'age' to everything (snackage). And I'm like, "WTF?!" I'm not sure if I should be totally depressed, totally excited, or be like, UGH.
Well, at least Kenny finally gets to do crap.
Also, what are your thoughts on this episode?

Could be good, I've missed the sex-addicted Kenny haha. I saw the clip and wondered what the animation was for. "Heavy Metal" is yet another film I've had an interest in for so long but have yet to watch. Apparently Kyle's parents find his stash, or he probably claims it's not his heh. So that'll be interesting to see.

I hadn't even heard of Heavy Metal until I read about it at SPS. My first thought was "Are they HIGH?"
Which is what I ask for most things anyway.
Pogo sticks?
I'm glad Kenny finally gets to do stuff.
And it's funny, I had read the stuff about it, but for SOME reason, I didn't catch the Kyle's parents part. I think I read it as Kenny. Now I'm like, "Kyle! Jeez!"
But, I'm not surprised. He got high in Smug Alert. His acid trip... greatest scene ever.
What I think what happens is that Kyle, because he cares about Kenny (and he obviously does), he takes Kenny's stash and hides it from him. And then he gets busted for it. Thoughts?

Just watched Smug Alert on SPS. I forgot about Kyle tripping on acid haha, that was too awesome. He probably does hide it to help Kenny....and then Cartman comes over and asks "Why does it smell like Kenny's house in here?"

I'm actually pretty excited about this episode.

Does Butt Out bother you more than it does me? Actually, it only bothers me at seeing the boys smoking.

Does Butt Out bother you more than it does me? Actually, it only bothers me at seeing the boys smoking. It doesn't bother me that much, although the portrayal of Rob Reiner is creepy. As with the scene of the boys trying not to cough in front of Mr. Mackey, the faces they make and all, it's a few seconds of animation that may never been seen again on the show. That assembly scene bothers me now though, Kyle is just wishing that the Butt Out group would just shut up with their singing and dancing, and yet he tried to educate Cartman on the dangers of smoking when he went to jail.

Rob Reiner got the synthodrone treatment at the end. He had goo like the synthrodrone. So when I was talking to my mom about that episode, I was like, "HE'S A SYNTHODRONE!" Haha. Yeah, Kyle is all lecturing Cartman about it, and he smokes too. Their faces were so pink. I wanted to kick their little white Colorado nine-year-old butts. Haha. Ah, well, it is a good episode.
