The New KP/ADJL Fight For Five and Fight For Three

Alright before starting. I suggest you bring a lunch or a snack as there's going to be a lot of reading to do here.

After much feedback on both the pros and the cons of our recent Kim Possible/American Dragon alliance this has emerged.

The new Kim Possible/American Dragon Fight For Five and Fight For Three. First the name, Disney Animation League as a name is gone. As the majority of you voted to can the name, so it's canned. The working title name is above. And it allows us here at THE FIGHT FOR FIVE to keep the name we started with, while creating a new name for Dragon fans alike.

It's time for us to rediscover our roots and what we all started here together as a family as a unit, as a powerful force Disney has been forced upon to reckon with. It's time once again to save Kim Possible and get a Season Five, to get KP boxset DVD's and KP merchandise. It's time FOR THE FIGHT FOR FIVE to become the FIGHT FOR FIVE again. So if there's no objections. The Fight For Five will remain our Official Name. This is the name everyone knows us as. This is the name Disney already knows and quite frankly hasn't admitted it, but they do loath and fear the name The Fight For Five cause it stands exactly for that. The media knows us by that name. Any change in that name would just weaken everything we've achieved so far together.
For the American Dragons it will be THE FIGHT FOR THREE. This clearly spells out what Dragon fans want. It's straight up and decisive. And together we will be Kim Possible/American Dragon Fight For Five and Three.

There will be two separate campaigns. The Fight For Five will remain and a new Fight For Three shall emerge. A new American Dragon Fight For Three website and forum has been created strictly for American Dragon fans. This is going to be the sister site of The Fight For Five, and all American Dragon fans will have an equal say as to how this site is operated. So far Name, myself, Phil, and Darth have been put as adminstrators, but that all can change, as I really don't care much to be an adminstrator.

We will have both separate KP fighting days and separate Dragon fighting days. And twice each month we shall have a united KP/Dragon day when we fight together for both our shows.

Below is the suggested Kim Possible and American Dragon days, again these days will be voted on by all KP and Dragon fans alike.

Save Kim Possible day will be every 7th of each month as that's when Kim Possible Premiered: June 7, 2002 and last Aired: September 7, 2007. This is a very special day for all of us KP fans and will always make sure Disney knows that.
Save American Dragon day will be every 1st of each month as American Dragon Premiered: January 21, 2005 and last Aired September 1, 2007.
Every 21st (is when American Dragon Premiered) and 29th (as the 29th of November is when Disney announced Season Four of Kim Possible) So every 21st and 29th will be solidarity days, this will be the days when we fight as one. When Kim Possible and American Dragon fans can help each other by showing their support for each others shows and fighting together.

The 21st and 29th will be voluntary for all KP fans who wish to lend their support to both causes. (The same will go for Dragon fans as KP fans in this situation.) No Kim Possible fan or American Dragon fan will be forced to fight for a show they don't believe in or support. This will again be a choice left up to each and everyone of you here.

To help the American Dragons and help ourselves with Kim Possible. Each KP fan must make up their own mind and follow their own hearts in supporting and helping out the American Dragons as the majority of Dragon fans are willing to help us out with Kim Possible.

I for one will be fighting with the American Dragons on their day and our day and on solidarity days. But that is me, each of you who have stuck with THE FIGHT FOR FIVE must make your choice on this matter.

I was wrong to try to force this issue. Even though I did it for the common good of both shows and for the success of Kim Possible getting a Season Five. I had no right to bring this onto any of you. I'm not your leader and I never will be. The only one I ever consider as a leader is Darth and Comrade Chin as they started all this. I just jumped aboard for the ride and found myself never getting off. Man how many stations have I missed so far?

Each of you here are the true fighters and the true supporters. Whether it be for Kim Possible or American Dragon, or for both Kim Possible and American Dragon. When the smokes clears and all of this is said and done. It is your names that will be remembered, your hard work and devotion that will never be forgotten. It is this what brings us together and makes us strong. Bickering, fighting, arguing amongst each other or even holding back your true feelings just because you don't wish to say it, is not how to run a campaign or a fight to save either show. And this all ends now, as we go forth with a new beginning.

Many of you were at the live chat, most weren't. I promised a fair argument here and that is what will be.

The new Kim Possible/American Dragon Fight For Five and Fight For Three has technically broken away from both Save Disney Shows and Save The Shows. We felt this was necessary to preserve what we all started here. To end the bickering and to form a new path that will allow us to get back to business as usual, without any fighting or arguing amongst each other. Will leave that up to the Walt Disney Company to do.

Greg who runs Save Disney Shows and Mike who runs Save The Shows have both been offered membership to our newly formed alliance. Just like you, they'll have one vote, one say in what happens. Neither Greg nor Mike will have adminstrative powers anymore with us here or with Fight For Five or Fight For Three.

Greg and Mike and everyone else have been offered the role of membership here to decide the future and direction of this alliance. And Greg, Mike and everyone else will get one vote, one say in what happens. Something we've been doing since we started the Fight For Five. Neither Greg, nor Mike have been booted out of this alliance, they've just been reduced to the same level as YOU AND I. And ME of course. Back to a one vote, per person say. If Greg and Mike and everyone else wishes to be part of this and agree to it, we welcome them back to the fold. But again it must be their choice to join here.

Which comes down to you. As this decision we've taken is both crucial and probably the biggest change we've done so far. You must make the choice. I will vote upon it, so will Darth, and Phil and Name, but you have an open say in this too. Each of you do.

Don't be shy to voice your opinion, in order to move on, we must say what must be said. Don't agree with this whole thing just because I do, my opinion is my own and that's that. Agree to it because you feel it's the right thing to do, or disagree cause you feel it's not.

But this will never ever become a dictatorship. You people here are family and you've each worked your butts off to make this happen. And you decide our FUTURE.

elvisjj my belief is that we don't need new groups, all needed was just giving the headsup, to tell kp fans who are also jake fans that you can help out Jake, and vice versa, its not forced upon and its not made into a new marketing ploy, its just an option to save one or two shows that an indivual likes.

There's a lot that an alliance like Kim Possible and American Dragon can do together. And marketing is one. Marketing plays a key role in any show getting resurrected. And that's why I looked at the combined efforts of Kim Possible and American Dragon as also a marketing tool. We must hit all angles if we are to achieve our goals. Like resurrecting Super RTL again for our benefits.

and that idea seems forced together, fan bases want to stay has one and that can be hard if it seems like it has to go that way, let kp be marketed, having kp be renewed first helps jakes chances a lot.

Personally I am for the alliance in the terms of "divided but together". KP's alliance will lose no effort, however the ADJL site will need work. We can help them to help ourselves.

Anyways, there was a lot of steam this created, and I am not going to worry about it because we all need time to think about it. I will come back Tuesday night or Wednesday and we will see what needs tweaking

So, two sites, two movements. This is almost what I wanted to see, but then there's this: The Kim Possible/ADJL Fight for Five and Three.

I can't get behind that as it still shows that this is an alliance at its core, not totally separate.

Those that were in the chat know how I feel about this: both movements need to remain totally separate; no alliance or partnership.

I think if the AmDrag camp can bring itself up to be as intense as the KPFFF, then the alliance isn't needed; attack Disney on 2 fronts, but as totally separate, yet equally strong fights. You're still going to have the desired effect if it works, so why bother saying you're working together because of common goals? If you have common goals in the first place and are already working toward those goals at your own seperate pace then there's no need to really work together or support each other.

From my viewpoint this especially applies to the FFF. I heard people say having the ADJL fans on board will also help in the movement in the long run. Now, the FFF has already made a huge name for itself without any support from anyone except the passionate KP fans. So now all of a sudden, they’re going to be better off bringing on a group of people who weren’t doing as well in their own fight and are now basically coming to them for help in more of a last resort type of maneuver? (No offense to the ADJL fans)

Let each side worry about their own affairs, I say. All I think the ADJL fight needs is to be strengthened up a bit and then they should be able to stand on their own pretty well. The way it is now, I personally only see both movements getting hurt by trying to pull this one off in the long run.

To briefly touch on something else related, one thing that Darth_Comrade mentioned in the chat was that the Fight for Three would become a branch of the Fight for Five. From what I gather that means the ADJL fight is basically "in" with the FFF.

Now, I don't understand that at all. If you branch something off of the fight for KP, KP fans are going to be invloved. The way it sounds, KP fans would take over the ADJL fight and get it going. Not what they need or what the FFF should give. You split your focus, and the main group, in this case the FFF, becomes just a little weaker overall.

Personally, I think the FFF is better off on it's own, and the things it has accomplished as such are amazing. To try to branch off something else, I think only hurts the FFF's momentum.

Now, to the main point of this post.

What I think would be the best plan of action, and what I hereby offer for those present, would be to have the key players in the FFF take a period of a few days or so to strengthen the ADJL camp. And I’m talking about really getting them going. Give them everything we have; all the media contacts, all the Disney Executive’s e-mails, the Disney office’s mailing addresses, etc. Train their leaders on the tactics to hit Disney hardest. Get them up to speed on everything they need to lead a strong fight, and then cut them loose all together. If they truly are as passionate about the AmDrag as they say, they should be able to stand on their own two feet rather well, without out our support.

Now, understand, I’m not saying go totally abandon them. Check up on them once and a while, and if they hit a rough patch give them tips on how to get through it. But don’t create a full on alliance. I don’t think either side is going to benefit from it at all. And though I'm not an ADJL fan myself I'll even go as far as to say they'll do great if we give them just a little push in the right direction.

I am in full agreement, I feel more can be done to inform Disney that these two shows are worth saving, by "attacking" from 2 seperate but forceful fronts. As always I will give my all to Kim Possible, but I intend to also give my support to ADJL as well. United we can make change!

I feel that we'll be much more stronger united. Lets say we have 100 people fighting for KP and 100 fighting for ADJL. If we combine our efforts it will be 200 people fighting for KP and 200 fighting for ADJL. A much better chance don't you think?

Think of the past and remember the good times that Disney would give to the fans that watches it and now that Walt Disney is dead they mess up on things for a long time and look what happen to KP and American Dragon. If Walt Disney still alive he would kept the 65 rules and break it. i have no doubts that he would given everything to make the fans that watches these 2 shows and give it for us.

ok, I've said this before, and I'll say it again: I like Kim alone alot better, But I will do ANYTHING to save my kimmy, so Im gonna join.

Again the choice is left up to every single member here who is fighting for Kim Possible or American Dragon.

Some KP fans are also Dragon fans and vice-versa and are willing to fight for both shows, while other KP fans are just that, KP fans and they should be free to fight only for KP if that's what they feel. That goes as well for Dragon fans who are just Dragon fans and feel they only want to fight for American Dragon.

Much of this is both a compromise and will work on trial and error. Hopefully less error if we do this right. Much of this KP/ADJL will be separate, but a part will still be together.

I've already suggested the KP days and the Dragon days. But again this is a suggestion. It will be voted upon. The KP days will be voted upon at the Fight For Five as it always is and always has been, and possibly a separate posting. The Dragon days will be voted on at the new American Dragon site and tv.com/American Dragon. And at any other suggested site set forth by any Dragon fans alike.

The combined KP/ADJL days will be voted upon at Kim Possible/American Dragon posting as those days will be voluntary on those who believe in both shows and want to save both Kim Possible and American Dragon. They will not conflict with KP days or American Dragon days. And the voting will also be posted at the Kim Possible/American Dragon posting at both tv.com/American Dragon and tv.com/Kim Possible.

People have mentioned that, combined, we could do alot. Someone used the 100 + 100 = 200 example. That is a very basic way to look at it. When you look at it like that, it looks full proof, but how many here are going to spend time on the ADJL site, here and send out e-mails on each sites respective days? Some of others also have to cope with the time differences, work, school and life in general. I refer to myself as a HKPF, hardcore KP fan, but even I am struggling and that's saying something, just ask many of the FFF that know me. I was all for this alliance because I thought it would help KP, but I said along time ago that I would prefer to have people that are giving their all than those that do it just for the sake of it. KP deserves our commitment and undivided support, as ADJL deserves from its fans. I chose the name KPCrusader because I will fight for KP no matter what. We form a joint alliance, I will fight with them, we go our seperate paths, I'll fight with my brothers and sisters here, if the FFF falls apart, I'll fight by myself. I would feel more confident in our fight if we 2,000 dedicated HKPF like myself than 5,000 people who's hearts are not in it. Ask yourselves that. Do you want to fight next to someone who might dropout and leave you and your comrads stranded or would you like to fight with people like me, like elvisjj, like Darth and others, who will be there for you till the end? I will be there to the end no matter what is decided here and I hope to share my last battle cries with many of you by my side, whether it be in victory or defeat. This is my opinion, it is my belief. In September when I first joined I made a vow which I will make now again. I guarantee that we will win, I guarantee that we will have boxsets because we wont lose! We wont lose because we cant lose!
