forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=203203It appears that The Emperor's New School (TENS) is ending after two seasons, and like KP, it will end with a Graduation special with all the Kuzco Academy kids graduating! This adds fuel to the fire to the notion that Disney Channel is going to rid itself of ALL animation at any cost. I bring this up because I'm sure the fans of that program will launch a campaign to save that show. Should those involved in the campaign for KP and JL:AD join forces with any fight to save TENS? Then, perhaps, the people involved to save that show could ally themselves with our cause.

Personally, I think we have enough to worry about being allied with ADJL.
If the FFF keeps joining up with every single movement out there to save a show, it's gonna kill us. If others want to fight for TENS, that's fine, but let them do it by themselves. If they're really passionate about it then they don't need to ally with anyone in order get the job done.

^^^ I agree with the second part. I think we should support the ADJL alliance as it is an example of great animation and is recent. I do however think that SDS should start having general save Disney's animation days to counter this sort of attitude Dinsey is adopting. It's disturbing to see an entire medium that's been taken to levels no other can reach die out like this. Especially on a network that has had such great succes with it.

I like TENS. I'd be more willing to save that than ADJL (sorry to those fans), but I agree that we can't keep allying ourselves every time a new cause pops up. I'm still not sold on the ADJL/KP alliance.
To have members in multiple camapigns... yeah. Whatev. But to officially connect ourselves and make them one movement is very bad.
There's a saying "you have to choose your battles". That's what we have to do. The energy, time, money, and sanity we invest in KP is enormous; you can't keep doing it or every movement will crash into each other and lay there smoldering in ruins.

It's disturbing to see an entire medium that's been taken to levels no other can reach die out like this. Especially on a network that has had such great success with it. I feel you may be on to something here. Having "General Save Disney Animation Days" is a way to get involved in any fight to save TENS without becoming directly involved in it ourselves. Look at it this way: The fans of TENS now find themselves in the same boat that we are in. They saw the success that the fans of KP achieved in getting a fourth season for that show. I'm not saying that this will ever happen, but if the fans of TENS wished to ally themselves with our cause, then General Save Disney Animation Days would be one way to do it. A lot of good things have come out of Disney TV animation in these past twenty-plus years. Walt Disney once said himself, "Sure, we could make a half-hour animated cartoon for television every week, but that would be cheating." At least Disney took the time and effort to get it right. The records speaks for itself. The Disney Afternoon, Darkwing Duck, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Gargoyles, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and of course Kim Possible, Jake Long: American Dragon, and The Emperor's New School. Now the powers at the Disney Channel see that live action programming aimed at "tweens" like High School Musical and Hannah Montana is going like gangbusters, so they decide to plaster the schedule with HSM, HM, and their clones, even if means getting rid of all animation. (I want to make it clear that I'm not bashing High School Musical or Hannah Montana) It's like what happened on Saturday Morning cartoons in the early 1970's following the success of "Scooby-Doo". Within one or two years, nearly every other new Sat AM show on all three networks had adopted the Mystery-Comedy format. Success breeds imitation. What I am saying here is that the Disney Channel should have a whole array of family friendly shows, and that includes animated ones. That should be the main goal of our campaign. Why flush a rich heritage of well-made animation down the drain because of the apparent success live action "tween" shows are having right now? And I close with this thought: When Disney decides to get rid of Hannah Montana, will they have her graduate high school as well?

SDS should be the hub of a wheel with spokes, this way each spoke helps the whole wheel but can stay independent. Then on Save Days we can meet at the hub to join forces for the common good. This does not mean that the K.P.A.D. alliance is dead; but remain true to there own cause and can aide in the common battle against Disney’s programming choices.

I agree with in principal that Save Disney Shows should be hoping onto the band wagon on this one. It will come up in our meetings and I will mention it to Mike to mention it to Greg, but I feel the fans of The Emperor's New School should also get their chance to voice their opinions on their show ending just like we do at the Fight For Five and Fight For Three.
This is a tough call, but as I said. Let's all talk about this, but we really should send this to Save Disney Shows, as we have our hands full and our plates completely covered with just saving Kim Possible and American Dragon, and again both shows will fight separately and together.

Statement: I admire TENS, and I am 100% with the fact of fighting for more seasons with many other cartoons, but I also agree with ArtFan. It's too much of a hassle to combine all three fights. Soon the Replacement fans would want to fight along side us...what next? I say ney.

There is only really one solution to this It is to Seperate ourselves and help each other out but ones thing for sure All of us can collabarate to end the 2 seasons rule or whatever policy they have put up

Well true but were not all really going for one go Unless everyone here is willing to save every cartoon and pull triple shifts that of course but i think thats highly unlikely Its best to be independant, help each other out now and than, and than unite to end the Disney cartoon policy.

Second-Thought Agreement: Hmmm...I guess I was wrong, then. I am experiencing a feeling of glow, and a tad of humiliation. I say we join.

Sorry we cant allow joining of any sort anymore were big enough as it is The Bigger We Are The Slower We Move And Less Organize We'll Be Although the added firepower would be beneficial I think we'll have to pass on that

Unsure Statement: I am so confused...so, there are advantages and disadvantages, I see. But with this, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, I think. The alliance we have now is still not fully organised. Imagine what chaos it would bring to have a third party join us at this time. Even if we were totaly set at this point, we'd still have to slow down to re-adjust to having a third member and get them up to speed. That would definatley weaken the efforts of both our fight and the ADJL fight.
