Okay, my old-ness is probably showing here...who's Kate Bush? Yes, I like Oolong tea...we like tea in my house, and we like hot teas and trying different varieties. I had never had hot tea of any sort until I was 15 and went to England for a summer program through our school, and I really liked it. But of course, in the Southern US, our tea of choice is really sweet, really strong black tea served over a lot of ice. We drink too much soda, too, also iced. It's hot here, we can't help it! Uh, no...Kate Bush was at her most popular in the seventies/eighties, as far as I know, so it's actually the exact opposite of oldness that's showing there. ;D And either way, don't worry, I am extremely not-up-to-date when it comes to the pop of today. I have no idea who half these kids on TV are. Yeah, I get that-- when I liked in Japan, I drank sooooo many beverages so often it was scary! It was just so darn hot and humid! I mostly drank water, juice, hot and cold tea of all kinds, coffee and various milk things. We also had beer and cider etc. There was a liquor store just down the road and we were a big bunch of students living together. *shrugs* There were so many vending machines and convenience stores there I almost couldn't believe it. We also had large amounts of ice cream. Wow, it was hot. Oh, so it's just my un-coolness showing. Oh well. You lived in Japan? I bet that was interesting. How long did you live there? Yeah, alcoholic beverages and students in a foreign country..I'm familiar with that! Lots of vending machines, convenience stores, and ice cream sounds a lot like here. You have to do somehting to stay cool! I have an iced drink constantly. Of course, AC helps a lot. I try to avoid leaving my house unless I have to in August. Last August the highs were in the 100's (Farenheit...I'm not sure how to convert it) and the humidity was around 80% most days. But, our winters are mild and pleasant, so that's some compensation.

I don't play any musical instruments, and I'm not a very good singer. I can sing in a group if I have someone to follow, and I'm a decent dancer. When I was younger and doing plays, I usually played some variety of bimbo, floozy, french maid, dumb blonde, etc. You get the picture. I never got a part based on my singing voice. I've been to Disneyland, but I was 11 years old when I went, so it's been a while. Did you have fun? Disney was amazing. One of the best times I've had in my life. I'm actually kinda glad that my first trip was as an adult. I don't think I would've appreciated how incredible it actually is. What's your favorite style of dance? What's your favorite soup?

I've been to Disneyworld as an adult, and, yeah, it's amazing. Maybe even more so to an adult who knows what a huge undertaking building all that was. But I have to confess, I'm not looking forward to taking my kids. I know that sounds awful, and I know they'll love it, but it's just so huge and overwhelming and expensive and...I don't know. They tend to deteriorateinto little masses of whining after a few hours anywhere. maybe I'll wait a few years. Fave style of dance...I guess tap. I took tap and ballet for years as a child. I also like partner dancing...not exactly ballroom dancing like you see on 'Dancing with the Stars' but the kind of thing you'd see in a Broadway show or something...or like in the movie 'Dirty Dancing'. Hmmm...especially if I could dance with Patrick Swayze. Fave soup...French Onion. Yum! But not a good choice on a date.

So, I'm glad you did! Yeah, when I first started publishing it, I was using a different account on the forum. What did you like about it? Oooh, critiqueing. I suck at that. Can I say 'suck' on here? Well, I just did. But here goes (and I read it a few days ago so I'm going from memory here). I liked Dimension Twist to start with, so I like that you've taken that idea further. I think it's an original idea...having the cartoon characters having to deal with the real world and the real person having to deal with the cartoon world. The whole cigarette bit is really funny, because of course cigs don't exist in KP's universe. Is Nathan going to have a nic fit when he runs out? I liked the way Nathan dealt with Brick. And of course, I liked the D/S part and wonder who gets the bed and what they might discover that (mostly, at least overtly) doesn't exist in the KP universe. Sooo...update soon! Oh, and you guys should sue Disney for stealing your cartoon/reality idea for that movie with Amy Adams in it... Enchanted?

I liked that movie over all, but there were some parts in it I did not like. For example, how does she know what a vacuum is? Also, her song which calls the animal kingdom to her side so they bend to her every whim should not have worked in the real world. And do not get me started on the chipmunk...

Yeah, I actually liked it too, mostly, although there were too many gaps in the logic (like the vacuum). I also don't think New Yorkers would have been swayed as easily as they were in the scene where she's singing in Central Park. I mean, these are New Yorkers for cryin' out loud! And I thought it was a bit selfish of her to cut up the little girls sheets to make herself a dress (not that I have a problem with selfish characters, mind you, I actually tend to like them better, but she was supposed to be all sweetness and light). My kids liked it, although they hated her 'pouffy' dress and preferred the 'real world' person she became at the end. Cynical little realists, they are.

I did like the bus driver, though. I wish she would have gotten a hold of the prince. She would have given him real welcoming party.

I didn't know you were from NY. Are you a Giants fan? We are, even though the only place I've ever been in NY is LaGuardia airport. My husband's been a Giants fan for about 20 years. Yeah, that bus driver would have kicked the prince's you-know-what!

What I said annoyed you or that part in the movie? The movie. I root for the only team that actually plays in New York, the Buffalo Bills. And it would have been great!

Okay, I thought so, but wanted to be sure. Yeah, it seemed out of character. Oh, right, the Giants play in Jersey, right? See, that's as much as I know. I'm only a football fan at all by marriage.

Yes. The Giants play in New Jersey. The Jets do not even have home. They are waiting for the Mets to move out of Shea.

Cause my husband wants us to go see them play maybe next year, and if there's not some Big City Shopping in it for me, he's going alone!
