If Michael Eisner was still the CEO of Disney, and Pixar had been working on Wall*E, this is probably how it would have been animated, rather than using the more expensive CGI...(Using Microsoft Power Point!) No.. Seriously.. this is how Eisner would have done it.. Tucsoncoyote--

This video is not particularly rib-splittingly funny, nor does it have anything to do with KP. However, for those of you who are familiar with FreshLemonade's comic doodles at deviantArt, the drawing style in the video looks just like hers. In fact, I had to run it twice to be absolutely sure it wasn't FreshLemonade's! Also, the video was based on Resident Evil (as is nearly all of her animated videos), and the characters look really cute. (CUTE?? Yes--you have to see it to believe it!) This was done by a 21-year-old amateur artist and video maker who merely used Microsoft Paint and Windows Movie Maker. Amazing what a talented person can do with limited resources. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FYCWFGOVLo

For all of you foamers out there, this is a clip that I shot along the American River in Sacramento about a week ago. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehYra7v7KQg&fmt=18The train is a "director's special," taking company officials on an inspection tour of the region. In and of itself this is mildly signifigant, but the real kicker is the locomotive on the point. This train is being led by none other than Union Pacific # 6936! For those of you not in the know, UP # 6936 is a member of Union Pacific's Centennial-class of locomotives. So named because the first units of the class were delivered just in time for the centennial anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad's completion on May 10, 1969, these machines represent the largest diesel-electric locomotives ever constructed. At a cost of nearly $500,000 each, 47 of these monsters were built between 1969 and 1971. Numbered 6900 through 6946, (a reference to the 1869-1969 anniversary dates), there are 13 of these locomotives surviving today. Of those survivors, # 6936 is the only one still operating. For some perspective on the sheer scale of these monstrosities, just look at the stats... Length: 98' 5" Width: 10' 4" Height: 17' 3" Weight: 270 tons Horsepower: 6,600 Tractive Effort: 136,000 lbs. (From dead stop) 19,800 lbs. (At top speed) Power Plant: Dual 16-645E3A 16-cylinder, turbocharged prime movers Drive System: Eight D-77X traction motors (One per axle) Maximum Speed: 90 MPH Fuel Capacity: 8,200 gallons Oil Capacity: 670 gallons Water Capacity: 600 gallons Maximum Turning Radius: 19.4 degrees
Sort of gives new meaning to the term "heavy metal," doesn't it?

Was singing Bohemian Rhapsody with BD today when I searched for the meaning on the net. Came across this in my search:

General question - should I make a thread for each of my videos, or just make one thread with a link to my YouTube page and/or individual videos?

You can make individual threads or you can do one thread and update it every time you make a vid. Either way. And good to see you here, fireand'chutes!! ;D

But I got to be the Kimmissar of the Armed Forces for the Kimmunist Party out of the deal, so guess that's a plus. This place will probably remain second-tier to the GJA, since I've already got enough time-sucking things to deal with anyway, and devoting a lot of energy to RS.net would probably tank my GPA.

Not a problem! You just do what you have to do... oh, and get my request done. *Puppy-dog pouts*
