Hi All,
I got to ask.
Are you story boarding the project? And who are all the characters that you are using? Are you using just main characters or are you using some back ground characters, as well? Example: Sandy, Ned, Mr. Stockwell, and etc... I find that the little things and characters make all the differenece in the world.
Please and Thank You,
Tony M. Victorino

I guess it is update time. Hi All, I got to ask. Are you story boarding the project? And who are all the characters that you are using? Are you using just main characters or are you using some back ground characters, as well? Example: Sandy, Ned, Mr. Stockwell, and etc... I find that the little things and characters make all the differenece in the world. Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino No, due to the fact that outside of the voice actors the production staff boils down to me and maybe FaZhou, depending upon his schedule, so storyboarding this project is something that would have just produced extra work for me with no real benefit. Now if there were a number of animators with the overall duties split between all parties, indeed storyboarding would make sense, but that is not the case. One of the goals of this project was to create a somewhat realistic script and features paralleling to an actual Kim Possible episode. However, there is the problem that very few individuals volunteered to voice parts for this project (one reason why people should be thankful for those that did volunteer and turned in and/or are continuing to turn in good work). The lack of voice volunteers limits the amount of characters that can be inserted. Right now in the short there are 15 different characters that are related to the Kim Possible series and/or play a significant role in the short. 9 of these 15 characters have speaking parts and 4 of the 6 that do not speak still play a significant role in the plot. The remaining two characters are just Easter-egg type characters. Is there any chance of a sneek peek of the animation ;D ;D ;D Regarding any release of a preview, this might be a possibility in a couple of weeks, but right now editing is the priority. As for the standard update materials - Script: 99.9%; Of course not surprising, but this 99.9% persistence is funny because realistically the script has changed in certain areas so the original 99.9% posting would probably now be something like 77% instead. Casting: 100%; Nothing has changed here although as always if you can do a voice and want to participate in any possible future project feel free to chime in. Voice Work: 78%; As stated in my last quasi-update I added some more lines which explains this increase. The good news is that since the last update all remaining voice actors have been contacted successfully and they hopefully will be putting the finishing touches on their voices in the near future and this number will zip up to 100%. Blocking: 99.9%; Similar to the script this number actually has changed considerably over the lifespan of the project largely due to technical limitations in iClone. Animation: 85%; Scene 1 - 99.9%* Scene 2 - 99.9% Scene 3 - 55% Scene 4 - 99.9% [Finally] Scene 5 - 99.9%* Scene 6 - 90% Scene 7 - 99.9%* * = in the process of being edited; As can be seen from the progress chart, 5 of the 7 scenes are basically finished and all will soon enter editing. Hopefully Scene 3 should be finished to the point of editing relatively soon. Of course right now Scene 6 appears to be a nightmare on the editing side, so who knows how long that will take both on Scene 6 and all of the editing in general. Release Date - Uh oh back to question marks because unfortunately it looks like I will have some new occupational obligations that will require my attention in the near-future, so the progress of the project might slow to the point where the previously estimated late July release date may not be feasible. Also I may have underestimated the time required to properly edit each portion of the project, but I will finish as soon as I am able.

Update time, Update time. hey this looks cool can't wait for it to be finished, i can't do any voices unfortuntally but i could stream some charachters lines together for you using audio from the show. Thanks, but no thanks; I have all of the voice incorporation under control. Script - 99.9%;Yawn, but status quo is nice when it is 99.9%. Voice Casting - 100%;More of the good status quo. Voice Lines/Incorporation - 93%;Hopefully by the next update this number will reach the promised land of 99.9%. Blocking - 99.9%The nice thing about the blocking was that in the end a lot of the original blocking was incorporated into the short. Booyah! Animation - 99.9%And so it finally happened, the animation is on the home stretch. Progress has been so fast that I did not even need to use the double asterisk to represent 'edited, but changes yet to be incorporated'. Scene 1 = 99.9%*** Scene 2 = 99.9%*** Scene 3 = 99.9%*** [This scene turned out nicely, much better than I initially anticipated when beginning, despite certain technological limitations] Scene 4 = 99.9%*** [The beast] Scene 5 = 99.9%*** Scene 6 = 99.9%*** [Somewhat surprisingly editing Scene 4 turned out to be more of a chore than editing Scene 6 mostly because I was able to animated some of the more difficult scenes successfully the first time around.] Scene 7 = 99.9%*** *** = primary editing completed and changes incorporated, secondary editing remains. Some remaining new material as it currently stands - Run Time - Prior to the changes brought on by the primary edit, the run time on the animated short was approximately 14 minutes and 41 seconds. However, although the total changes due to editing have not been officially calculated my gut estimate is that the run time will increase by approximately 30 - 90 seconds (do not hold me to that though). Flow - The flow of the short was strong and smooth between transitions from scene to scene. Characters - Right now there are 16 different characters where technically 11 have speaking roles and 4 of the 5 non-speaking roles play a significant role in the plot. Preview Clip - A preview clip has been created and could be released sometime in the upcoming week pending editing. Note that this clip is not some extensive trailer, but probably can be classified as more promotional material. Release Date - If progress is going so well (despite my new occupational responsibilities), why the question marks? Unfortunately there are still some loose ends that need to be wrapped up and it is difficult to determine a hard and fast date to when that will happen. However, I will say that unless something really wacky happens (like my computer getting stolen) the short will be released, at the very latest, in the first week of August.

Wow, that short is 15 minutes long! That's really good. That's like the average length of an episode.
Bravo. I can't wait to see the finished product.

After being offline for a considerable period of time due to technological issues, we're back. [Golf Clapping] Oh, don't everyone cheer all at once. Well, I suppose it is time for an update. This update will be a little less comprehensive than previous updates because when most of the work is at the 99.9% range there is little progress to cite. Regarding editing and the animation - Scene 1 = 99.9%**** Scene 2 = ;D Scene 3 = ;D Scene 4 = 99.9%**** Scene 5 = ;D Scene 6 = 99.9%*** Scene 7 = ;D where *** = Secondary Editing Still Pending; **** = Processing Finalization; ;D = Finalized unless of course I think of something else to add that will make it better; Reading over the last few posts, the expectations for this project appear to be high. Hmm, what can I do about this situation? How can expectations be lowered to a - 'I'll watch the short, but will not expect much' classification? [Hazzah, self-depreciation] I know I'll release the promotional clip that was alluded to in my previous post. Yeah that should do it. Note - this clip is not a trailer, but instead a promotional clip with a little dash of my quirkiness. Here is the link - www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFLXxv7A_A4

Quick Note: Barring unanticipated circumstances this update will be the last one before the release of the first episode of the series.
Ok, I have good news and bad news. First, the good news - I have decided that at the very latest I will release the first episode on Wednesday August 6th. So in less than two weeks the first episode will be released (barring some unforeseen nonsense like my computer being stolen etc.)
Now the bad news, unfortunately as of this moment there still remains one loose end that has yet to be tied up and is really outside of my control. What are the ramifications for the episode if it is released with this loose end? There should be no problem that any viewer not familiar with the script will be able to deduce. Overall the episode would be better with this loose end tied up, but it does not need to be tied up to still be coherent and of quality.
Of course the August 6th date only holds if the loose end is not tied up, I will release the episode 2-3 days after the loose end is tied up, so the release could be sooner.
Also depending on how things go with my schedule over the next couple of weeks (how much I am able to animate) I will also make a couple additional announcements regarding the series when I post regarding the release of the episode.
