Time for an update on the project. Script = 99.9% No surprise here although the some of the dialogue has changed and new lines have been written since the last update. Voice = 75 - 100% If you do not count me taking on a quasi-major role then 75% of the voice talent is cast. However, throw me and my quality (I use that term loosely) voice into the mix and we are fully cast due to Ashley Benlove taking on the role of Shego. Really if everyone heard her Shego against my Shego all would agree that she is clearly superior. So thank you to all voice actors that have stepped up and put work into this project. Lines Completed = 76.25%Most of the characters are either finished or have a few lines left; hopefully in the next two weeks all of the remaining voice actors will have the free time necessary to finish up. Blocking = 95 - 100%Basically I have created two different blocking scripts. One I have titled, 'Ok I am almost 100% sure we can do this.' The other I have titled, 'It would be awesome if we can do this' (a.k.a. the original blocking script). Animation: < 0.1% Hopeful in the coming month this number will change because in the next few days I will send some voices with edited blocking to FaZhou and he will actually be able to do something instead of wait for me to get some stuff to him. Estimated Date of Release = Still unknown due to difficult technological estimations, but as you can note from the above material, progress is being made. Hazzah progress!

It is time for another update on the animated short project. Script = 99.9%Really, did you expect any change here? This will be at 99.9% until you are actually watching the short. Voice Casting = 100%No changes here from last time, but if anyone that sounds like Drakken wants to take that part off of my hands, you will get no objections from me. Line Reading = 76.25%Unfortunately no further work has been made on this front due to none of my voice actor volunteers replying to my requests, I assume they are busy doing other things. Will further lack of communication be a problem? At the moment, no, but it may cause some lag in the release depending on the level of quality desired. Blocking = 99.9%All of the blocking has been decided upon based on a 'we will do this, unless we can do this which is cooler, but more complicated' philosophy. Animation = 20-25%The animation progress goes chugging along. Over half of the scenes in the short have some work done, including the gargantuan multiple non-generic backgrounds Scene 4. All of the characters have been designed and a good number of the props/accessories have been created. In addition various Easter-Egg type props and visuals are being considered. Oh you want a scene-by-scene breakdown (all of these percentages are of course rough)? Scene 1 = 40% Scene 2 = 65% Scene 3 = 35% Scene 4 = 10% Scene 5 = 85% Scene 6 = 0% Scene 7 = 5% Of course with Scene 4 and 6 being the larger scenes, you can understand why the overall total is only 20-25%. Final Release Date = No question marks this time Right now barring some unforeseen craziness I am looking at a release date of Mid to Late July.

Well, it is finals time for some schools right now. However, have you had any requests of me? I haven't had any emails/PMs from you for a while.

Seeing that we are getting closer to the so-called release date, sometimes there will be a shorter, but more frequent update than in the past. Script - No Change; Cast - No Change; although again if you can do a voice always feel free to mention it. Lines Completed - 78%; (the reason this percentage increased is because I wrote a few new lines for some characters that I am voicing due to the short dragging in some places). Blocking - No Change; Animation - 45-50%; some nice progress over the last few days ( x%) = % competed in the last 10 days Scene 1 - 98% (58%) Scene 2 - 99.9% (34.9%) Scene 3 - 55% (20%) Scene 4 - 40% (30%, whoo scene 4 is long and complicated) Scene 5 - 99.9% (14.9%) Scene 6 - 9-10% (9-10%) Scene 7 - 25% (20%) Date of Release - Right now no change; although depending on how editing goes it may be delayed. Side Note - In a couple of days I may release one of the little side projects I have been working on just to see how it flies. Well, it is finals time for some schools right now. However, have you had any requests of me? I haven't had any emails/PMs from you for a while. Sorry, I probably should have said I have received no replies from those voice volunteers that I have tried to contact. Right now I am 99.9% sure that no new lines will be written for Shego or Drakken and you did an admirable job with Shego requiring no re-recording.

Wow! I am amazed by how much animation has happened. That's GREAT.
Oh, cool! Thanks. I get slightly paranoid sometimes.

Please tell me it doesn't look freaky. I'm always afraid of outcome in such projects o.O Get a realistic view and you'll get my point.
Would be great if you uploaded let's say one voiced line from upcoming animation as a preview (audio file I mean).

since we have cool flash animators here, why don't we make KP flash game? Some simple yet cute 2d arcade, I can already feel how awesome would it be!

I think thats a cool idea, but isn't that hard? yeah, I tryed to read about flash, it requires good programming skill, but according to this thread we can make flash animation-short, then we probably have good flash programmer?

I'm not sure, maybe Fazhou knows it, hes the one who does the 3D animation.

I'm not sure, maybe Fazhou knows it, hes the one who does the 3D animation. Yeah, but I don't know how to do Flash animation, only iClone. I can, however, point you towards people who do have experience with Flash. For example, those who have done "dress up Drakken" games at deviantArt. There are plenty of those. Also, our very own Drakkenfan has made this Flash animation video: drakkenfan.deviantart.com/art/Seduction-29583829Our very own Rinacat has recently added this Flash animation to her gallery: rinacat.deviantart.com/art/KP-KiGo-caramell-dansen-87954168You might ask them for tips on how to get started with Flash animation. They've done an excellent job. The problem with iClone is that it only comes with about a dozen or so "stock" movements, which really is not nearly enough to create a "movie", or even enough to create a short video. To compensate, one has to create new movements, and the process is extremely tedious and time-consuming. As I am in the middle of composing a professional stage musical (unrelated to Kim Possible), and am committed to the project until this autumn, I simply won't have the time to create many complicated iClone pieces until the end of the year.
