With a script already written where Kim and Ron have to face unforeseen adversity, but one most of us can relate to, all that remains is finding individuals that can reasonably emulate voices for KP characters. So if you feel that you can emulate the voice of a character on KP, with the exception of Kim and Ron because there are already two very reliable members cast for these roles, and are interested please PM me or post on this thread. For this particular project I am especially interested in a Drakken, Shego and Wade (although I can do Wade myself if necessary, I would rather it not come to that). If you cannot do Drakken, Shego or Wade, but another character, do not refrain from highlighting that talent as there remains a sufficient probability that more shorts may be created using other characters in the future, depending on how well this initial project goes.

Regarding voice samples, if you believe you sound like a particular individual from the show and would like to participate in this project then simply PM me which voice you could like to tryout for. I will send you further information in a reply PM. Understand that for this first short if you do a voice that is not Dr. Drakken, Shego or Wade you will need to wait until a future short, but please do highlight your talent because if this first short goes well I plan to tap almost every character in Kim Possible if someone can do his/her voice.
At the moment background music outside of the voices themselves is on a back burner as I view it not to be a critical issue at the movement. In the future music will be applied, but realistically this first project will probably not have any unless something changes.

I can do an okay Rufus. Unfortunately not at the moment, because of problems with my tonsils. That'S pretty weird. The last time someone asked the same question, I had problems with my throat too...

darkwarrior: Personal Message, click sombershadow's name and there you can click "Send Personal Message"-link. I have been also thinking about fan-production for a while. That would be wonderful to make own Kim Possible animation, but first of all I would point short animations to Disney to tell for them what Kim and other thinks about quiting the show. I have spent my free-time(School keeps me very busy) last weeks mostly on finding possibility's about voice morphing and I think making voices is not so big problem anymore. I know there is already software which can change anyone's voice to anyone else. The problem is that there is not freeware voice changers which has enough options(usually only pitch-shift and helium-voice-factor which is known by many other names also) to change voice timbre. For example this: www.audio4fun.com/voice-over.htm software can imitate nearly anyones voice but not in trial version note, of course voice changing is not enough, it need very good voice acting skills also. I have found out all factors which make sound timbre an how to change them to fit other timbres. If someone is interested about making voice changer for this purpose(fan-production, fff), PM me and I'll share my knowledge . Whole thing is really very simple. For cooperation I'm very flexible with choosing programming language(free languages, basics are my best area but other languages are not big problem for me, I learn new syntaxes quickly.)... if someone is interested... unless, I will continue my slow pace. I planned to post here when I have something to show or if I have, but I couldn't wait after seeing topic about it . PS. I'm not native English speaker... so I don't know if I made some strange word chooses or grammatic mistakes. edit: Just found spell checker. edit2: I think I'll use python and pymedia.

I can to Drakken's voice. You....you.....you......may I worship you now? No thanks. You may want to look at a sample of it first to ensure I'm good at it. I haven't used it in front of a lot of people.

Noooooooo, now there are expectations for the project. But in all seriousness jamesburningstorm and Drakken'sPrincess if you want to participate there are some generic parts that do not require any unique type of voice written in future scripts. So if we get far enough that those scripts are tapped and you want to participate I would be happy to send you the material. Forlong brings up a point that needs to be made. For those that would like to submit voice recordings demonstrating their command of a particular voice one of the easier ways to do so is to use Sound Recorder that, if memory serves, comes with all Windows programs 95 and later. Although Sound Recorder may not have any real bells or whistles, it does get the job done fairly effectively. Sound Recorder can be located under the Accessories - Entertainment tab under the (All) Programs option on the Start menu. One outside piece of equipment that will be needed is a microphone, which can be purchased for 5 - 10 dollars at most retails stores that carry electronics if you want functional, but not luxury, if one is not already owned. Remember we are still looking for a Shego, so anyone that can please post or if you know of someone that would be a good candidate let him/her know about this thread.

I have to admit, I have always have an interest in voice-acting, I have been known to do some funny voices, and some voices that sounded totally evil depends on the character. I think I'll try at this.

This sounds alot like the ADJL Podcast I run, except with animation. and may I just say..... COOL! I'd be more than happy to help with anything I can in this. I already have contacts that are good for finding VA talent as well as a knowledge of production of these things. For starters, none of you should be using Sound Recorder, eww thats just wrong. That thing only lets you record for a minute at a time. audacity.sourceforge.net/latest/audacity-win/audacity-win-1.2.6.exe is a free program for recording and editing that is much better than SR. and... audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3 is an addon that will let it export to mp3. As I said I'll be happy to help you all in anyway I can.

I don't know if I'm a good specific character but if you guys need voices, I will be happy to lend a hand. Plus, I have an awesome microphone. Just give me the material and I could do it.

I think I'll try at this. Like I said earlier Darkwarrior simply state which character outside of Kim, Ron and maybe Drakken that you would like to voice and I will send you some practice lines so you can get your voice down in a way you like. You can either PM me or post here about the character of choice. Mike regarding voice talent, for a sense of variety in script construction anyone that can voice a KP character that is not Kim, Ron or Drakken would be useful, but only if they want to do it, I don't want anyone doing a voice to look at this as work. Feel free to use any recording software you want, I suggested Sound Recorder due to ease of use, but if you want to use something else as long as its output file is in .wav or .mp3 form, that is perfectly fine.

It is time for an update on the progress of the animated short. The update will be broken down into % complete of various categories with explanation. Script = 99.9%. Realistically the script is complete (heck it was complete a long time ago), but one or two lines could be added or subtracted in the future, so until I send it to FaZhou as a final copy and recording it will probably remain at 99.9%. Filled Voice Actors = 62.5% - 75%. Of the eight characters that appear in this particular short, five, maybe a sixth, have been filled. The remaining parts that are up for grabs are Wade and Shego (by 'up for grabs' I mean 'please somebody take these parts, I don't want to resort to my doing them. Basically the first person that is interested and can do a reasonable job gets the part). However, I remind everyone that if you can do anyone from the Kim Possible world that is not Kim or Ron please do not hesitate to point it out on this thread. Successfully Recorded Lines » 31%. A good chuck of the Kim work has been completed (of course that does not stop me from throwing Princess Kpnc113 extra lines, here and there piling the work on her ;D) along with some of the other minor characters. Most of the delay goes to a lack of a Shego and a couple of the other voice actors being busy with upcoming finals (clearly more deserving of attention). In the next week or two I anticipate this number to increase. Animation Blocking » 10%The animation blocking is in its initial stages of discussion in effort to ensure that the action is as exciting as possible with suitable fluidity. I anticipate most of the initial plan to be fine, with maybe some minor changes to aid in ease of motion and viewing due to the possibility of low payoff/time ratios. I also anticipate this number to increase significantly in the next week or two. Actual Animation = 0%At this time I have sent nothing final to FaZhou for animation, but hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks due to the conclusion of finals for some of the voice actors and filling the remaining two roles. Estimated Date of Release = I have no good estimation for when the short will be completed at this time. Overall it depends on filling the remaining roles and how busy FaZhou is with other things he needs to do in his life when I send him the finalized recordings. I will have a better estimate in the next week or two. Biggest Hurdles = If you have not guessed yet, it is that no one has emerged to take on the role of Shego, which means that if push comes to shove I will have to do it and my Shego voice is somewhat lacking, not horrible, but not that good. The fact that I do not have the female voice nuances hurts my voice the most. So we need someone to step in and shout 'I can do Shego! Send me the lines!' to which I will retort 'Yay! Here you go...'. The same goes for Wade, although my Wade is better than my Shego. Overall I would rather not resort to voice modulation, but I will for the good of the project if no one that can do a Shego voice wants to participate, but that will take time, so a natural speaker equals a faster completion time and probably a little better product.

You know what?
If it's not too late...
I'll do Shego. Send me the lines, and give me the direction.
I may not be perfect, and I'll sound more like the Wicked Witch, but, I will do it. To help you out.
